      Tried to order 2 bottle offer of Pool Perfect Phos Free. Went through process. Received confirmation through PayPal and all seemed fine. A few hours later received an email saying my order cancelled. Hmmm. I called!Representative checked all data and couldnt confirm a reason except a possible fraud order. Strange. So we went to redo the order over phone. Still wouldnt go through. Credit rating is over 800. Hmm. I asked to talk to supervisor. She wouldnt come to phone. I guess my account and order werent worth her effort. Now will have to watch my account to see that all will be cleared and NOT charged. So my complaint is: customer service is inadequate. Do not oder anything! Try another company. PS BBB Should allow a “no star” rating.

      Very unsatisfied. Do NOT order a solar cover from this company!! The cover we ordered in May of 2021 and sent in a complaint in August of 2023 that the cover is falling apart, all around the edges and seams. They would only give us $20 off the price of a new cover and then they turned around and were going to charge us $20 to ship this item. Seriously? The cover that we ordered was supposed to have a 7 year warranty, and it's been 27 months, in central *********, where you can maybe use your pool 4 months/year and this is all they will cover? WOW. This was the Micro bubble supposed to be the best they had. I call B.S.We have a salt water pool and don't use chemicals of any kind other than salt. We also have a reel system and the cover and reel are completely removed from the pool area and placed on a custom made bracket and then covered with a cover to reflect the sun. I don't know what more we could have done to protect their "7 year" solar cover!Absolutely ridiculous! Will NEVER. EVER. SHOP. THERE. AGAIN!!

      I believe Doheny's does not stand behind their products. I purchased a pool pump in June of 2022 which worked well for the remainder of that year (closing the pool for winter in September). The pool was re-opened in June of 2023 and the pump performed well for about 2 months. In very early August of 2023 the pump began making a whining noise and it grew louder and louder each day. I purchased another pump (another $280) and installed it and the replacement seems fine. I really thought Doheny's would at least provide a partial credit on the new pump since it really had only run for 5 1/2 months but they simply said it was out of warranty. If I had a dis-satisfied customer and they were willing to give me another shot, I would at the very minimum offer a discount. This, in my opinion is not very good customer ********************** and they will no longer be receiving any of my business, I would suggest before you purchase anything from this company, take note.

      Company states via website and phone that they have and provide technical support for products sold.When called customer ********************** representative states they dont have technical support for the product purchased. (Pool pump). Very disappointed in companies response and failure to honor its promise support and warranty policy. Would not recommend this company and will not purchase any products from them. Consumer beware. Other retailers offer the same type of products at better or comparable prices. Shop around and find an better retailer.

      I purchased 7 boxes of pool paint. I used 4 of them. I then tried to return them to the company. Right off they told “ you have to pay for the return”. So I tried. First fed ex, they said they wouldn’t because it was “hazardous material “. I explained the boxes have never been opened and it came from FedEx. So I tried UPS and they send since it was sent FedEx it has to go back FedEx. These boxes haven’t been opened. So now Dohney’s is saying that I can get a return label from them and they won’t take the 3 boxes back because it’s over 30 days. This is crazy if you are using this company. And for a small business like mine $500 is a lot of money sitting in my work shop.

      I was guaranteed when I ordered a product on Friday, 4 August, that the package would delivered on Saturday, 5 August. This order was an attempt to correct an error Doheny’s had made in a previous order that week. I verified with the agent that it would be a next day delivery and was assured it would be delivered on Saturday, 5 August. Then I received an email order confirmation saying the order was confirmed, and included the delivery address. Several hours later I received a phone call from Doheny’s, wanting to “verify my address.” I had just received 5 packages to my address and asked why they needed to confirm it. The customer service agent said that it was not showing in their system. Then I was told that since the address had to verified so late in the day that the package would not be delivered “next day” as promised. The call to “verify my address” was a deception. It was a way of justifying that they had NO INTENTION of making the delivery a “next day” as promised. Doheny’s had just made multiple deliveries to my address the same week. Every transaction I’ve had with Doheny’s has been deceptive. I’ve been lied to and hung up on by customer service. They CANNOT BE TRUSTED. Today, Sunday, FEDEX is indicating that the package will not be delivered until Tuesday 8 August. Doheny’s’s has a consistent pattern of dishonesty and deception.

      Horrible company! They do not honor what thier website advertises. I needed to order a part for my pool pump as it is leaking water. On thier website it says next day delivery so I decided to order from them as Amazon was 3 days to recieve. When I got my confirmation for my order it stated my estimated delivery was 7 days from when ordered. When I called and asked them about this they said it was a vendor ship item so there was nothing they could do even though website said next day. They did tell me I could return it when it arrived but would have to pay a 20% restocking fee. So now due to their false advertising I am stuck with a leaking pool for at least a week unless I order another one from amazon and return this one when it comes and pay the restocking fee. Can someone explain how the is ethical for a company to advertise one thing on their website and then not honor it or even try to help the customer?? (I also have a screenshot of website stating next day delivery)

      Bought a brand new pump which after install was faulty (when we were told to order a month or so earlier due to them going out of stock so quickly). By the time summer came and we installed, it was out of warranty according to them. Told us if we pay to ship (the price to send a 150# pump) they will evaluate and let us know. Meanwhile let the pool turn green mid summer. Ridiculous and very unhappy. Will NEVER buy anything from them ever again! BACK YOUR PRODUCTS!

      DO NOT ORDER FROM DOHENY'S! Ordered a solar cover in April 2022 and used it for that summer. I opted for the "best" one with an 8-year warranty. When we were putting it on the pool in 2023, the deep end had many tears, both along the seams and in the middle, and disintegrated when pulled one way or the other. There were small pieces of the cover and bubbles floating in the pool. The cover was used ONE YEAR, was stored properly indoors over the winter and was not exposed to any kind of abnormal weather conditions or unusual amounts of chemicals. At the end of the year we let it dry, rolled it up and stored it on a high shelf in our garage where we’ve stored every other cover we’ve had for the last 20 years. Nothing that we or Mother Nature did would have caused the shredding and disintegration of the cover. However, Doheny's states that all this damage is not covered under the warranty and refuses to even partially refund or replace the cover.

      I'm disputing my charge with my bank I ordered 3" chlorine tabs.Fedex held them halfway through shipping saying they would be held at the location and to contact the shipper. My only option was to pick them up(4 hours one way).Doheny's offered no help and said I needed to call FedEx I'll spend thousands anywhere EXCEPT DOHENY'S.
