      I have been banking with Landmark Credit Union for over 10 years and have been mostly happy. Because of my pleasure of banking with them, I convinced my business partner to change banks and do our business banking with Landmark Credit Union. We are disappointed in their policies regarding business transactions. My primary goal for filing this complaint is because of an employee at the ********* location on Main St. **** does not belong in customer service. She is very rude and condescending. There have more than a few occasions of her behavior, which have led me to file this complaint.

      This VIP SAVINGS account has apparently been hit with different fees from the credit union to steal my money. Why would there need to be an activity on a savings account? This is not a checking account, how is ******************** allowed to charge fees to remove MY money from MY savings account? After my loan was paid off April 2022 the total account was $66.87, after a 1 year balance at this amount they started charging monthly fees to steal my money. Today the account is only $32.00. I have called and explained several times that I just want this small amount returned to me and I will close my account. They have been unwilling to work with me. I find their actions disgraceful and predatory to low amount savings accounts.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, the fact that I needed to go to these extreme steps and MULTIPLE phone calls and being left of hold for who knows how long is reprehensible. All of this after I took out a loan with you and paid THOUSANDS of dollars in interest. How you treat your customers is disgusting and I will make sure that potential customers know how poorly they can expect to be treated. Shame on all of you.

      Deposited check for $21,293 on 10/21/23 into my checking account that had a 5 day hold. I understand that completely. I need the funds desperately and its now 10/28/23 and I still dont have access to the money.

      An ACH charge was made to my checking account with **********************. The charge was from a company that I had revoked consent to charge my account, both verbally and in writing. Additionally, this company submitted an ACH charge for an amount that was never agreed to in the first place and this charge is fraudulent. I contacted Landmark Credit Union for help in resolving this. LCU charged overdraft fees to my account for an illegitimate transaction. They refused to refund the fees, and refused to allow me to dispute the transaction unless I paid them an additional $56. Since the account was overdrawn, 100% of the overdraft amount being Landmark fees, they refused to do anything and allowed the company to continue trying to charge my account. I believe ********************** is acting in bad faith by refusing me to pursue my legally allowed course of action to remedy fraudulent charges to my checking account and that they are doing this to continue charging me fees on unauthorize charges even after being informed the company does not have consent to make these charges.

      1. Your canned response is untrue, and Landmark Credit Union never contacted me through any method. Your statement that you made contact is a blatant lie.
      2. Landmark Credit Union has stolen hundreds of dollars from me and this is still not resolved. I hope your potential customers see this and avoid doing business with your company. 
      3. Landmark has failed to respond to my complaint in context and has so far done nothing to attempt to remedy this issue.

      I took out a car loan from ******* ******************* They told me ***************************** was the cosigner. It shows both names o n all of our paperwork. I moved. For nearly 6 years it has been on auto withdrawal from my checking account and showing up on my credit score. Recently I discovered they had decided I didn't have car insurance. I did. They began charging extra per month and documenting I have been late trashing my credit score. At the time, I thought it was a glitch. Since then I have provided proof of insurance. They have only partially reimbursed me. I bought a new car financed with ************ They paid off the remaining $2,000. They owe me the over payment. When I called they stated my social security number was under the cosigner name. They refused to refund me. Not only do I not feel at fault, I believe it to be illegal to pay fees for thier perceived problem. I also am concerned they have persons identity mismatched. I definitely feel owed what over paid on the loan. I also have proof of payment 100%.

