    12/13/21 Ordered a patio door from Window Select and paid up front/in full $3016.00 for door and installation on my credit card. Original date for install was March 2022, then changed to August 2022, now March 2023. Reason for delay that was given by Window Select was due to covid a supply issue. We cancelled and requested refund despite their cancellation fee. They indicated they will not waive the fee even though it is being requested for cancellation due to their non delivery/install of promised product. They won't refund us any of the money and have our credit card information. We have called multiple times and were told the finance department was backed up. We are unable to resolve this Window Select directly. A number of consumers continue to order from them and may not be aware of their pattern of taking money from folks, and never delivery the product. I feel they should not be allowed to operate.

    Re: Cancellation of Transaction/Request for Deposit Return (copy of notice sent to Window Select)The purpose of this letter is to give notice of cancellation for seven basement windows ordered on October 27, 2021 due to failure to failure to provide promised goods and services.At the time of the transaction, we were informed the windows would be installed within four months. To date, we have not received the windows or notification as to the delay. Upon reaching out the the company we were advised we would receive a call from customer service and have heard nothing. With the now known legal issues facing Window Select as a company, we do not wish to wait any longer for our windows and would like a refund for the deposit of $3,000 provided at the time of the transaction (copy provided).Please confirm receipt of this letter as termination of our transaction and deposit refund.     Ordered windows july of 2021, put a deposit down, scheduled install. Install canceled, no product. It's been over a year. I tried to cancel and get a refund of my 1100$ deposit 6mos ago and many times after. They tell me I would be responsible for 15% of the cost of the windows, each time I try to cancel since they are being manufactured. I call, no one calls back, I email, no one returns the email, I have even sent a ******** message. Still no help. I just want to cancel the order and get my money back. I am at a loss of what to do next. Please help thank you

    Nov '21 ordered windows, Dec '21 did walk through & confirmed windows to be on the build. We paid the deposit of $1624 & accepted the promotional financing. Original installation in Mar '22, date came & went with MANY phone calls & no resolution. Was advised that installation would take place in July '22. Time has come and gone with no resolution. We continue to call & their 3rd party phone messaging company they are using have an intro message that states you will have a phone call within ***** hours and still no contact back after 7 times over the last month. At this time, we have financing sitting out there with a 3rd party financing company (********) that we were told we would not have to pay on (confirmed this many times with Windows select) until the project was complete. Obviously the project wasn't complete & now the financing is about to come due & we are stuck with an account that if we don't pay (increases by thousands of dollars in interest) or we pay & have to fight later to try & get money back. We understood COVID manufacturing challenges, but with the lack of communication & no guarantee for the promised "30 year warranty" we just want our money back and our financing account closed without harming our credit! NO ONE RETURNS YOUR CALLS!

    I had windows installed with this company at my primary residence in June 2021 so I decided to order windows for my 2nd home on 9/3/21. We ordered 11 windows and gave the rep a personal check for $5000 as a deposit on the $10,000 contracted price. The original ETA was ***** weeks which would be around the end of the year. We received no updates so we called on 1/26/22 and was given a new ETA of March 2022. No updates again so we called on 5/9/22, in which I requested a *************** (received 6/4/22) and was given a new ETA of Sept 2022. Another email was sent on 5/17/22 prompted by issues found with the windows installed at my primary residence but also inquiring about the 2nd residence install date, to which I received no reply. As the new ETA is coming up, I attempted another call today since no one had called to schedule the install, and received a generic message that installs for orders in 2021 would take 14 months, which would be Nov 2022. It has been 12 months since the order was placed. As stated in my other complaint for my primary address, I hung up after waiting over 5 min.

    See related complaint against the financing company, Green **** Complaint: ******** We ordered windows 09/20/2021 thru Windows Select. They offered financing thru a company Green *** with a promotional offer of 1 year deferred interest. It is now 08/31/2022 and we still do not have windows. Windows Select indicated that they are 14 months behind. We have no installation date and do not feel that we owe $34,000 worth of windows in full by 09/20/2022 without them being installed. Windows Select indicated that that promotional dates of 1 year deferred interest start on the day of installation, but Green *** is indicating it is all due 09/20/2022. I am making a separate complaint to Windows Select since because I have left them several messages to call back regarding the financing and they will not call me back. Green *** indicated that they can not help me and we need to contact Windows Select about the financing.. Each is saying they have nothing to do with each other, but Windows Select said they use them for their financing. I would prefer complete cancellation of this transaction due to unprofessionalism handled by both companies. I went to he address of *********************************************************************** to talk to Windows Select directly, but the building was abandoned. I called Window Select 07/26/2022 and asked to have someone call me back regarding financing and have not call back. I called again 08/29/2022 and the girl on the phone said she will have someone call me back regarding financing, I asked to get a timeframe and she indicated that she could not give me a time frame. I still don't have a call. If I can not cancel the order completely, I would like the deferred interest date to be 1 year from the date of installation; whenever that *** be. Please contact my daughter ***************************** at ************ to discuss this since she is handling this matter on my behalf.

    We had placed an order to have Window Select replace five windows in our home on January 8th. We were given the time of install in early May from their sales manager ****. The end of April came around and no contact from Window Select. After several of weeks of trying to contact them, we finally got a response that our windows would be installed early June as they were having supply issues. **** came and still no contact as to when install would happen. we reached out once again and were now told our windows would be installed in August as back in January they pushed lead times to 6 months. We were never made aware of the increased lead time until 7 months later. We are at the end of August now and still no word as to when we will ever see our windows. If we were made aware of the extended lead times back in January, we would never have purchased their windows as we went with them as they promised that these windows would be installed prior to the birth of our daughter. We put a deposit down of $3,252.00 at the time of sale back in January and would like to have this amount refunded so we can go with a different contractor who can complete the work in a timely and professional manor.

    In April of 2021, my wife and I paid Windows Select $10,000 to install new windows at our home. To date, no work has been done on these windows and my frequent follow-*** for information are mostly ignored. When I do receive a response, I'm given a random date in the future where I can expect my windows. The date comes and goes and the cycle continues. In a June 17, 2022 email, I was told that "most customers experience a ***** month turnaround." This is not something I was made aware of and originally we were told the installation would take place next fall. It has now been over a year since we wrote the $10,000 check to Windows Select. On June 17 we were also told that "the manufacturer has an estimate completion of end of June" for my project. It is now August 22. I sent an email on June 24, August 1, August 2 and August 3 requesting updates. I have not received a response. I am disappointed as well as concerned that we will not have quality windows (again) for this coming winter. The vast majority of reviews talk about how this company is a scam, and I'm disappointed that I didn't read the reviews first and heed them. We need an immediate refund of our money so that we are able to buy windows. I also require written apology from the company.

    Hello,My name is *********************************. My husband **** and I purchased three doors from Window Select on 1/22/22. We paid in full $5500.00 as we saved some money on the doors by doing so. We were told that the first step was Window Select coming out and measuring the doors which they did and placed stickers inside the door frame. They said the second step was installation which would happen when the doors "came in" from the manufacturer sometime in April. To make a long story short we have called every few weeks since. I spoke with many different people every since April and were told that the doors weren't in yet, but once they were they would call and set up a time for installation. I spoke with them about my concerns about their business being in the news, and each time I called they told me not to worry that we were just waiting for the doors to arrive. May, June, July, came and went with no doors. I called again in the beginning of August, the phone number is now disconnected. We researched what to do next and are starting by emailing you. We are looking for a full refund and have receipts to prove our purchase. Window select has made no attempt to reach us or come to any resolution.
