On February 16th we trusted Window Select to supply us with new windows which we worked very hard to afford. Finally we get enough money we fill out the paperwork the measure our windows they said they need a down payment it going to be half of the full amount due the next day I looked at my bank statement they took the full amount. Then windows were supposed to be in by June they keep changing the date. Finally I said I want to cancel they said ok the money will be in your account within 2 business days never happened. I just want my money back. I do have all the paperwork to back up my story. Shame on him for doing this to people.Initial Complaint

July 19, 2021 ***************************** paid $3,100 to Windows Select for an order containing windows. In November 2021, **** started calling roughly every 4 weeks to find out where the order was. Each time a representative said the order would be in and ready for install within the next 30 days. The last 2 calls, November 11, 2022, and November 17, 2022, we requested a full refund due to their inability to fulfill the order or contract. On November 11th, ***** from the answering service said a manager would return the call within ***** hours. No call has been received. On November 17th, ***** the receptionist, said she could see a call was received on the 11th and the account was noted that a manager would call. She was going to escalate to the appropriate manager. No call has been received. We would like a full refund of $3,100 plus 3% interest.Initial Complaint

we ordered windows for our daughters house from window select on july 26 2021. we paid $4500 down at the time. they were supposed to be installed in November 2021. we have yet to have them installed or delivered. they keep telling us they will be in next month, but they never get them. our last attempt to contact on 11/29/2022 we have yet to get a response. we would at this point just like to get our money back so we can get windows through another company.Initial Complaint

Ordered 6 windows back in March 2021. Was promised that theses windows wouldn't leave moisture on my window cill. So there for, half was put down and the other half was to be paid once the job was completed. After numerous attempts trying to reach them to find out where they are with my windows, which I was promised a 12 week time frame. It wasn't until April of 2022 that they were installed. (13 months later). When installed, the new trim work was not tucked in the window base. They cut along the j-channel and glued it, so that consumers cant see if its tucked in. So if a j-channel needs to be replaced, the glue will peel away along the whole window trim. Now that its Nov. 2022, now I have an issue with the moisture ending up on my bottom window cill. So much that it has lifted the paint off. There for I have to keep a towel on the bottoms to keep it somewhat dry. $ ******* was paid in full. Half was paid on March 28, 2021 and the other half was paid in April 2022 through my debit card. I am requesting that I be refunded the whole amount due to the time I had to wait for them and the poor installation having them installed. I have enclose pics for you convenience.Initial Complaint

We purchased just over $3,000 of windows from Windows Select. Our install date was pushed back four times, many messages have not been returned and we are no where closer to receiving our windows after exactly one year now.Initial Complaint

In November 9 2021, I put a down payment of $1857 for two slider windows. In January I received an email stating that the windows were on back order. I than saw the complaint on a local news channel and called Windows Select when I was told that someone would contact me to discuss a refund. It is now November 14, 2022 and I still have not heard anything back from them and I still do not have new windows but I am currently paying a credit card bill towards the down payment with interest.Initial Complaint

I had windows select out to my house December of 2021 or January of 2022 I liked their windows so I set up with them to have 6 windows replaced in my kitchen, bathroom, and hallway. I put 900 down on my windows, They came out and measured in February for an install date of April. April rolled around and I havent heard from them so I reached out they pushed me back to July, with all this I started hearing about other peoples issues with the company so I got worried. I called again they promised July end of July came I called again they started talking about February I asked for my money back and they declined my request said a manager would call me back and that never happened either.Initial Complaint

We ordered windows for our house in March and placed $3100 down on my credit card. Originally they stated that the windows would be coming in August. As time went on we weren't hearing anything so started to reach out to them in July for updates but could not get through via phone, and when we did were getting the runaround. I then filed a fraud complaint through my credit card company and they started an investigation. I then also contacted a local deputy sheriff who is holding his own investigation with this company and local citizens affected. Windows Select claimed that we cancelled, which we didn't, but then when they were pressed about giving evidence of such, they were unable to provide that, and basically refused to pay back the $3100 to my credit card company. Now my credit card company closed my case and said that they can't do any more for me and are making me pay the $3100. We continue to try to reach WS but are unsuccessful. The organization ****************, hired to help Windows Select, is not responding to our messages either. The deputy sheriff has reached out to Cogent twice on my behalf to message me but they still have not. It's now November, and still no windows. The same thing happened to our elderly neighbor who is a recent widow. We understand this company is in legal trouble currently with this, and the owner is a felon who has done this in other states. I ordered windows from Window Select on 03-31-2021 for my rental property (**** *********) and my home (************************************************** *****). My husband and I financed $3500 of the cost, which we are still paying on, and paid the remaining balance off on July 19, 2021. The total cost of the project was $28,624. My rental property received the windows in December of 2021 but I was informed that our windows were delayed until July of 2022 due to supply shortages. The cost of our windows were $15,556.I started calling every week in July when I wasn't contacted from the company to schedule my install. No one called me back. On Monday October 24, 2022, I tried calling again with no answer. I search the internet for information and found an article that they are permanently closed and no product would be delivered on outstanding orders due to pending lawsuits.I have receipts of payments and original contract which stated my install would start in ***** weeks from purchase date.
