Kohl's is asking for full ****** ******** ******* to set up credit cards potentially leading especially senior citizens who may be easily influence jeopardize their personal information. And I was asked to enter this information at a check out register where the information being entered is potentially exposed to observation and misuse. Upon realizing that Kohl's required this information to set up my account, I immediately required that all entries already made be voided and said I never share my ****** ******** ****** and would rather pay full amount than do that. The check out person was cooperative But this is information that should never be requested. They are the first company Or Organization to ask for anything more than the last four digits in I don't know how many years.. I was flabbergasted. Especially since the ****** ******** ************** itself repeatedly advises people to never share their ****** ******** *******. I would still shop there BUT do not expose yourself to set up a credit card.

I purchased an item and tried to return it but was told that it had overextended their return policy however on the back of the receipt they state Hassle-Free returns any item, anytime you will receive a full refund. I spoke with customer service manager at the store who was rude and just told me to have a good day. I tried contacting the headquarters at the number provided here on the bbb website and after several attempts it will not connect you to a customer service representative only takes you back to the same automated message

Wouldnt give me my money back. Earned Kohls Cash on a purchase of two pairs of shoes. Used the Kohls Cash on a pair of shorts. I returned one pair of the shoes because they did not fit. Kohls kept $10 of my refund because I used the Kohls Cash to buy the shorts. The shorts did not fit so I returned them. They would only offer me the Kohls Cash coupon of $10 back instead of the real $10 that was withheld from my credit card for the shoe return, which was paid for with a different method in a completely separate transaction. They also did not give me back all the taxes I paid on the shoe return. This place is a scam. They had no problem withholding my real money when I returned the shoes, but would only offer me their fake Kohls Cash coupon when I returned the shorts. The coupon must be used in their store, and it expires in a month. Manager said to call Kohls website to fix it. Kohls website said to call the manager. Corporate just loops around to make you call the website again. No wonder this place has been involved in multiple lawsuits. Avoid Kohls.

DO NOT GET A KOHL'S CHARGE!!!!! THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CREDIT!!!!!! This place is such a SCAM! When you go to set up automatic payments to your account, they have just 2 options, either pay the entire balance each month, (which I couldn't) or pay the minimum payment due only. There is no option for "other amount." If you pay just the minimum amount due each month then that guarantees that they will get you for all that interest $$$. I was told by one of their reps that I could pay a different amount but would have to go in every month prior to my due date to the website and submit it. This sounded ridiculous to me as I have several other credit cards with major companies that have an "other amount" payment option available for automatic payments. On a different call to them, a rep told me that they could set up automatic payments for a different amount, so I did that and it worked great for three months then it stopped, and I had no idea it did until I got a notice from one of my other card companies that my credit score had dropped. When I checked my credit, my score had dropped by 48 points because Kohl's reported me delinquent! When I called Kohl's about this and finally got a rep that I could understand, I explained everything to them, and they basically called me a liar by saying that there was no way that they could have set up the payments for me! I have had this account for about 10 years or more and now I am going to cancel it because of this! Now I have to dispute the delinquency on my report with the credit bureau!

I placed an order online for in store pick up. The delivery took longer than estimated when I placed the order and I no longer needed the item by the time it was delivered to the store. I never picked up, expecting it to be cancelled and refunded after the pick up period expired. Instead I was charged twice for the item. I messaged customer service through their website and was told to wait 2 weeks. I waited and still no refund. I went into the store, explained the situation to an associate, and was told there's nothing they can do I have to call corporate customer service. So I called them and was told they can only fix it if I used a Kohls credit card, but since I used my bank card I have to dispute the charges with my bank. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have been charged over $60 for something I never picked up, I have wasted my time and gas and now have to use the bank tellers time to try to fix a problem that Kohls caused. Will not shop here again.

Kohls is charging me for a store pickup that I cancelled. I have a cancellation email from them. several days later they put it back out on my kohls account that I can still pick it up. Then they charge me for it. I have chatted and called and they say it is under review. Last i checked you can't charge someone for something I don't have. Calling was a joke-no one can do anything except say its being reviewed. Cancelling my charge and not shopping there anymore over this

I made a purchase at Kohls in ***************************************** store and they charged my card  20.00. I still had a balance on my card. The next day I was charged 20.00 again for the same purchase putting me over my limit. This showed on ********. I called twice asking for a supervisor and was put on very long holds only for them to hang up on me. I tried the ASK US button and after a long time was told to go to the store which doesn’t have any resource to correct this from happening over and over again. I should not be double charged every time I go to the store.

As a long term customer over the past few decades, I am disappointed in how Kohl's Corp handled our credit card account. We occasionally charged items on the card and usually paid off the balance right away. A few years ago, we charged an amount and we ended up paying the balance minus $1. Kohl's didn't send us any notifications that we still owed them $1 nor did they attempt to contact us. Instead of a period of time where we didn't know we even had the $1 balance, Kohl's reported this to the credit services. Instead of reaching out to let us know we owed them $1 they instead reported us to the credit service over the $1 balance. We never had a late payment or missed a payment and usually paid the balance off. This caused my wife's credit score to drop by around 200 points. We were not aware of this until we were applying for a loan and her credit came back as poor. The loan officer traced the hit to her credit report to the $1 balance to Kohl's. We then contacted them to pay off the balance as this was the first time we were aware of the outstanding balance. I sent Kohl's 3 letters over a 4 to 5 month period asking for more details on why they submitted the issue to the credit agencies causing the credit score issue over $1 and they didn't bother to reach out to us. So far I have not received any response to my 3 letters from Kohl's. We have since cleaned up the issue by paying the balance but I am disappointed not only in how they handled this balance and the hit to our credit score but also that they haven't bothered to send me a response. Hoping this isn't happening to their other customers over a $1 balance.

Kohls policy about using Kohls cash is unclear. I had $40 worth that expired on 5/31, but I heard that they would still honor it up to 10 days after the expiration and I confirmed it on their site so I didn’t rush out to use it on 5/31. As it turns out if the Kohls cash was issued online and you print it out to use in store within that 10 days grace period, they won’t take it! It needs to have been issued physically in store to qualify for this grace period. This was not stated clearly at all, but they will very clearly refuse to honor it in store and will do nothing to accommodate their Kohls card/rewards members if you contact their customer service. So disappointing that Kohls does not care at all about customer retention. Planning to cancel my card and stop giving my business to this sad establishment. $40 to keep a customer? Seems like a small price for customer retention. Sad.
