      Dohenys cancelled my order while it was en route to me, then charged a restocking fee when they got the back from *****. I was never notified of anything from Doheny and only I recalled their mess because I kept contacting them.

      Ordered, a 1.5 horsepower pool pump. I received on June 1 a box with 4 bottles of pool clear. Called and was told that there was a mistake at the warehouse, to keep the pool clear and I would receive the right product on Monday. Well I never got a confirmation regarding this information so I emailed you. Got a message that I had received my order on June 1 with a picture of it sitting on my porch. However it was a picture of the box with pool clear. After more emails I decided to see if the pump arrived on Monday, no pump! So I called again last night and was told there was a mix up at the warehouse, again, and the pump was shipping and I would get an email last night or this morning with the tracking number. No email again. I called again today and was told the warehouse had a problem with the order number. I said if I did not get an answer by today I was going to cancel my order. Was put on hold and when the person returned told me that someone from the home office would call me in 3 to 4 hours. I told them if I did not get the call I would cancel the order. So this is where we are now. Never received a call. Have asked for a refund and the are now saying they are looking for the cancellation request. I really do not know how the BBB can give this company an A+ rating after all the bad reviews I have been reading. ******'s will do anything to take your money and then give you a ration of s--t. If not I am out of almost $200.

      Cheap products that dont last - foreign call center - you cannot understand them nor do they even understand what your trying to explain to them -If there are any Dohenys left in this Family business they should be ashamed at the products / service and future of this company-

      Ordered super shock from them never again it was like I never put it in when I would check water for it wouldnt even turn the color at all worthless wont buy from them ever again wasted $206 on 48 pounds of old no good shock and I have had our pool for over 20 years and know what Im doing everytime took our water test to be checked they would say there is no shock in water yes there was but it was worthless !!!! Watch out buyers!!!

      Misleading adds. Do not rely on honesty in their adds. Next day delivery does not mean the next day. It means they might generate a **** label. But ordered on 26th of May and now might get on the 31st of May. Tried to talk with customer service. No help. Could have went to local pool supply and had my pool up and running.

      Bought a brand new Heyward Navigator pool cleaner. Took it out of the box and immediately had trouble with it. It would stick to the walls and would not move to clean pool. This was the fourth Navigator I have owned and never had a problem before, so I know how it should work. Contacted Doheny's customer service department and they simply passed the buck and said it was a manufacturer problem and not there's. Told me I had to contact Heyward. I told them I would gladly send it back to them to solve the problem. Again they wanted nothing to do with helping me and again passed the buck to Heyward even though I purchased it directly from Doheny's and not Heyward. So they took my money and ran. Shame on them. So beware, their are so many other reputable pool suppliers out there who will gladly help you when you have a problem. Not Doheny's.

      I ordered a 50 LB pail of 3" tabs. They came all broken possibly from the shipping but I don't think so. They looked like they were dumped in and most likely were this condition when packaged. I returned asking for my money back. This is where things all went wrong. I was leaving on a long vacation shortly after the return with my neighbor watching my home. Doheny instead of reimbursing me for the return they sent another pail. My neighbor phoned me that there was a heavy package at my door that he could not pick up. I immediately called Doheny asking for them to pick up the pail that was not reordered by me. They said they needed a return shipping label put on the package.... How am I going to do this away from home?? This package sat on my door step for 3 weeks!!! I was worried that someone would notice this and cut my vacation short to come home and take care of this. ***** met me at the door (timing) and picked up the unwanted pail. Here is where it gets worse even though Doheny acknowledged their mistake and also acknowledged the return of the send pail they wanted a ***** return shipping label. OK this is the label they sent ***** not me. This company will do anything to keep you frustrated and I sincerely feel I would have never received my money back if it was not for getting *****l involved. These negative reviews are no joke. This is a very bad company with terrible products and NO customer service. If you are reading this don't get involved for you may be their next victim!

      My order has been lost twice now and not shipped. If you call customer service, its a 3rd party and all they can do is see the order. They have had to send emails to the company and i have not received a response. someone automatically created a 2nd order, and that order still has not shipped. Beware if you buy their Doheny's branded products as you can only get the parts from them. Do yourself a favor a buy a name brand pump or equipment and stay as far away from this company as possible. it says they have great customer service, they absolutely do not. Shop elsewhere.

      ******************I'll give Doheny 1 star for answering the phone. They sold us a winter pool cover that ripped within 2 seasons of mild weather due to poor quality material. It came with a 12 year warranty. After going back and forth with phone calls, emails and pictures to Doheny they directed us to the warranty department. The DEI warranty company gave us every excuse not to cover poor quality in the material as the reason for the cover to fail and cover the warranty and sent us back to Doheny.Doheny as a company should inspect the products they sell before selling it to their customers, they then blamed the manufacturer and when I asked for a phone number for the manufacturer, they said it was manufactured overseas and they did not have a phone number.Bottom line.Doheny as a company does not stand behind the products they sell. Warranty or no warranty. After all isn't that the American way ?? At the end, Doheny did offer me a 20% off courtesy discount to purchase another cover from them ??? Thanks but no thanks.We will not be doing business with Doheny again.

      I do apologize to hear about the issues you had experienced with the cover that you received.  Please note that the warranty for this product is upheld through DEI.  The warranty card that was provided at the time of purchase does state This cover is warrantied, at the time of original purchase, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Your pool cover installer must be responsible for any tears, rips, or punctures due to mishandling or improper installation. D.E.I. agrees to repair or replace, at its option, any pool cover where the seam comes apart and/or stitching due to manufacturing defect according to the following pro-rate basis. All replacement covers are subject to a $20.00 shipping fee plus any applicable pro-ration. Note that all warranty claims must be made directly with D.E.I. and that no defective merchandise is to be returned without prior authorization by D.E.I. The first instruction for installation During winter months, regular removal of excess water is recommended. Do not let too much water accumulate on top of your cover, although small amounts of water (about 1 inch) will help keep the cover secure and prevent it from flapping in the wind. Based on the pictures that were forwarded an excess amount of water was located on the cover which caused tension on weight to the material causing this to rip.  The rip was not located in the stitching or a seam and unfortunately is not covered under the manufacturer warranty.
