Hello On May 18th 2021 I purchased internet# ********* it included the m18 fule pole saw, trimmer, headge trimmer and edger. Ever since day one I have had problems with little help or solutions. Everything worked well except for when weed wacking. The problem is the motor will shut down. At first I can wait 1sec than press the trigger and it will start working again but not for long about afte 30min it would stop working all together. I have called milwaukee **** 3 months after buying and they advised me to buy new batteries event tho the batteries I had were new. I bought new ones and the same problem. At this point I called milwalkee back and thay said it might be a safty because it was overheating. My concern was it was now damaging my new batteries and the motor. They advised me to send it in for repair this was adound 10 months after buying . I sent it to a local milwaukee certified repair shop. The people there were very friendly and it was in the fall so I did not mind the wait time. The motor came back with sticker# sv4461335 on it. It sat unused all winter and as I began to use it this year it is doing the same thing. I bearly ever use it but I need it to be reliable when needed. I have tried everything milwaukee told me to do and I am tired getting no help and spending my time and money trying to fix there problem.Business Response

I talked to them about the battery wiring being frayed at the plug to the battery in the back of my jacket. The rep said it would be under warranty and all I had to do was to send it in to them and they would take care of it. I gave the jacket to *************************** wrapped up on 3.9.2023 and they said they would send it in with the rest of their warranty stuff. The receipt had my name and phone number on it. Time went by and I didn**;t hear anything about it. I called *************************** and they said Milwaukee Tools had denied the warranty on it. The owner of *************************** talked to Milwaukee Tools and they would not stand by the warranty. So that is when I contacted Milwaukee Tools and they said they tried to contact *************************** many times. They had not heard from *************************** for many days and that is when they scrapped the jacket. Their policy is after 30 days they scrap the item. Why did Milwaukee Tools not try to contact me since they could not get a hold of ******************************************?I would like a replacement of my jacket.I would like another jacket, it was a gift from my son.Business Response

I drove almost 2 hours to get to the service centre in ****** to get my tools warrantied. I was told they would call me after **** business days. The tools were dropped off on 23/06/2023. My service order number is SV5260142. I have not received any updates. I try to call the customer service line and they never answer the phone. I have tried calling multiple times. I have also tried calling the service centre directly and they have only answered once and they told me I would get a call in 2 days. 2 days passed and still no phone call. I tried calling them back but no one picks up. Milwaukee ****** does not answer the phone calls either. I have tried so many times. I need my tools back repaired or replaced as soon as possible as they promised. I have attached the invoice below.ThanksBusiness Response

Hi, my name is *****************, an average guy that rarely leaves reviews or complains about purchases. My complaint involves a Milwaukee saw thats 1 year old and has had very light use. It is the most heavy duty and expensive sawzall Milwaukee makes. I went through milwaukees erepair warranty process and sent to them for repair. I purchased a roll of bubble wrap and double boxed it prior to shipping to them. I explained to them in problem description; the saw appears to operate normally until you start cutting. The blade stops moving (under load)but the motor is still operating. The saw was in like new condition. I received saw back from repair facility in a very large thin cardboard box(possible damage in shipping) Saw was laying on bottom of empty box(zero packing in very large box) I was immediately concerned, that the saw had been bouncing around concrete and metal floors during its shipping to me. We all know how important packing is to prevent damage to items being shipped. I needed saw the day I received, and was just happy to hopefully have my powerful saw back working. But before I could even plug it in to try I noticed the rubber covering half the saw was now misshaped and covering the orbital/recip selector switch. I couldnt even try it out in this condition. Its very tough rubber and I hesitated to work the selector switch through the rubber boot. Then once I did and plugged it in to test I found that it was operating the same as when I sent to them(Not repaired). I called Milwaukee and explained and the customer service person pulled order and said saw was inspected and repaired to Milwaukee specs. She wasnt concerned with any of my above concerns and set up a ***** pick up to send saw back to Milwaukee. Im running out of words and I appreciate your time! My reason for the complaint is Milwaukees warranty policy and the way they abused and shipped in an empty box. If tool is damaged from misuse they can deny future warranty. They should replace.Business Response

I've bought Milwaukee tools through out my life. I'm 62, and I have a Milwaukee 25' tape measure that their policy says "lifetime warranty". I've emailed them 2 different times, and they won't even reply. I'd like to file a complaint. If this is the way they do business, I'll go to a different brand of tools. Thank youBusiness Response

I have a tool that is under warranty (2 year period). I also have the original receipt from the purchase with the purchase date. The tool was being used as suggested and broke in the process. This tool was only used a handful of times before being broken. I sent the item in to the service department only to have the employee tell me it was out of warranty. I then proceeded to let him know that I have the receipt and he agreed that it was under warranty after obtaining this information. A few minutes later I received an email stating that I had to pay almost the full price of the tool for repair because the item was out of warranty. I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars switching all of my tools to this company. The last tool company that I switched from always honored their warranty hassle free.Business Response

I bought a new Milwaukee Propress tool March 2022 and it stopped working in less than a year. I took it back to the Milwaukee store to be fixed February 6, 2023 but after three weeks I was informed that I need to pay $515 for it to be fixed because of excessive water contamination. The tool is still under factory warranty but they informed me that the warranty is not approved. I don't think I should pay for this because I am a plumber and that's a plumbing tool. I work in water all the time and they should have it sealed and protected from water. This tool uses battery. I called them more than once and visited the store but to no avail. Can you assist me please? Thank you.Customer Answer
