Worst experience of my life. My 16 year son collapsed in the outdoor pool area on Wednesday. The lifeguards didnt speak any English so luckily my husband was able to translate to the lifeguard what was happening, but the life guard couldnt not communicate with her supervisor. it was all very confusing they didnt have an operational first aid station or life guard station anywhere near the outdoor pool so they drove us to what they said was a first aid station via medical transport which was a golf cart full of garbage in back. we were escorted by security to a broken down old attraction that looked like a pirate ship and were brought inside a filthy dirty room with zero medical supplies when I asked for the lifeguard staff to take vitals on my son I realized we were surrounded by security staff not lifeguards. I asked for a lifeguard or a blood pressure cuff and a pulse ox machine for my son being a current emt I was fully capable of doing the vitals myself. security staff informed me that they do not have any sort of first aid equipment and none of there lifeguard staff was trained in taking vitals that they would have to call an ambulance to get care like that. I asked security for medical transport back to our vehicle so I could take my son to urgent care because this situation was crazy and he kindly responded with calling me crazy as the golf cart drove away with my sick 16 year old son. Turns out the pirate ship was the security guards personal break room. The rides were falling apart and I am afraid that park is an accident waiting to happen with untrained staff and rides that were not safe our hotel room was a dump without hot water and no ice machine. I couldnt not find a wheelchair rental place even though there were signs at the entrance but no chairs available anywhere. They offered no cooling stations and no air conditioning in the shops or first aid stations for cooling centers absolute worst most dangerous amusement park park in the dellsMt. 1 starI am not happy at all, I will be filing reports. I went to Mt Olympus 8 days ago and rode the Hades roller coaster. When I got in, I noticed my partners bar was tight against his thighs and mine had a few inches of wiggle room. I asked the lady running the roller coaster to please tighten my bar and she literally said “you’ll be fine, it doesn’t need to be that tight”. YES IT DOES. The entire time I was bouncing up and down and could feel myself getting air then slamming into the seat. I felt back pain the moment we got off the ride. Fast forward 7 days, I could barely walk and had to go into urgent care because the pain had gotten so bad. Turns out I tore the muscles in my back from the ride. The doctor went on to explain that I could have life long back pain and disabilities due to this. I now am on three different medications and have to do physical therapy. I am still in pain and I will not be going back ever. I do not recommend that ride to anyone. Doing research after, I realized this has happened before and nothing was done to fix the ride.Review fromJennifer B

Absolutely disappointing, would never have came here knowing I was paying $400+ to only have one water slide inside, indoor theme park closed. None of this which was disclosed to me while booking. With there being rain which is unavoidable, and only have a cold place indoors to swim in a pool and wait an hour to do one slide is insane to charge so much for again without disclosing. The building outside resort, have no coffee amenities. Parking at mt Olympus was outrageously stupid, there were more closed off parking then open, confusing as heck trying to figure out the parking and you have to drive all the way around something to park on the opposite side of the attraction you want to see. I will not be returning to this place, and would like some type of refund due to the lack of anything to do with 6 kids. Absolutely dissatisfied would not recommend to anyone.Mt. Dear ********,
Thank you for leaving us a review, we always appreciate feedback as we constantly work to improve.
Upon reviewing your reservation we saw that a confirmation letter was sent to you that has our Park Hours for your stay. Upon opening the link you will be directed to our website and it's clearly stated there "...Our Indoor Waterpark (excluding Medusas new Expansion) is under renovation and will reopen September of 2022...". Indoors we have the Serpent's pool, Medusa slide wheel and the kiddie area open. We however understand the frustration this may bring when the weather is not nice. Please understand that the weather conditions are out of our control and all closures are done to ensure our guest's safety and well being. In addition it is clearly stated on our website that the indoor theme park is closed and the attractions previously in it have been moved to the outdoor facilities. As for the coffee pot, we do not provide nor do we advice guests that we do. We understand that this situation is frustration and would like to offer you a $75 refund as well as 6 free tickets for the future. We hope this helps and again we offer our apologies.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to give us a call and ask to speak with a manager.
Thank you,
Desislava

