We ordered our windows and paid our deposit June 10, 2021. Still no windows. They will not refund us, stating they used the deposit money to purchase our windows. When we asked for proof that our deposit was used to purchase windows for our project, they sent a blank form. No payment date. No payment amounts. If anything, that proves they took our money and never ordered our windows at all. The company is now completely non-responsive. We last heard from them over a month ago despite calling multiple times. To add insult to injury Windows Select had the nerve to scold their consumers via email for posting reviews and filing complaints about their negative experiences. After no response from the company we filed a complaint with the ********* ***** and sent a certified letter termination our contract and requesting a full refund. The only response we received was an "I'm out of office email" from their third party admin team ****************. Windows Select needs to prove they actually used our deposit for our project or refund us the deposit in full.Initial Complaint

I signed a contract on 11-11-21, for 12 windows in my home. The total was a little under $15,000, I put down $3,000 (personal check), the rest of the stage fund was financed through greensky ($6,000). Once the windows would be installed the other half of the amount left would be due after installation. Window select measured my windows on 12-1-21 and through the contract I was told it would be ***** weeks turn around to get the windows. I called once it got close to the ***** week **** and then I was told it would be in July of 2022 I would get my windows(covid pushed manufacturing back). When I call in the beginning of July for an uodate the delivey day got pushed back due to January of 2023, due to manufacturing issues. I've called windows select many times and never received a phone call back. They have an answering service that tells me they will message window select and they should get back to me in ***** hours (which never hapoens), I've talked to the supervisor at the answering service and still have not received any response back from window select. Communication is awful. I just want my money back for the windows I never received and probably will not ever receive. I have even contacted two Manufacturing companies that make windows for windows select and they say that the windows are on hold and my order is not with those 2 companies (Northeast Building Products and Climate Solutions ********************************* I think they might be 1 or 2 other companies out there that make windows for windows select. Again I just want my money back for the products I never received.Initial Complaint

On 1/18/2022 we placed an order for new windows. We placed a down-payment of $6,600. We were told our new windows would be in by the middle of May. It is now the last week of September 2022 and still no windows. We have called Window Select and they keep giving us the run around. We want our down-payment back.Initial Complaint

We placed our order with this company in early November, 2021. We have been promised our windows on several occasions only to have the date continuously pushed back. Now that we are thinking about cancelling, they are stating that we won't get all of our money back and can't even promise when we will get a partial refund check. It does not feel like we will ever get windows from them at this point and now we are starting to question if we will even get our money back. We purchased windows, they were delivered September 2020. 2 windows did not close and lock properly. We were told to open and close and lock them and give it some tome to work properly. In September 2021 a repairman came because the windows still did not close and lock. He said we may need a different part to resolve the problem. It is now September 2022 and the windows still dont work properly. We have called sever times in the past 2 weeks to request a repairman to fix our windows. We are always told someone will call us within 48 hours, no one ever calls. Winter is coming and we need these windows fixed. Also, a window was missed when we ordered the windows initially. We received that window in September 2021, but the frame was broken. Another window was ordered, and we were told they would call us when the replacement was in, and they would install it. We have never heard back on this window. After 2 frustrating years of dealing with Window Select, we are totally frustrated, and need some help getting this resolved..Initial Complaint

On 11/06/2021 We contracted for windows and doors to be installed no later than May of 2022. We paid $13,000 as a custom order deposit and were billed another $6779.00 by Green *** for a staging fund. We order windows from this company June 28th 2021. We also financed with the company using a 3rd party company called green sky, we got notified by the company our windows would be installed September 2021, the week prior they called and said they had a shipping issue and the windows were not in. They would call us with a new installation date. In the meantime we received bill statements from green sky about paying on our loan, which was confusing since we should not had to start paying until after windows were installed. After many phone calls to the company unable to leave message because the mailbox was full. We started paying green sky so our Loan would not go into default. We were found out during a attempt to reach the company the windows we order in June 2021 would be in by 14months and they would call to set up a date for installation. Again no phone call or update, since august 28 2022 despite the daily phone calls. I would reach a receptionist who had no idea on how to contact anyone else, they would just send a message and I would receive a phone call back within *****hr. I still did not receive a return call with an update. And today September 7, 2022 when I called the number was no longer a working number!Initial Complaint

I signed a contract with this *************** Rep ********************* on 2/4 to include a $1500 deposit on the $3000 project for a replacement patio door. Install to take place in May, but past. I called & was told August. I called today, & both *********************** *** location phones disconnected. Emailed ********************* from his business card as well as the general email with undeliverable messages. I have paper copies only of the signed contract, agreement, lien waiver & right to cancel paperwork. I'm looking for a full refund of my $1500 deposit.
