      I still have heard nothing from Generac regarding replacement or repair of my Generac. It is only seven years old, has been sheltered from weather and maintenanced every year from the company I purchased it from (*****************, ********** , **).I am told from **** that the motor is bad. I would think this is a manufacturing problem with this machine. Please expedite to your head of the department that can tackle this problem.Please contact me by phone with a resolution.       I have a generac power cell the inverter has been down for six weeks waiting parts with no time given so my solar panels are providing no power. My emergency back up is non existent

      10 year warranty promotion was a scam! I got a contractor to install a Generac 18k. He bought it on 4/14/23 from Lowes and installed it on 6/16/23 (both within the dates of the promotion), and they wont honor the warranty because I didnt buy it, but paid him when the work was complete. What a misleading promotion. Terrible.

      Terrible company. Do not buy from them. I waited on hold for over 2 hours today to talk to some one about my generator warranty, case number *******. I hung up after having their system tell me for the last hour that someone would pick up in 10 minutes. My generator iq3500 is broken and still under warranty. I turned it in to one of Generacs dealers. The only one I could find that works on Generacs c*** was 45 minutes from my house and now since I dropped it off 2 months ago, they are no longer a warranty dealer for Generac. They have had my generator for 2 and have been contacting their Generac rep to see if they can get parts to fix it with no response from anyone. The dealer is ********************* in *********** **. I lost power last night and didnt have my generator to use because mine is still broken. I would like a full refund for my purchase so I can go purchase something else that will work since Generac cannot seem to hold up their end of things when it comes to warranty. I will never use Generac again because of this **** poor customer service.

      Horrible customer service after the sale! Will not provide the firmware for a nearly 2 yo 36kw generator it is not covered under the warranty. They are holding my generator hostage for a stupid update!

      Before buying a generac do your due diligence and compare. Generac is worse than dealing with a shady used car dealer. They do not value the customer or the customer's time. The battery died withing the first 6months and I had to pay 200.00 bc it's not covered. I opened a ticket and nobody ever reached out.

      Generac - The worst customer experience I've ever encountered. Purchased the product more than 4 years ago, it has been out of service more than in service. Thank goodness I purchased the 10 year warranty! However, now (of course the unit has not been operational for weeks) Generac support has me stuck in the middle of a support debate b/w them and their authorized distributor Pure Power Generators. Generac claims that the unit was not properly fixed, and some screws are stripped, etc. - now claiming that is not covered under warranty. Pure Power is authorized by Generac. They should come together an take responsibility. As a consumer, all I want is protection from a power outage and a functioning unit. If I could go back in time I would have done better research and chose a different path for power outage protection.

      Unreliable system and company. Our system stopped working with no notice of any issues or stoppage. They could not get any technician out to solve the problem and wanted us to work with our installer. The installer only covered 1 year and we would have cover the cost. After multiple emails and calls with each company we still don’t have anyone accountable for issues with the system. So much finger pointing and blaming each other. No action to solve the issue. Customer service calls have you on hold for 50+ minutes. After 20 minutes, the wait time is still 50 minutes.

      I had a problem with a brand new tiller. I had to drive 90 minutes to drop it off to be repaired for a warranty issue. When I picked it up, they said I had to pay $138. My understanding was since it’s brand new, it was covered like they said. The shop RJs in Vineland made me pay and we’re completely rude. We even had a discussion at RJs about why I drove so far only because it was a warranty issue. I would never use RJ’s for anything not sure what kind of repair shop they are running , as for Generac, they are not good to their word either I bought this tiller online through them. And it has been nothing but a nightmare.

      I had a problem with my generator and Generic sent out a repairman, Brett, that fixed the problem and was very nice and informative.
