      The incident occurred on Thursday July 6, 2023 for the total amount charged of 327.70. We called this company and asked for someone to come and help us fix an ** * error code on our ** refrigerator. They initially quoted us 80.00 CAD to get a tech to come and address the issue. The Technician ******** *** came to our home and said for $270.00 plus tax he will have the issue FIXED and fridge working today, or else I would of never paid that much money for an “attempt” to fix the fridge. So we paid him and he said working 8 hours the fridge will be working. ** ******* he left and took our money and the fridge was not fixed. I called the company and asked them to send another technician ** **** *** *** **** ***** ******* ******* ** ****** *** ****** ***** ** ***** *** **** ** *** They refused to send someone and the manager did not want to work with me at all to fix the issue. She said that I had “agreed” to that price, and agreed for the tech to “attempt” to fix the fridge, which was not the case. He again, guaranteed it would be fixed. He also said it would be fixed BUT in another 5/6 months I would need a compressor which was another 1,400 dollars ***** * ****** ***** ** **** ***** ** ** *** * **** * **** * ****** *** **** **** *** **** ******* *** ** ******** ** *** ** ***** **** ** ******** ********* **** *** ****** *** **** ****** ***** ** ****** *** **** **** ** ************* Our fridge is still not fixed, the company has not given us any money back, hasn’t sent another tech or any reimbursement.

      June 11th, I had some issues with my laundry machine and was looking online for repair services. My wife spoke to them on the phone and they were going to come over to take a look. I saw how bad the reviews were for this company and quickly called them back to cancel, this was within minutes, literally minutes. The rep I spoke to then said I was going to be charged $90 for cancellation. ** ******* ** ********** * **** *** **** *** *****

      July 8th, they are calling and ********* us for this payment. They did not provide any goods or services to us and we were never invoiced. They never explained the cancellation charge to us beforehand and they want to charge us $90 for nothing. They did nothing in those few minutes that we called back to cancel.

      I read their cancellation policy on their website afterwards, which was never explained to us to begin with, and even that says cancellation up to 3 hours before appointment. **** **** **** ** ****** ** *** *** *********** **** ***** ***** ****** **** **** ** ***** *** * **** ***** **** ******** *** ****** ******** I would like for them to stop contacting me **** ******* ** ***** ** **********, they have no basis.       I called this company on May 9th 2023 to have my oven repaired. They called back 2 hours later to change the appointment time/date - which I agreed to.

      The company called back the following morning to change the appointment time-date again - which I agreed to.

      The company called back an hour later to change the appointment date/time.

      At this point in time I had lost faith in this company and told the person to cancel the appointment all together.

      She called back and said I could have my original appointment time and I said I was no longer interested in the service. This I thought was the end of having to deal with this **** ****** ** ** *** ** ***** repair shop.

      3 weeks later, I just received an invoice in the mail informing me that I owe $90 dollars for their service call that was not paid. I called them immediately to explain there has been a mistake and they said I had agreed to pay them for a service call. I reminded the agent that I did not have a service call and that after the appointment time was a changed 3 times on their end I no longer wanted to deal with the company. She said they will be forwarding my information to a collection agency and told me not to call their company again and hung up on me.

      A repair technician came to our house on Friday June 30 after I called about reversing our fridge doors. We overheard him talking on the front porch claiming that he does not know how to fix this, and he was complaining about being sent here. As responsible consumers, we kindly asked him to leave as we do not want damage to our new fridge.
      He comes back an hour later and demands that we pay the $80 invoice. We inform him that this is not happening as he did not provide any service. *** ** *** **** ** *** **** **** *** ************** ****** **** ************ I called customer service to let them know I will not be paying the invoice. They agreed, but now I am continuing to receive calls from the company asking me to pay the invoice.

      They charged me which I paid $900 for a repair that wasn't done and now want an additional $1200 to finish the job. They don't care that they have my money and I still have a broken washing machine.

      Date of issue was Tue June 27th. We made a request for a repair call for a washer. The cost was $80 for the service call and if we went ahead with the repair then the $80 would we rolled into the cost. After arriving the technician inspected the machine and gave an estimate of $290+parts to fix the machine and prepared an invoice. The occupant of the home is a young lady and tried to ask questions to try to understand the invoice (which was almost illegible) and she indicated that she felt pressured to sign the invoice by the technician. After signing it the technician indicated that he needed an additional part that he did not have and was not currently in stock so he would be in touch in a couple of days. After following up the next day with the company we are now being told that the part is discontinued and they are not sourcing it. After reviewing the invoice we note that the technician wrote this on the invoice, so he knew the part could not be found and the machine could not be fixed, which is not what he told us, and charged us for the other services anyway. * ***** ******* **** ** ********** ** ** *** **** ***** *********. I called to complain and was not satisfied by my response so I called back to talk to the manager and was told I had already spoken to them and they refused to have a manager return my call. The customer service team was extremely **** and ************** as well. I indicated that I would pay the service fee or for the first service line that was the motherboard reset but they have refused to refund the other labour (which appear to be up charges for services not performed, eg. check hot water which there was no issue with). The machine has not been fixed. ******* ****** ** ********. To summarize my issues are with the technician's pressure tactics and providing false information on the part to prompt signing, the charges on the invoice and the services performed and the behaviour of the customer service team (Jazzy - manager and Lisha).