      I took out a boat loan. Of course they want to see that it's insured. I had it insured immediately and had State Farm send them proof of insurance. Then letter started coming in telling me I need to verify. So, I sent the letter to my insurance company and State Farm verified insurance. The 1st letter Landmark sent me said I didn't have insurance on the boat and the motor (insured sep.) When my insurance company sent the verification I then got a letter from landmark telling me the boat was covered but not the motor. I saw the proof of insurance that was sent, ITS RIGHT THERE, IT SAYS BOTH ARE INSURED including hull # and motor serial number. Now, you send me a bill for $5000 for insurance added onto my monthly payment. Someone has lost their mind. That's insane. And, I have had insurance on the boat and motor since 5/13/23. I see this as shared responsibility between Landmark and their 3rd party. Landmark uses a 3rd party to collect the data which is clearly making the mistake, I believe. But, Landmark needs to double check this stuff. And I am not paying this $5000 in insurance charges when I have done nothing wrong. I talked to the 3rd party and they said they need to have my insurance agent call them during business hours. I said, they tried at 11:44 a.m. and you were so busy you are calling us back at 6:45 at night when they are closed. So, I asked for a direct email so I could prove that I have insurance and she said I just have to send it to the company email address. Not good customer service. I can't even show them what they need???? Then it take 3-5 days to load on my account and then I'm sure Landmark will continue to tell me I owe them extra money. I called Landmark and they told me to just call the 3rd party. They can't do anything. What??? You are telling me I don't have something and I can show you. But wait, no you can't. Call some other company!!I want this insurance moved from my account

      On around mid December 2018, my wife's wallet was stolen along with her debit card and her Driver's license. A police report was filed, debit card was cancelled and reissued, supposedly a fraud alert was placed on our Checking account and her Identification. A few months later we started to see large cash withdrawals of thousands of dollars which were being taken out of our checking account. Our checking account became overdrawn several times incurring fees after fees which to this day I have not recovrered from Landmark. I finally reached head of security and I flat out asked how can you allow someone that is BLACK to withdraw CASH out of the drive through with just an Drivers license with someone who was WHITE.They apologized and said we should close our account and move to a different bank.As I tried to open a new account, I find out ******************** put our checking account into Chexsystems which prevents you from opening other checking accounts.I contacted Landmark Credit union again about it and they said I needed to pay all the fees, I believe at the time it was close to $660-$680.00 We would like that paid back plus all necessary fees and interest owed

      Went to the bank on 9/8/23 to go over 6months of transactions with "shoo" and she stated i could come in the following week or Saturday for the exact time stamps on these fraudelent activities, came in on that Saturday and I asked ******** the Branch manager if someone went into my things while I stepped outside cuz my papers where all dishoveled when I returned of 2 minutes and she said she could not show me. I then 9/9/23 in the middle of the night after several attempts of emailing the webites of a big discrepancy in my money market in 2022 i called and customer service said my password wasnt my password!! NONESENSE.. So i went in on 9/12/23 and "sho" wouldnt come to the window and the teller said the branch manager said to get these time stamps on ALL fraudulant activities i Now had to pay and it would take a couple days and they would call me. I find it all very weird, unprofessional , inhumane, I have legal rights, civil rights, a union member rights etc. BANK HAS ALL MY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS. 1/9/23- 6/14/23 about $2000. and my money market in 2022 two hits,one close too 11, 000 and some change and ***** roughly. Im still now waiting on these statements which I NEVER RECEIVED REGULARY IN THE MAIL and COMPLAINED about but now i have to pay....

      Ive already filed one complaint which it should be in your files. I didnt get a chance to respond to the message. I got it late but to answer your question no, my problem is not resolved because the fraud department now says that the signatures on my *** are not the same, the *** is a legal document notarized by legal notary and now theyre saying my husband signature on both forms are not the same signature. I have done everything this bank is asked me to do to access my husbands account and steal ** getting treated like a common criminal and from the fraud department wanted me to have a new power of attorney document, signed by my husband, who I remind you is in the federal prison system. I called the federal prison where hes at and they said no whoever told me that they can have a legal document sent there to sign and sent back to me notarized is full of c*** They do not allow that in the federal system. I try to explain that to ****, and she tried to say I was wrong, I have my husband on recording from the jail phone stating his name the date the reason for this recording and to confirm everything that *** said from the beginning me and my husband are fed up. He is his bank account is now negative because the bank wouldnt freeze his account when I asked him to until my documents went through so that $7000 that we wont get back from yall , now Im taking off the account because the fraud department at landmark credit union. Cant tell the difference between an actual legit legal document notarized by a notary and a fake one. I went to two separate attorneys they looked over my ***. They said its just fine and if I want to seek legal action my husband informed me that if this is not resolved this week then we will look into legal actions I sent the recording on Friday so lets see how long it takes this time
