Have a 2020 Husquavarna with a *** Briggs and Stratton motor that has no oil drain and in the *** manual mentions if you have a Just Check and Add oil engine you do not change oil. Went to the loser website at Briggs And Stratton and cannot find how to tell if I have a *** Just Check and Add motor and their site does not accept their model number. Never to purchase their **** again!Briggs & Stratton

I bought a brand new ferris zero turn with a Briggs and Stratton motor last summer. I put 20 hrs on it. This year I started it to use and it runs on one cylinder. I had to take it myself back to the dealership. It has a carburetor issue. Two weeks later still at the dealer waiting on part's from Briggs and Stratton. Who are still claiming supply chain issues. Last year I also bought a brand new bagger for it. I was told 4-6 weeks. 4 1/2 months later I received it. The whole time they claim Supply chain issues. I don't blame the dealership at all. Don't forget Briggs and Stratton now own ferris.Briggs & Stratton

You certainly have every right to feel the way you do. While we are still recovering from supply chain issues, there is no reasonable excuse to make up for the wait you had to wait for a part. The best thing you could do if any other issues occur is to get your unit back to an authorize Briggs and Stratton dealer.Review fromKevin M

Most unreliable engine I’ve ever used. It always is partially running or not at all and I have five lawnmowers with Briggs & Stratton engines in each one is from a different year with the same problems for eight years. We’ve been using this **** from them and they know it’s a lemon engine because every year I have the same problems that I have to send into the dealership with the same things or I fix it myself wish that your company would shut down because it is a **** company that just cheats people out of their money that you can’t even directly contact them I gotta leave a review on an opposite site to tell people how **** their engine isBriggs & Stratton

Push mower came with a stripped spark plug, unable to contact a real person at craftsman or briggs & stratton. Lawn mower is still under warranty but since I am unable to get any information on how to go about replacing my mower it is just like not having a warranty at all. Will never buy a Briggs & Stratton product again.Briggs & Stratton

"This review is for briggsstrattonstore.com, NOT briggsandstratton.com. I called Briggs & Stratton Store to receive help obtaining the correct part for a transfer switch. I provided the model and serial number for the customers transfer switch and the agent sent me a diagram to identify the part number. There were no pictures to use to verify the part looked the same but the agent assured me that it would be the correct part. The part arrived and was for a 100a transfer switch and not the 200a that I provided information for. I called customer service to start the return process. The part is in the box they sent and has never left the office. I was told I could return the part for a 20% restocking fee and I pay shipping. First I would need to send pictures proving the part was in new and uninstalled condition in its original packaging. I did so and then received an email saying we would be unable to return the part since it was an electrical component. The agent knew full well what part it was when telling me we could return it. Additionally the part was ordered based on an agents information from the beginning. They now are giving me a different part number that costs twice as much and wanting me to purchase this new part blindly as well while keeping an expensive part we have no use for. It is bad enough they wanted to charge a restocking fee for their mistake but this is ridiculous. Might want to remove the slogan Fit right the first time from your page.Briggs & Stratton

I called to make certain my newly purchased M230 lawnmower is under warranty, I was confident on the ground that it has not been a year from date of purchase. I was told it was & I was provided referrals to specific service centers that service Briggs & Stratton small engines under warranties. Ultimately, I paid for carburetor service/ tune-up $90 not to mention the distance to Anaheim I had to drive to which the service center was located. I filed a complaint but never got a response from Margerie pertaining to the no start issue I was experiencing with this new lawnmower that's only been used 2-3 times.Briggs & Stratton

There is a 2-year warranty time frame on this product for manufacture defects and/or workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by improper use or abuse, improper maintenance or repair, normal wear and tear, stale or unapproved fuel, or debris in the fuel. For warranty consideration, we do recommend you take the unit to your local service dealer for a full diagnosis of the problem. They can complete any warranty work and submit a claim for any defects found in the manufacturing of the product. You may be asked for a deposit to cover the cost of the analysis. If a manufacturing defect is found the deposit will be reimbursed. If it is not a warrantied issue the deposit will be applied to the repair. Another email will come from ************************** you may respond back to that email with more questions or concerns.Review fromLee D

For the most part great product and reasonable support thanks to third parties but Briggs and Stratton's primary focus appears to be on Wall Street numbers, playing the merger and acquisitions game while customer support gets mere lip service, if that. Key parts info is conveniently deleted to the extent you can't even get part numbers for older high dollar products which may no longer be available from B&S. Why not at least hand the designs over to one of the Pacific rim countries who continually demonstrates their hunger for new business and customer support. We, the U.S. is losing the game just because of attitudes like this. Brush off the needs of a few because it may not be especially profitable at that moment in time and the bean counters focused on short term profits could care less about losing a customer forever. I grew up with B&S. I loved them. But I have become very disappointed. There's no way to contact them. They aren't listening. I feel sorry for their dedicated engineering and production staffs who are more than capable yet hamstrung by strategies meant to please the shareholders and customers be damned. Look at what Boeing management did to their loving world cramming the MAX down our throats. With B&S it'll be more like death from a million cuts. They'll wither into the dust but not before richly rewarding those whose nearsighted vision see only the short term bottom line.Briggs & Stratton

Bought a Riding mower with a Briggs and Stratton engine on July 5, 2022 and got 6.5 hours use out and then the engine threw a rod. Took it to a local dealer and after disassembly they contacted Briggs and Stratton and the company declined the warranty. Very disappointed in this product I would not recommend it anyone. To sum it up it cost me an average of $500.00 an hour to operate. Not upset with the dealer according to them they did all they could to help out.Briggs & Stratton

Not GOOD! My 80 year old dad bought a mower from a local dealer. Carried the mower back two times with a problem. Then the third time they went in depth and found out the engine was failing due to a inside machining problem. The service manger was over friendly and on our side to help us out because they had already had this issue come up before on the same engine. Come to find out, Briggs and Stratton ******************* declined it and blamed it on my dad and will not pay for it. So I would not recommend anybody buying a piece of equipment with a Briggs and Stratton engine. I am not upset with the local dealer, they went above the call of duty and said they would give my dad a new mower.Briggs & Stratton

Please be advise that our authorized dealers are our eyes and ears when completing any warranty consideration. The product does hold a 2yr warranty from the date of purchase.
