      I made purchases and requested gift receipts. w When the item was returned using the gift receipt, a much lower amount was credited to the gift receipent. In one case it was 9 % less, in another it was 17 % less and in chatting with someone on social media, they indicated approximately 50% less.What was told me me by a supervisor, that there must be an additional discount given-no, Kohls notes all discounts. In anouther case a supervisor told my son that it was policy. Yet in both cases when the origional receipt was produced, the actual money spent was returned. As mentioned any discount is note on the receipt and in the second instance, if it was policy, why was the actual paid amount returned?Why is Kohls keeping money and the cashiers not telling customers that upon use of a gift receipt the amount returned would be less than what the purchaser spent? This can't be legal! Kohls is probably keeping millions of dollars and the purchaser had no idea this was happening. I didn't until I used the gift receipt for a return but had the origional receipt to compare. This is ripping off the consumers!

      I am reaching out on behalf of Kyungim (****) Son, my girlfriend's mother. Via email, a scammer impersonated her boss and requested for her to purchase and redeem $1500 worth of Sephora at Kohls gift cards. She purchased them and then realized it was a scam, so she cut communication with the scammer instead of redeeming the gift cards and providing them with the information. The Son family, ***** and ****, have been doing a back and forth with Sephora and Kohls that has lead nowhere. The gift cards are frozen and neither business is able to unfreeze them. The purchase receipt (attached) and transaction (attached as well) both show as Kohls, and after speaking with ****** corporate, they said they'd look into their options, but this was a month ago (email attached). At this point, processing a refund via check would be preferred as the gift cards are frozen and neither business is able to figure out how to unfreeze. The gift cards are paid for but cannot be used an Kohls corporate has stopped responding. This is unacceptable.***** and her mom have attempted to reach out to ****** w/ the corporate team and she was supposed to get back to them LAST MONTH. They've reached out multiple times since to no ******** this point, I'm not sure what's left to do aside from send a demand letter followed with pursuing a small claims case.

      Since it doesn't sound like ******* contacted the customer, we would like to customer to take the cards and the receipt to the Store and contact the Store Manager.  We have a plan in place to work with the Store Manager once you are at the Store.  We have already made contact to the Store Manager that this will be related to ***** Son. They will contact our ************************** to help with the refund for the cards.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      **** went in today and this is what happened:

      The store managers ****** and **** were made aware of the situation.

      **** handed the frozen gift cards to them, they attempted to scan the gift cards, but they showed a zero balance due to the fact that they were frozen.

      Please note that we know for a fact that there was $250 loaded onto each of the six gift cards as the receipt indicates the purchase was made and the Kohls team initiated the freeze.

      The in-store team then attempted to call the corporate team for assistance with the resolution, however the team that was called to assist with the situation was unable to resolve, at which point they attempted to transfer the call and the line dropped and zero progress was made - wasting ****** time once again.

      **** is going to attempt to get in contact with the Sales Audit team (the team that's able to resolve this, allegedly) tomorrow, however, as the response provided per your earlier response was a failure, I am going to reject this response.

      11/12/24 date of purchase upc #************ **** Air Max EXCEE shoes order #********** Purchase amount $80.44 They shipped me Baking sheets in error. I never received the shoes I ordered. Contacted ****** via phone 11/24/24 case #******-010663 12:04pm explaining what happened stated they would issue refund of $80.44 within 7day sometimes 2-4weeks The shoes are now out of stock.Contacted ****** via phone 12/9/24 8:32am ref #******-008892 spoke to ***** she stated she'd expediate the claim I should refund 7-10 days Contacted local ******* store spoke to manager ******** asking for help with this matter she stated unfortunately she can't help since it was an online order.Contacted ****** via phone 1/1/25 8:27am ref #1WRY Spoke to ***** she stated she would escalade this matter and I would see a $80.44 refund within 7 business days. I have yet to receive my refund for the product I never received.

      I ordered a pair of new balance shoes and when they were delivered it was completely the wrong pair. I took them to kohls so that they could hopefully reorder me the correct pair. At customer service they said the could not reorder for me and that I would just have to return the shoes. I asked about shipping costs and they said if I used the WiFi in store and ordered, there shouldnt be shipping costs, but if there were to come back and they would reimburse me. It still charged for shipping so I went back to customer service and she said that I would have to come back after the shoes were delivered and I could get the shipping costs back. I dont think it is right to have to go back to the store a second time for something that was never my fault. I tried chatting with an agent through their online customer service and she was extremely unhelpful just telling me to go back to the store. I would like to be reimbursed for the shipping costs without having to go back to the store.

