  Midwest Power and generator installed our Generator on a commercial property 2 years ago, Convivence Store, gas station. It has not functioned correctly since day one, With every power outage. I need to load shed almost half of my stores draw, which brings the load to less then half of the generators rating. After many attempts to get Midwest power and generator to resolve the problem I'm sitting with a $25,000 useless piece of equipment. Please respond. Rush Point Store. if I don't hear back my next move is to contact our Commerce Department, and the Mn. Attorney General Office. Lawrence.

  I purchased a 24 kw Generac July of 2022. My electrician installed it. I found out after the fact that the “ extended” warranty only applies if you purchase and install through an” authorized “ dealer. Something to consider before you purchase.

  GENERAC sucks. No other way to put it. They are putting in the second motor within 2 years. Every time I called customer service they always blamed the gas company or at one time they blamed a few ants crawling across it. I spent over 500 bucks having the gas company replace regulators only to find out the problem was in the unit. Now to me if you replace a motor it should come with the same warranty as the new unit. Nope not GENERAC.
  DO NOT BUY THIS POS GENERATOR.

  Generac has the worst products. Bought a generator and a power washer and both of them are c*** If I was able to give zero stars I would. Stay away from generac products

  My Generac was installed on July 20/21. During a bad storm on December 24th/22 ...we had a black out. waited for my Generac to kick in...nothing?..Emailed & called my installer, who does NOT provide maintenace service...She said the weather has been so bad, heavy winds, ice storm, thats why it was not working?...What!?? this is why I bought a Generac, for bad weather! I regret buying this system & DO NOT RECOMMED IT! I am wait for them to find me a service maintenace company in my area. Who knows how long that will take?...SAVE YOUR MONEY DON'T BUY A GENERAC...IT WON'T WORK DURING THE BAD WEATHER WHEN YOU REALLY NEED IT!

  I'm so disgusted my equipment is not working due to the pvc links I spent $50,000.00 on garbage.. don't purchase this it's a waste of time and money I go from company to dealer it's been since last year my equipment worked.., thanks power home solar and generac why don't you recall the equipment and give us our money back.

  ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************They refuse to help you and when you ask about this lawsuit they sidestep and won't answer the question. He started by telling me don't worry they are under warranty. Later in the convo he says generac doesn't make the solar panels so they are not responsible. Thinking to myself why would they warranty something they are not responsible for because they didn't make the product. Why is the only name on my equipment generac? And why would there even be a class action lawsuit against them if they didn't make the parts that are faulty? I spent about 10 minutes trying to get a straight answer then I gave up. I will be seeking legal counsel

  They are really bad its worked just for three months and not working from last year and they have no one to fix it really bad customer service they dont care about the customer at all they got their mony in full They sent technicians and spend 5 hours did nothing at last he said I will be back aftt2 weeks no one showed back or call or care I called many time they waiting for woke order No one in the world know when or how long it going to talk ( call back)Looks like Im going to wait for the ten years warranty until they say sorry its out of warranty now ????

  I purchased a Generac solar and battery storage solution. The installer never finished the job properly and I've problems since day one. The installer is ghosting and won't honor any warranty work. I have multiple failed components now and Generac won't stand behind their warranty. They told me to call around and find a new installer. I tried that and no installers in my area want to take on warranty work for Generac if it isn't their customer. ********************** has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced in 25 years in retail. I cannot recommend them for any solution to anyone. I am working with an attorney now to go after the installer and Generac for breach of contract.

  9 months later and I’m still waiting on a return call from Generac… I filled out the online form to purchase a generator. I’m in the hill country of Texas. Generac sent a rep that said he was working with the local Lowes and his company was building a facility near me. He estimated the electrical install and told me that was “worst case”. He said mine was one of the easiest to do and would actually be less. He told me he had the local propane suppliers (2) lined up to lease tanks. So, none of his sales pitch was truthful. The three hour electrical install that used less than $200 in materials was billed at $2500. The propane companies don’t lease tanks for generators and had never talked to this rep. I had to purchase a tank for $3200. I did the coordination with the power company, electrician, propane installation and initial start up. The rep/distributor was not heard from again, except for wanting more money… So, I called Generac… (see above ??)
