      This company sells KNOWN terrible products (solar covers)!!Balanced pool with low amount of chemicals. Average California weather. No reason this solar cover should disintegrate by the second year! VERY POOR QUALITY. I bought 3200 clear cover that lasted one year, filed warranty claim and got 2400 blue cover as alternative. That also only lasted one year. Filed third claim for same cover and that also lasted only one year! I'm seeing a pattern. And despite 8 year warranty, Doheny's prorates to 0% coverage after 6 years and makes you pay shipping on every claim. Total scam!! Be warned you will repurchase a solar cover every one or two years with this company!!

      We order chemicals from this company , after 10 days and already being billed we contacted the company and they said our order was damaged by the shipper. Would we like to re order well since we paid for it I guess so . Customer ********************** did not seem to care and said we may receive our order tomorrow, or the next day or the next . Wow what poor service , if we did not call what would they have done nothing Im sure.

      I've never had such a bad experience purchasing a product online. The product came with a broken lateral. They then wanted me to send the WHOLE unit back. Luckily my pool guys were able to find a new one and saved the day. But wait, they take the plastic off the base of the unit and there's a HUGE crack in the filter. So, I call on Monday and they say they are going to send a replacement back. By Wednesday, it still says label created in *****. So, I call again and the foreigner that I speak too says they will send another replacement out. Never got an email with tracking. I'm thinking there is no way they could not send it twice so I wait till Friday and nothing comes. I then call again and finally get a customer service agent in the US. She was somewhat sympathetic and nice. She then sends out another replacement, calls me back with the tracking number, and I receive a new tracking number in my email. This is Friday. All weekend the tracking still says label created. Now I'm really starting to get pissed. My pool is turning green and we can't use it in the middle of summer. So, I called her again yesterday and she apologized and gave some excuse. They then say they are sending out another replacement and send me the tracking number. ONCE AGAIN, it still says label created almost 24 hours later. I will NEVER shop with this company again. I now have to order from Leslies and then when I get that box (because the other one was thrown out) and return this defective product. If you go and read their BBB reviews (which I should have done first), you would never shop with this company again either.

      I wish my review wasn't similar to everyone else's but unfortunately Doheny's has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. We received a broken filter and were told 4 times now that they will be reshipping a new one. This is three weeks of not being able to use our pool in the dead of summer. I know this review won't make it any better but hopefully someone else will make sure to not purchase from them. I cannot believe they are still in business with these reviews and the lack of training of their customer service reps. We thought we had finally gotten someone who cared and of course, Giselle dropped the ball as well. She promised it would be shipped and here we are through another weekend and no shipment of the item we paid for. Just a true disgrace of a "Family Owned" business.

      Dohenys is not standing by their name brand equipment. May of 2023 I purchased a pool pump I opened my pool this year and the pump was leaking . I removed the pump and sent it back to dohenys , 103.00 dollars for shipping out of my pocket. I received the new pump 2 weeks later and installed it. The pump worked for almost 2 months and is now leaking in the same place. I called dohenys and they said the new pump goes back to the original pumps warranty and that it is no longer under warranty .

      Hello,While it is true that the manufacturer's warranty on this product is a one-year warranty that dates back to the original purchase date. However, I do see that in the time this review was submitted a return label has been issued for an exception to accept the defective unit back for a warranty replacement. We do apologize that you have experienced this issue a second time.

      I should have looked at the reviews before I did business with this company. I purchased Ramuc Expoxy paint to renovate my pool with, and they didn't send me enough paint. When I called their customer service, first I got people overseas who had no idea about what I was talking about, or how to work on a pool, and when I finally got Hope, who assured me that she was a supervisor this company in the US, she told me that no one in the company had a pool, so they had no idea about the issues I was having, and I would have to call Ramuc. Never again!

      We do apologize; however, the terms of our return policy are clearly detailed on our website and catalog.  The shipping is the customers responsibility when the reason for return is that the Customer is not satisfied. When we were contacted regarding the return, we were informed that you were just not satisfied with the pump's performance with no indication of the unit being defective. As the product is not in new and unopened condition and has in fact been used the restocking fee would be applied if the product was still in resalable condition.  We are capable of issuing a label under our account at a discounted rate of $25.  Otherwise, you would need to arrange the return on your own accord.  Once returned, all pumps are tested for defect if the unit was found to be defective these fees would not be applied.  At this time, we have not received the product back as a return.

      I was TDY and I ordered a 16 x 32 liner and they sent a 18 by 38. The business that put it in for me while I was gone trusted they sent the right size and by that time they were too late. I emailed them and they said I have to contact someone else! I wish there was a way to hold these companies responsible but they are just too big. All we can do is warn people this company doesn’t stand behind good customer service and I will never order from them again. I hope if you do your research you pick someone different. Crazy when talking to the company they said “yea we have been to places that order from then it is not the first time”.

      I was a returning customer as I've ordered a winter cover and a pool cleaner. I ordered a solar cover and when we started putting it on the pool we realized it was the wrong size (my fault) so we folded it back up and put in box in the original box to ship back and get the correct size. They have a 30 day return so I figured I would get docked a little bit since it was right at 30 days when I was sending it back. But it's not free returns so I had to pay $52.00 to have it shipped back but I thought getting back some is better than none. Received an email that I would not be getting a return since it was not in new/unused condition but if I want it returned back to me I would need to send them a prepaid shipping label. So I would have to spend another $52.00!! I will never order from them again.

      On June 22 I placed an order for a new sand filter and pump. A 5 gallon tub of chlorinating tablets were delivered 2 days later. I call the 800 number on JUNE 27th and speak to a woman who tells me she will expedite my pump and filter. I immediately receive the label to send BACK the tablets, but no confirmation about my new tracking number. I call back the next day JUNE 28th, this gentleman tells me that my order was shipped and I might receive it Saturday, BUT couldn't provide me with a tracking number and told me to call back 2-4 hours for this info. I called again today, no one can tell me anything, Cesar, the gentleman from today tells me that the past TWO reps I spoke with LIED to me...apparently Doheny's doesn't expedite orders (which the first lady told me she would) and the second phone call said my pump/filter was already shipped and if I would call back in 2-4 hours they would give me a tracking number. Cesar, the latest customer rep, on JUNE 29th still couldn't provide me with a tracking number and apologized for everyone else for lying to me, and blamed the warehouse for being closed. I find this appalling, you guys have the worst customer service of any company that I have dealt with. Cesar said he was a supervisor, but was probably lying, just like the rest of the representatives I have talked to in the past 4 days. There was no offer of compensation which is also terrible customer service. I will be making this complaint on every platform I can find. It is ok for you to have $349.79 of my money and then lie to me several times, then it is ok for me to tell the public what they are actually dealing with.