      I placed an order for item coming to the $29.40 online. I had oral surgery and someone went to pick it up the day after I got the email saying it was ready to pick up. I followed the instructions to authorize that person and provided that persons name. That person went to pick the item up and nothing was there to get. I spent a long time trying to find a representative to speak with and when I was finally able to speak with a person they said despite not having picked up anything I would have to dispute the charge with the bank. No one, not me or my contact person had picked anything up. That person was working when I had gotten the email and was totally unaware that it had even arrived at the store for pick up. It was nothing he'd have any interest in to take for himself. I haven't left the house so I for sure never picked it up. I don't think it is acceptable to charge a person for something they had no possibility of taking.

      Last month I ordered some Christmas bubble lights from Kohls's website. They should have been delivered January 2nd. About a week after that I contacted them because I had not received my ordered and the tracking said it was returned to Kohls. I called their 800 number and after talking to a rude associate who told me that the package was being returned because *** broke them. I was transferred to a manager who hung up on me. I had to call back. The manager I talked to was not helpful and did not have any answers to my questions. I was told I would get a refund. Well, I only got a partial refund for only 2 of the 3 lights I ordered. I had to call them back again to find out why I didn't get a full refund. Again, I was not giving any answers to my questions. I was also told they would not be refunding the shipping cost. I told them since *** was the ones who broke it, I would not be paying the shipping cost. I got a 2nd refund from them, but it was not the full amount I paid. I had to call them back again!! After talking to another manage who I did not ask to talk to said I was still going to get the shipping cost refunded I got another email that I was refunded 8.95. Which is still not the full amount I paid. I paid ***** so far, I have been refunded *****. I know .92 cents is not much but just think if they keep a dollar from everyone who does returns with them. This whole experience has been a nightmare. I would like to be compensated for my time this company has wasted.

      I do not want kohls cash because I will not spend my money at a company that treats their customers like this. My complaint was more than them just shorting me a 1.00. Its the way I was treated and all of my time that was wasted. Something I forgot to add in my original complaint was the first time I called I was told that my local kohls in ******* had them in stock. ******* is not local to me. It would take me about 3 hours each way. Only to find out that that kohls did not have them. So I was sent to a store 3 hours away from my house for it to not be in stock. This company has wasted over 6 hours of my time.

      Again that was not the point. You are not fixing my problem with you wasting my time. That I should not have had to contact you 3 times to get my money returned or to have been hung up on by your employees multiple times. I was not going to use the kohls cash so I dont care if you take it back. You have cost me over ****** in wasted time to get the money you owned me back. So no this is not about a 1.00 that your company shorted me.

      I ordered 2 shirts on 1/4/25 from ****** website. The promised delivery date was 1/9 to 1/13/2025. One was delivered on 1/15/25 the other is still listed as awaiting pickup. I have the transcript of my chat with ****** and have the email from Kohls confirming the delivery date available for forwarding. They told me they won't take any action until 1/29/25 and I can not start the refund process until then as well.

      I placed on order on 12/3 for 3 sets of dishes. On 12/7 they delivered two of them. The third never arrived yet they charged my credit card for all 3 orders. I called to find out where my order was 1/23/25 and they didn't know. They still stock the pots and pans so I asked to just fill my order. they would not. They instead refunded my part of my money in the amount of $23.17. that is not the entire amount they owe and is an unacceptable business practice.

      My order was placed on 1/7. One item has no any progress in tracking. The label was created, but *** does not have package yet. I contacted ****** twice. First time, they told me to wait until 1/21; Second time, they told me to wait until 1/23. And according to the representative: "If you not receive any update order by Jan 23 2025 nd of the day please contact us back. We will be able to immediately process a replacement order with no cost or a refund, whichever would you prefer best."Today 1/23, I contacted them again, and they told me to wait until 1/27! It's been more than 2 weeks!

      I am having a major issue with Kohls and after many attempts to speak with online customer service and the ********************** associates, I am coming to you.I purchased several dishware sets from Kohls on 08/23/2024. Unfortunately, these dishes are already starting to show scratch marks from use. Now you should know that the ONLY person to use these dishes is ME. Nobody else lives in my house, I travel frequently for work, so these dishes hardly get used and are already scratching as if they are 15 years old. I attempted to contact Kohls to return, but they are outside the return window. I believe I should be able to get my money back since these dishes seem to be defective. II really love Kohls and have been a lifelong customer, but this issue is starting to change my mind. Kohls customer service has been NO help.
