I have been a yearly customer for over a decade and have never been disappointed . Occasionally some bulbs or tubers not up to par . They are always accommodating with refunds or replacements. I leave on a main highway and peeps have stopped to take photos. So Im not the only one appreciating the beauty this company supplies . They free have sales and specials so fun to try new items I might not have tried in my brutal weather conditionsHolland Bulb Farms

Great experience with Holland Bulb Farms! I received 8 beautiful, healthy amaryllis bulbs & potted them right away. Although they did not bloom for the Christmas holidays, all but one are blooming or about to bloom now for Valentine’s Day! They are spectacular:) I have to make sure I fertilize and/or chill the bulbs later this year so a couple will bloom for Christmas. I would not hesitate to purchase from HBF again.Holland Bulb Farms

4 starsHolland bulbs farms provides quality bulbs at a reasonable price if you buy them early. I have had some problems with clearance items, but as they are live plants it is not surprising that the clearance stock that has been sitting waiting for shipment is lower quality. These items are often deeply discounted and they have a pretty good policy about replacing items that are damaged or given store credit. I have only had good interactions with their customer service. They have a fairly wide selection and overall I generally think it is a good company. I am a repeat customer.Review fromSusan H

I've ordered several times over the years as I've continued to develop the landscaping on our property. It's always been affordable and the few times that some bulbs didn't make it, they were promptly replaced free of charge. I love the wide selection of bulbs available at HBF and often order from them. Much if what they carry is not available elsewhere, and the bulbs are healthy and of a nice size. The pricing is also good. I would have given HBF 5 stars except that I have has instances of mislabeled allium bulbs on more than one occasion. This is obviously possible with as large an inventory as they offer, and they do offer a resolution process. However. I have not always been able to resolve this because sometimes allium bulbs will grow, but not flower, the first season making it possible to identify the species, but not the cultivar. All in all however HBF is a good company to do business with and the bulb vendor I order from most often.Holland Bulb Farms

ordered 4 dozen daffodil bulbs. they arrived squishy, moldy and rotten. I contacted the company and was told "no problem. we can give you a refund or merchandise exchange. send a photo of bulbs." I did send a photo of 50 of the bulbs, and then two days later got an email saying "we need more photos, and by the way your guarrantee has expired. it only is good for 5 days." so no refund of any kind . I have requested a call back , but I would never use this company. daffodil bulbs should be very firm and heavy and fresh. you should not be able to dent them with your fingertip. these are absolutely awful.Holland Bulb Farms

Hello,I'm sorry to hear you are not satisfied with your experience. After reviewing your previous communication, I do see you did submit images of a small portion of the items you received. As part of our Grow Guarantee, we do ask for images of all items to be emailed to us within 5 business days of arrival. Since the items are perishable, we do need to keep a timeline on when we are able to accept images. Please also keep in mind if the items were purchased at a brick and mortar location, all items would need to be returned for a refund or replacement. We don't ask for the items to be returned, just the images. I did read through the replies offered by our customer service team and I do see they did send our policy for the 5 day timeframe for future reference but did also let you know that once we receive more images, we'd be happy to find a solution. Although we offer our Guarantee on our website and also on the back of the packing slips included in the boxes we do know most of our customers don't read it. That's why we like to still offer a solution, as in your case, even if it's outside of the required timeline. However, we do like to educate our customers then of the policy for any future concerns. As stated in the last email we had sent to you, we are more than happy to still find a solution once the additional images are sent. *** *. 1-10-2025 I ordered an amaryllis to be shipped to my friend, a surprise for her birthday. I was disappointed with what she received from Holland bulb Farms. It was supposed to arrive planted in soil in a pot and starting to sprout. READY TO GIFT. What a joke. It arrived dumped out in the shipping box. It was a mess. I called to complain, they wanted pictures. We sent them. I called again because they didnt respond.Those pictures werent enough, they wanted more pictures. I said not again. I was already embarrassed because this was a gift. First time ordering from them and it was the last. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. After reading other reviews about Holland bulb farms, they seem to reply to every customer with the same lame excuse.Holland Bulb Farms

Thank you so much for your review. We do apologize you are not happy with the Gift Ready Amaryllis purchased on our site. After reviewing the communication, I do see the recipient did send images of the box and the soil that had spilled from it. I certainly do apologize. We do hope our carriers take the time to handle the packages with care during transit but in the unfortunate situations they aren't, we do require the images of the actual product to be able to file a claim with the carrier. After receiving the initial email, we did ask images of the bulb and the actual item sent, not just the packaging so we could further dig into what occurred during shipping. The second image we received was the contents of a heat pack we send to keep the bulbs from freezing in transit so we did have to ask for an image once again of the actual item. After receiving the images, we were able to determine there was no damage to the bulb or the pot and did advise to give it time to grow. As mentioned earlier, I certainly apologize the item arrived to the recipient with soil spilled from transit. We do try to do our best when packaging to prevent soil spilling as we do have a lid attached but unfortunately, when shipping live plant material, there is always a risk of some soil spilling from the pot. As the bulbs and pot were in tact and there was plenty of soil in the pot for successful growth, we did advise to give it 6 weeks to sprout but after that time, the bulb isn't growing as expected, please reach out and we'd be happy to find a solution at that time.Review fromLaura B

I ordered 10 Amaryllis bulbs on December 5 to be given as Christmas gifts. I spent $139 on these. They sent them via **** and the package was lost. When I called on Dec. 19, I was told I would get a replacement shipment and this time they would be shipped via *** Ex. I received a notification that they were shipped by **** again so I will not be getting these by Christmas. I will never order from this company again. Had I checked this website first, I would have known better. :(Holland Bulb Farms

We assure you, we do everything we can to ensure our shipping requests are met if possible. We do however, state on our website delivery requests are not guaranteed. Our shipping department chooses the best option for each package when shipping and in your case, **** was the best option. After reviewing the replacement order, it was delivered via **** on 12/24/24 safely. I ordered bulbs from this company and they had firstly forgotten to send my half my order to which I had to go asking for. When they did finally send the second half they failed to read or relay my delivery instructions. I explained at checkout that I needed the package to be left inside to avoid theft and the door code was given. Holland Bulbs did not take any initiative to see that their customers packages are safely delivered. When contacting customer support they offered no assistance or try to remedy the situation.Holland Bulb Farms

We certainly do our best to pack orders in full and unfortunately, since we do not use automation to pick our orders, our team can sometimes make mistakes or miss items, I certainly do apologize. This is certainly not intentional and we generally are not aware items were missed until our customers notify us. Once notified, we do our very best to ship those missing items as quickly as possible. Per the information found in the field where delivery instructions are entered, it does state "Delivery Driver Instructions Not Guaranteed." The notes left in that field are only seen by our team and should include notes for us to use a specific carrier or to request a ship date. Those notes are printed on our packing slips that are inside the boxes and are not seen by delivery drivers which is why we did include that notation right on our site. I do apologize. Once the package leaves are facility and is in the hands of the carriers, we are not able to relay those requests. We do always recommend contacting carriers and add any specific delivery notes with them as they do have the capability to relay those directly to the drivers. I do apologize but if packages are stolen after delivery, our company is not held liable if the delivery was made and proof of delivery is available. We do recommend filing a police report if a theft did occur. Thank you and we do appreciate your understanding.
