I contacted this company to repair the beeping on my fridge in my tenant’s unit. The technician showed up and told us that he would stop the chiming and address technical issues for the $295+ tax labour fee. He said that there was a problem with the motherboard and that it would cost several hundred dollars to get and install a new part. We said no to that and asked him to just stop the beeping. ** ******* *** ** ****** **** ***** **** the technician said that the labour would fix that. He then directed us to have the fridge off for two days. Which we did. It did not repair the beeping. The fridge works perfectly fine otherwise. I contacted the company to put me in contact with the technician and never received a call back. Called this company and was told there was a $80 service fee to come and diagnose the issue. It was never mentioned that there would additional labour fees. Even the technician didn’t mention it. Only the quote was given. I signed it however decided to cancel within a few hours. I realized that they had charged me 220 for labour for diagnostic reasons as explained by their rep today and not for the labour for installing a part to be ordered. The form is not clear on the labour and part quote I want my full refund on the 220 plus the remaining portion of what I paid of 387.39. The order number is ******Initial Complaint

I had them out to repair my fridge. Over a month later it is still not working. Every time they come out they say it needs another part, so now they have replaced 3 parts which weren't the issue because I am still without a fridge. Customer service * **** *** **** never return your phone calls. If you want answers you have to call them multiple times a day. Called this company for an appliance repair call. They told me it would be $80 for the technician to come visit, and then any parts needed would be extra. The technician showed up late and told me he needed payment of $295 plus tax before he would even begin work. I asked him about the $80 figure I was told on the phone, and he said that was included in the $295. I called the company to inquire about this and was ****** * ************ and hung up on. Re -APPLIANCE REPAIR TEAM
They quoted $80 to assess and give a quote.
The $80 was to just show up.
To assess the machine was billed as labor at over $100/hr.
My machine could not be fixed. $327 bill.
I was assured that the problem could be fixed with a new part. 100% sure.
I called to see if they could find the part. They did not have it, but they didn't tell me. They cannot fix it. Hello. I have contacted Reliable Appliance Repair to fix an oven that was not working. Customer service was happy to book me for the following day. The technician arrived July 21, and "fixed" the oven - I paid $519 for the service, which includes a warranty. The oven seemed to be fine and the technician left. An hour later, the dinner I was preparing came out raw - the heating in the oven still does not work properly. No problem - that happens; I called Reliable Appliance Repair back to book a follow up appointment asap, but according to them, no warranty appointment is available until July 31. I cannot be without a functioning oven for 10 days, and this means I either have to contact another company and pay for the services I already paid for again, or buy a new oven. It is not an option for me to wait 10 days until it is repaired.

was told $80 fee for tech to visit. If we proceeded with repair, $80 to be returned. When tech was here; prior to diagnosing problem he said we had to pay $280 labour. I called his office and got no ********** explanation for this. I asked what the labour charges were for since he failed to diagnose the problem. Was told I had to agree to pay. I said I would do so and wrote to the company asking what their labour charges were as I was being told I had to pay $280. *** ****** *** *** ******* * ********** ************Said they do not have an hourly labour charge rate. Date of the transaction: July 17 2023.I had water leakage from the fridge for which I knew there was issue with drainage but thought to call professional since I was told $80 was to be charged for diagnostic, and if I choose to repair.parts will be extra . July 16, 2023 called The A team Appliance repair company for a tech to come diagnose our fridge which is not working. Tech came to site and was there for 15 minutes and “found” the issue with the fridge. He then explained the process as what he will need to do in order to fox the issue. We agreed to proceed with the price as well as the repair. Within 8 minutes the tech completed his repair and we were told to leave the fridge unplugged for 24 hours. We were also told that there was a part the was “damaged” and that it would eventually need to be repaired. We asked several times if it needed to be completed in order for our fridge to work, to which we were told no, that our fridge was in working order. The tech left and the next day we plugged in our fridge, and it was not fixed and still is not working. We have called the head office many times and have been unable to reach a resolution to our problem. We feel we shouldn’t pay for a service when they failed to fix our issue. They state that we paid for labour and that it is non refundable.
Fast forward to July 17th we had a repair service person come to diagnose the issue and they found it to be something completely different from what we were told, and that in fact the damaged part was in fact not damages at all.
Customer service has been terrible with this company nay and we just want to get our money back and move on.
