They arrived after over the phone explanation that the service fee was $80. When they arrived they said you will be charged $80 no matter what but to diagnose the problem would be total $265 plus tax.. After looking a two thing (total 20min and calling his manager) he diagnosed my stove as more than likely he could repair on the spot. He then had me sing a work order. Before he left, he claimed it needed 5hrs to reset but to call back if it didn't work. Then I noticed on the repair order that that there was a note that parts would be $1265.00, this was ONLY after I signed the work order. ********* it didn't work. I called back stating I wanted a refund and to only be charged the $80 but they did nothing

In august 6/23 , I was having problems with my washer. So I got in contact with The A team Appliance Repair company and they send a technician to my house. After expecting the washer , it was determined I needed a new drain pump assembly. I pain the technician $666.70 for parts and service, once the parts have been order he would come back to install it. Well after 3 different appointments we agree to have someone meet me on august 18/23 between the hours of 5-8 pm, they were originally to be at my house on the 20th. Well I waited all evening and at 8:00 pm I called to see where the technician was, and no one knew where he was, once again they wanted to arrange another day! I got upset because no one called and inform us that no technician would be coming. Even thou I got a called on Thursday august 17/23 to confirm the appointment. On the Monday the 21 th of August I called and try multiple tone to speak with someone , and then finally a lady from accounting called me and said! I hear you want to cancel the appointment!! I was upset and said yes! Your company took my money over 3 weeks ago and nothing had been replaced !
She went on and told me I would only get back $239.90 of my $666.00 payment because I cancelled. * *** ** ********* *** ****** *** * *** ********** *** *** ***** *** **** ** **** **** ****** ** *** *** **** ** *** ****** And that now I owe them restocking charge!
This is ridiculous because , I didn’t do anything wrong. They are the one that changed the dates on me and then made me wait all evening on Friday without any calls as to why the technician wasn’t coming at the date and time we had arrangedInitial Complaint

July 26/23- I called for a repair to my 2 year old ********** refrigerator that was not cooling. They came right away for $80 cost of visit. After the technician arrived he stated it would cost $280 to find out what was wrong with my fridge. I agreed. He then stated it required two parts for a total cost of $890 for the parts and labor. We agreed to pay since it was only 2 years old. We were also required to pay by cash or debit only as to pay by credit card required preapproval. The technician returned on August 2/23 to install the parts. He said it would take up to 8hours for the fridge to cool. After 12 hours the fridge was as warm as ever. A call was placed to their customer service line. The girl stated this would be referred to their warranty department and hopefully they will approve another visit. I requested a refund for services not rendered and they refused stating they do not give refunds. I asked to speak to their manager and no one is ever available. ** *** ***** *** ******** ******* ****** *** **** *** **** ** ** *** I received a call a couple of days later stating my warranty has been approved. An expert technician would arrive the next day to look at the fridge. The same technician arrived from previous repair. He stated it just required a reset and should could down in about 8 hours and to not open the doors while it cools. He assured me it was all fixed and left. On the email receipt he sent he stated it needed another part ( a compressor) for another $1000 which he stated the customer refused to pay and therefore the fridge is not working. I received no communication from this technician. When I called the customer service line once again, they refused to connect me to anyone of authority stating no one was there. They refused to provide the name of a manager or of the owner's name citing privacy issues. After 3 visits and $890, my fridge still is not working.Initial Complaint

Last month I contacted this company to inquire about a dishwasher repair. They booked a same day appointment. That call was made in the morning. The appointment was late afternoon/ early evening. Within 5 minutes of making that appointment I called back to cancel. They stated that I owed a $90 same day cancellation fee, despite the immediate cancellation. To be clear they were not at my house. They did not come to my house. They were not dispatched to my house. I told them that I would not be paying that fee. * **** **** **** **** **** ********* *** ******** ********** *** *** ******* **** *** ** ******* ********* They told me I still had to pay. They have since called demanding payment. I called today and reiterated the above message to be passed on to the people in charge, and further requested that they can call my lawyer if there are any issues. After he showed up he told us it would be $320 to service the dishwasher and we needed to pay up front in cash or debit. I ******** paid the $320 and then he spent 15 mins looking at the appliance only to then tell me he needed to order $700 worth of parts and needed half of it up front. * **** ****** *** told him I needed to think about it but I didn't understand what I had paid $320 for as he hadn't done anything yet. I wanted my money back because I felt they should have only charge the original $80 but they refused. Calling them didn't help because they kept saying I had signed the invoice agreeing to it. June 3 2023. Contacted Appliance Repair Team to request a repair for a ** that the oven had stopped working and 3 of the stove top hot plates had failed.
arranged for a service technician to come on June 5 2023. Cost would be $80 to examine to see if we agreed for repairs could be completed. If so $80 would be taken into account in the repair
June 5, Technician arrived and found that he would have to order parts to repair the oven. He was able to make one of the hotplates operate. Quoted $1478 for parts and to repair oven. We agreed, he wanted a payment of $835 as a downpayment for the parts. when he presented his invoice he had charged $327. 70 for his repair, when questioned he said that he would adjust the amount when the final repair was made in 8 to 10 days.
June 8 i phoned for an update on the repair. told that the parts were on backorder from ***** supplier they would contact me when parts were in.
June 21, 22, and 23 called for updates same reply but never did a technician would call me back. Never received any call from anybody at the company.
June 27, called gain same response, I asked to be put through to accounts to cancel the order, Arranged to cancel and pay a 15% restocking fee for what i have no idea since the company had not received any parts and they thought they where unavailable at that time, promised a refund paid by cheque in the amount of $585.35 rather than quibble I agreed and told that the cheque would arrive by July 12.
July 25 no cheque, phoned again told that cheque # **** would be signed and mailed on August 1.
August 10 no cheque phoned and told it had definitely been mailed on August 1.
August 12 no cheque phoned same message.
********* **** ******* *** ************** **** ********* for over 2 months now and we have paid $1162.70 for absolutely nothing. On top of this expense we have had to purchase a new stove at great expense due to the shortage of product in stores today.

Hired this company to fix our washer
He said it was the drum and motor that came unattached. **** ***
Quoted 350 plus tax and asked to pay in advance.
5 mins into repairs came out and told us it wasn’t fixable and to call head office and they would issue a refund to us.
Upon calling we were refused a refund, yelled at , and sworn at on the phone by customer services. Says labours is not refundable, which I would understand if he did labour. He did not, changed his mind almost instantly that it was not fixable
**** *** ********. Get you to pay then say they can’t fix it then won’t refund you, upon many reviews this is a trend with them.
Looking for a refund for the labour not completed. We have no problem paying for the service call itself which was 80 dollars.
