      As discussed, we are still working on your custom map of *************** and are glad to hear that you are still interested in receiving the product despite our longer than expected production time and lack of updates along the way. We should have this production completed and shipped with tracking information sent to your email near the end of the month. Please reach out to me directly if you are not seeing this information come through or feel the need to check in around that time.

      I see our last attempt to get you a reliable ETA failed as we were expecting the end of February to be possible based on projections from our production manager. Unfortunately, this custom work has a lot of unique variables so we found many orders were taking about 2 months longer than expected at that time.

      I placed an order online for a 2 identical copies for a custom engraved wood map of a golf course, one for myself and one for a friend. The order was placed on November 4th, 2023. Paid for via Paypal in the amount of $566.90. I was hoping to receive items in time for Christamas. First attempt at contact via phone #s on website were made the week of Dec 11th, and a follow up email was sent Dec 12th wtih no reply until what appears to be a form letter sent out on Dec 17, 2023 - stating was not expecting item to ship until January 2024. I sent a reply email that same day Dec 17th, and did not receive a message back until Jan 22, 2024, with another form letter. Finally, order was updated to "in production" on Jan 26th. However, no updates again for weeks, so email back on Feb 18, 2024 to them asking for an update, and again no reply whatsoever.It is now April 1, 2024, and I still have no items.Communication has been horrendous. At this point its hard not to believe this is a scam site, and unless contacted by the company with an exact delivery date, resolution of the issues and compensation for delays, will be seeking full refund, likely through the Paypal dispute channels.

      I placed an order for a golf course map on 12/1/23 from Sportsman Connection our of *********. scmaps.com, got a response that it was awaiting fulfillment on 12/4/23. I received a postcard after that and one communication about it being ready for shipment on 2/26/24. It's April 1st, I have emailed, called and left numerous messages without any calls or emails back. The order number is ****** and is of ********************* for ****** though PayPal. I am wondering if I can get a refund through PayPal? I don't know what else to do.***********************

      Our sincere apologies for the delayed communication. I regret to inform you that this order is not yet complete as we have fallen massively behind our newly listed Golf Courses after an unexpected response to their release all at once. We are issuing a refund to you now and will provide proof of that refund in a following email so no further action will be required on your part to receive your payment back. The email you received in January providing the 2/26 expected completion was our best attempt to predict the finalization of your custom piece, but that custom work has proven very difficult to predict. We found our estimate to you about 2 months off so were looking to have it completed nearer to the end of this month.

      We're deeply sorry that we weren't able to fulfill your custom commissioned order in an acceptable amount of time. As a small family-owned business, designing, hand-assembling, and fulfilling all orders right here on US soil, this custom work is very tedious and we have always received feedback that our maps are well worth the wait. Demand for these products has gone up significantly as of recently and our team is working diligently to accommodate such orders without sacrificing their quality, though it has caused some orders to take longer than originally expected. This has also made it very difficult to respond to the many inquiries weve received lately to help explain the time this custom work takes. We had them listed as taking 7-21 business days as a minimum since some can take longer depending on complexity and other factors. We have since improved the clarity of this timeline to suggest a longer production time as more orders have been received than expected and compounded that process. It seems we won't be able to fulfill your order in an amount of time that works for you so we regret that we'll have to cancel and refund your order, but we will be sure to let you know when this newly listed design is completed for a future client so you can purchase and receive one in a much shorter amount of time should your desire for one arise again!

      I placed and order with this company back on Nov. 01 2023 and have yet to receive my product . They took my ****** payment but did not deliver any product . They no longer will respond to my emails and they are an illegitimate business.

We are, of course, a legitimate business, but are a small business and have been completely inundated with inquiries and communications that we are working diligently to catch up and respond to appropriately. Your custom commissioned order was nearly complete and we do have to take payment up front for this work as is always common for custom work to fund the project. We do, however, fully understand that this has taken far longer than expected and we have let you down significantly in terms of communication along the way. As such, we have refunded your order in full, despite our policy against doing so once such production had begun.

      All the same, please see my recent email to you with attached digital rendering of this work that was nearing completion as we would be honored to find a reasonable way to complete this work for you despite our pitfalls thus far.       I ordered a custom map on October 16, 2023 and yet to receive my order. I have called/emailed multiple times with only once response which I uploaded. It has been over 5 months and I would like my order refunded.

      I am glad to know that you are still eager to receive the custom map we've been creating for you as this order is nearly complete and can absolutely be fulfilled shortly for you! I'm currently expecting it to ship in the next couple weeks or not far from that. You will receive a separate email with tracking information when that is confirmed. In my most recent email I attached the most recent example of the working design I could find, but some more recent files were not letting me view them on my PC. You'll notice there is still some satellite reference mapping in the background so please ignore that as the speedboat making wakes is not included!

      Placed order on Dec. 1, 2023 for custom map. The status on the Sportsman's Connection website hasn't changed from Awaiting Fulfillment. I emailed on Feb. 20 and asked for a status update. Received no response from there, so I tried ******** messenger. I did get a response there and was told it would be 3 more weeks. It has now been 4.5 weeks since that and I've received no map and the website status the same status of Awaiting Fulfillment.

      On 11/20/2023 I created an account and placed an order online for a wood map of the **************** Golf Course located in ***, **, as a birthday gift for my son. I checked the status of the order regularly and about 1/8/2024, online, my item was listed as "in production" so I called this company and spoke with "*******" who told me it should be done by "late February." Since then I have called 4 times (3/1/24, 3/7/24, 3/11/24 & 3/18/24) and sent an email (3/11/2024) with no reply or answer on the business phone lines. I have now contacted my credit card company to reverse the charges and filed a complaint through them.

      Our team has been hard at work on a big influx of unique custom maps like yours and have fallen behind our own expectations but have been getting things under much better control recently. While our last update suggested late February completion, we found ourselves roughly 2 months shy of those projections our production manager provided us. This means we are likely looking at late April or early May shipment of your order and hopefully sooner. With such custom work, it has been a challenge for our team to give pin-point accuracy on these estimates but are increasingly confident in them as this work progresses.

      I do apologize for the delays in this response and the total elapsed time on this order we are a small family-owned business so have been responding to a large number of emails and inquiries as quickly as possible while continuing to fulfill orders as efficiently as we can without sacrificing our high standards for quality that have made these custom maps so popular, especially around gift buying seasons. There is a lot of hands-on work that goes into these maps that are all made entirely within the *** to ensure we put out a lasting product with integrity.

      With these difficulties, we fully understand that you felt it necessary to submit a complaint to the BBB, but we hope to address any concerns directly with you moving forward. In your complaint, you stated that your desired outcome was a refund, while our policies normally suggest an order that is in production, like yours, is not eligible for refund, we would be willing to agree to this resolution if it is what you would like from this point.       Placed an order online for a golf course map on December 18, 2023. I still have not received the map (a gift for my brother). I have emailed the company several times and have not received a response. I have tried calling but all I get is a recording that they are busy with lots of orders.       I ordered a custom map from Sportsmans connection back on November 7th, 2023. That was over 4 months ago. They processed my payment immediately but I am still waiting for my order. Back on January 25th I received an update that my order was being fulfilled and I would have it in a few weeks. I still do not have it. I have asked to speak with someone but no one has called and they dont answer their phone. I get a message that they are overwhelmed with orders.

      Placed an order 12/14/23. Payment was processed, order statutes states awaiting fulfillment. No response from email. Called and eventually got a hold of someone who tills me they were having technical difficulties, and would call me back once they issue was resolved. They havent called back, and u havent received me order 3/13/24.