1 starThis may have been the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First of all I was shocked to find out upon arrival that the indoor water park was not even connected to the hotel. Not even with in walking distance. The bed was broken, and metal slats that stuck out on the side. The slats were covered up by sheet, so you could not see them. My grandson fell over them and cut up his leg. No coffee makers although room was so gross not sure I would have used it. No front desk in the entire building, so no one to talk to about the bed or anything. since no front desk, no coffee in lobby. My legs are bitten up, and I am afraid to know what kind of insect bit me. Possible bed bugs? Again no front desk --so no security either. I paid $325.00 plus resort fees of $69.00!!! I have never felt so taken advantage of. Teenagers running up and down the halls wearing scream masks pounding on doors added another nice touch. No one to call no staff on site. I just saw a previous review and it states they had bed bugs.,that is probably what bit me. We only stayed in the room for 3 hours and fled. I hope this helps someone else who may be considering staying here. DO NOT!! probably should be reported to health department.Review fromChris B

Any decent business would close the problem buildings until the issues were rectified, but they continue to profit off of them rather than reinvest and correct the issues. Unsanitary, unsafe, and poorly maintained. They know this as evidence by the reviews, but they choose to go with the quantity over quality approach. The room was gross and full of beetles. They would not refund me, so I was moved to a better room that was still a poor attempt at hiding the outdated structure. This is a prime example of a company that thrives on a few new attractions to distract from the general disrepair and age of the bulk of their assets. It's too bad they have become such a slumlord company, but until they bring in a legitimate hotel manager to fix their issues, it will continue to deteriorate.Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Resort

I was at the resort August 6th through the 8th, the trip started off bad I know told the resort didn't have shuttle busses and I didn't drive there so me and 3 kids had to find a way to the resort from the train station, when we get to check in I find out that's not where we'll be staying, so again I had to find a way to the room which are far away, no one told me the water park were far from the rooms, after getting to the room which had spiders and web in which I took pictures, after complaining I was given another room which was even farther away from the water park, all of this was a tiring trip and inconvenience and costed me more money just for traveling to the rooms with kids and the indoor activities we're closed such a waste of money and time, the kids didn't get to enjoy their trip, never again, *********************Mt. I don't even know where to begin! The set up of the resorts/lodging is such a joke! Had to drive a mile for laundry and come to find out one of the 2 dryers in hotel rome didn't work after wasting money (there was no sign saying it didnt work). The rooms are grubby ghetto type rooms. We booked online to "save" money as it was a last minute decision to take 5 kiddos here because some vacation plans got cancelled and wow do you seriously get what you pay for. The rooms were so small, outdated and disgusting. Clearly money needs to be spent on some updates. EVERY hotel/resort I've been too has a coffee pot and decent beds...not here! We will never be back..longest unenjoyable 2 days of our vacation. And to top it off, we were in building 7a (ghetto village in that area) and we did not appreciate the smell of marijuana lingering all night. Our kids were here to have fun but instead they got headaches when we went to our room because of the pot. Called the main office and supposedly they said security would be down there but who the heck knows. Every person i talked to from the main office was rude and crabby and sounded like they didnt want to be there. There is so much more...overall just a very bad experience and we will never be back.Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Resort

We found bugs in our room, along distinct smell of urine in the room. It was so strong we could smell it on our clothes for the short period we actually stayed in the room. We didnt stay and asked to refund the stay, the counter woman said as great, but because we booked through booking they said they couldnt. Getting a hold of someone at booking.com has been a nightmare! You cant get a real person on the phone. This was our summer vacation, thankfully we booked the great wolf lodge for the rest of the vacation. Its just the start didnt get off on the right foot!Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park Resort

I would give minus stars if I could. I rented the camping tents. I paid 500 for literally a tent I like walk to the only bathroom. It does not say anywhere that there is no electric. Its says to bring your own camping supplies that should include electricity. I was very upset we drove 5 hours to just turn around and go home. NEVER AGAIN RUINED MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY. Needless to say its very much so overpriced. Not impressed at all. I hope to save someone else from taken advantage of since customer service is nonexistent with this place.Mt.