      June 14: Gurpret came to look at leaking washing machine. Determined new water inlet valve was needed. I asked him if he thought it was worth it to repair. He said, "It's a ******, they don't make them like this anymore, once this is repaired it will last for years. A new machine only lasts 5-6yrs." Agreed to have the part replaced, were told the part would arrive in 3-5 business days. Paid $430 cash ($250 labour and $130 for half the cost of the valve, plus tax)
      June 21: Called to follow up, was told part would arrive by Monday 26th.
      June 26: Received a call to book an appointment for repair, was told no evening appointments available for the repair. Not accommodating at all.
      June 27 Gurpreet came to install the valve. I spoke to him over the phone, I was told that the repair was done and that a water temperature sensor may be needed in the future. He was paid the remaining $130 plus tax, in cash. Came home to find the washing machine still leaking. Called the company to tell them and was told that the machine now requires a water temperature sensor. I told them exactly what Gurpreet told me over the phone, he told me the repair was done. He did not indicate at any point in the conversation that the washing machine was STILL leaking. I asked to speak to a Mgr/Supervisor and was told they were in a meeting/unavailable. My parents are senior citizens and are on a fixed income/pension, I am asking for a refund on their behalf. We called this company in good faith and expected the same in return. Instead, the washing machine is still leaking which is exactly what it was doing before it was "repaired", the only thing that was accomplished was that my parents were scammed out of over $500. Have tried calling to speak to someone but am left on hold and no one ever gets back to me.

      I called Appliance Repair Team on Jun 23, 2023 to schedule a technician to come out and look at my ****** washing machine. The seal/bellow was pulling away from the drum causing the machine to vibrate when in use. A repair technician came out and said this was a result of the rotation system being out of alignment. He said he would realign the rotation system and the motor. No parts were needed and it took him 20 minutes to complete the job. The cost was $290 plus tax. I asked him if his repair would fix the issue and he said yes. I asked what the warranty period was for this repair and he told me 30 days. The technician also stated that there was a small crack in one of the spider arms of the drum, that would need replacing down the road. This was unrelated to the alignment issue. I put a load of laundry in and the machine was making a loud clanking noise during wash cycle. The noise was not there prior to the repair. The alignment was much worse at this point. I called the company back and was told there was no warranty because no parts replacement were involved. I stated that the technician told me the repair was guaranteed for 30 days and I was told that was incorrect. I called back on Monday June 26 to speak with a supervisor who was very **** and hung up on me. I asked her to speak to the technician to confirm what was said and instead hung up on me. I would never spend $300 for a repair that wouldn't fix the problem and wasn't guaranteed. This company ******* me out of $327.70 and didn't properly fix my washing machine as they stated they would. They are ********* and ****. They had my money and had no interest in helping me or repairing the machine properly. I would like other people to be aware of this ********* company and deserve a refund since they did not repair my appliance as stated. I am now forced to call another repair company to get this problem fixed, that they made worse.

      On June 24/23 I had a service technician come to my home to repair my fridge.i was quoted $80 as the price for the service call. I was then charged $327.70 just for the technician to tell me what was wrong with my fridge, no repairs. He said it would cost $962.16 to fix the fridge. I said no way,I could buy a new one for close to that. He tried to say no I couldn't and tried to persuade me into paying him the total amount. I was so upset,I said no,I only wanted to pay the $80 for the service call and that I would buy a new fridge. He continued to try to talk me into paying the full amount. I said no way I would pay for the service call only. He said I couldn't do that that I had to pay the $327.70 because he looked at the fridge and told me what was wrong with it. I said that's ridiculous,that's to much money. He was polite by saying,no mamm,you must pay the $327.70. I was so upset I paid him that amount. I latter looked up reviews only to find out that this company and three others are just out to scam people. I'm so upset with this whole ordeal.

      We hired The A Team ********* ****** to repair our Fridge on May 21st
      According to Invoice ****** the Condenser Fan and Evaporator Fan needed Replacing
      Total Cost paid in full was $1043.50

      Repair was supposedly made on June 16th. Invoice number *******...Noted no leaks detected
      On the evening of June 16th fridge alarm noted an high temperature reading.

      On June 22nd the technician return to determine the problem

      He noted now the fridge required a new compressor. Based on invoice # ****** the repair should be done at no charge including parts due to an initial incorrect diagnosis. He noted repairs could be done same day. Upon following up with ********* ****** their office noted the tech was incorrect and even though their paper work stated the additional repair was to be done at no charge they would not honor the repair. If we wanted our appliance repaired we would have to pay once again. This was even though the original repair did nothing to fix the problem.

      On 06 23 23 we reached out to ********* ****** Crew for a second opinion on what was wrong with the fridge. It was determined the evaporator and exchanger were leaking and needed to be repaired as all cooling fluids had leaked out...Invoice 6681.

      On the initial repair from The A Team technician noted no leaks detected....How is this possible if both the evaporator and exchanger are leaking. How could it be they also determined we needed a new compressor If both the exchanger and and evaporator are not working. This would have been a second repair that the A Team wanted payment and that would have still not fixed the problem.

      It's my feeling the A Team did not not deal in good faith but knowingly overcharged and intentionally misdiagnosis work.

      I would like the better the BBB to assist us in getting our money back for the initial so called repair and we would like to break all ties with The A Team ********* ****** company moving forward.
