      Yesterday, I called the company in question to have a service person come out and repair my microwave. The initial charge was $80.00 for the call. The serviceman said I needed a new switch and eventually a new motherboard but, that he could put a new switch in, put electrical tape in place at the side of the control panel, and all would be fine. I asked him about a warranty to which he replied, " 30 days on labour and 3 months on parts".
      Fine, I said replace the switch. He did, put the electrical tape in place and left. I was charged $390.13. for which I paid in full.
      The next day, I went to use the microwave and it is completely dead.
      I called the company, they claim, they claim there is no warranty on anything because I did't buy the motherboard! They refuse to do anything including replacing the switch they installed.
      I asked to speak to the serviceman but they said he was too busy.
      I want this situation rectified. I want a refund of all labour cost excluding the cost of the switch.

      I Called yesterday January 14th 2023 to schedule a dishwasher repair. I was told that the cost would be $80 to diagnose the problem. I repeated my question to the lady on the phone that this $80 fee would cover finding out what the problem was with my dishwasher. She explained they will tell me what the problem is and, if I did not want to go ahead with the service i would just pay the $80 service fee. The repair person showed up on January 15th 2023 and requested the $80 plus tax payment. he went on to say if we wanted the problem diagnosed it would cost $270 plus parts, otherwise just pay the $80 for nothing.

      Business committed to assess properly and accurately the problem with my ****** washing machine. They did not accurately determine what the problem was. The technician removed the motor from a machine that had been recently run and said that had to be replaced and to call ****** to get a new motor because it was under warranty. He did no other diagnostics, running of the machine to see what the problem was or check for error codes on the machine. * **** ******** ** *** * **** *** **** *** *** ***** ** ** ***** ***** ** **** *** *** *** **** *** ************ **** **** ******* * *** ***** *** *** *** **** ***** I called their office multiple times the same day and the following day and was not permitted to speak to anyone in charge or no manager. As much as I tried nobody called me back in order to get my money back.

      I did call ****** and the problem was an alternator that had bent and was visible by tipping the machine slightly. That resolved the problem of the washing machine and it is still functioning properly.

      The company did not complete any repairs but charged in full. They promised to complete the repair within a few days and were supposed to charge only 50% deposit at the initial visit. However, they charged the total amount upfront. We called them weekly to get updates (at least 5 times) and after a month they still say that the repair parts are in backorder, so we requested a full refund. They refused to issue the refund even though they did not provide any service.

      I called this company for assistance with my washing machine as it stopped working.

      I was told on the phone, that it would be $80 for the service call today. To which I agreed.

      The guy from the company came to my condo, said "Oh, you already took off the front of it, great". Then I turned it on to show him what happens when it runs. He said he thought it was the drain pipe. Without even touching anything. The he said it will cost $250 for the labour plus the part. He said he would not be able to repair it today as he would have to order the part first. I agreed to this. He then looked up the part and said the part would cost $360. I said I was not interested in having him repair it, that I would rather but a new one. He would not accept this answer and continued to argue that it would be cheaper for him to just do it. I said no thank you. He said well, you still owe $250 for the labour today. I said thats not what I agreed to, that the $250 was for him to repair it. He said he wasn't leaving until I signed the form. I said no and asked him to leave, but he would not until I signed it.

      I called his company and the lady argued that I owe $250 for the labour today. I said that there was no labour involved.

      I wrote to the company to request a refund of services performed at my home for my microwave oven ** *** *** ***** ** * on Dec . 12, 2022.

      I paid to have the microwave fixed, and the microwave is still not working. I called the Customer Service representatives, and they sent the same technician 2 weeks later, and all he did was reset the breaker. I called again to the Customer Service representative which resulted in an offer to recompense me a 15% discount on additional parts, which I am not interested in.

      The initial quote was for $80 to do a service call. Upon arrival, the technician ******** opened the front cap of the microwave and informed me that the problem was the main board (just by looking at it). He did not even use a volt meter to test any part. He said the cost to repair was $425, and I said I preferred to buy a new one. He then said that changing the switches would work, and the cost would be $290 + taxes.       I requested a partial reimbursement of the fees, which was denied by the company. I paid $327.70 and I am willing to pay the initial $80, which means a refund of $247.70.

      Our dryer was very noisy. A technician from the company came out November 7th and examined the dryer. He said that it needed new bearings (total cost $726.14). After some thought we agreed to get the dryer repaired and paid 1/2 up front. He said it could be a couple of weeks to get the part and we were advised to use the dryer sparingly
      We then had a call from the company saying that the part was on back order. The second technician came with the part December 29th. When he was finished, he ran the dryer without a load and there was still noise but less noise than before. He explained that there was a belt near the motor that was slipping but that the motor itself was in good shape and there would no issues continuing to run the dryer.
      The following day, we ran the dryer with a small load and it was incredibly noisy. We put a second load in and after a time, it stopped completely. (We were able to get it started a little while later but still super noisy.)
      When we called the shop, they said we needed a new motor. That they tried the bearings first but since that didn't work, it would need a new motor at a cost of approx. $1000.
      Had the first technician been up front with us and told us that they would first try to replace the bearings but that may not solve the issue, we would not have agreed to the repair.
      The shop offered a small discount on the bearing parts only. I feel a more appropriate response would be to cancel the second payment altogether. ($363.07)
      We did not use the dryer while waiting for the parts to arrive (2 months) and now still have the same issue. We are either going to have to pay someone to repair it or buy a new one.

      I had a leaking ********* washing machine so I ****** ********* washing machine repair. This company was one if the first results. I called to book an appt and 2 men arrived. I was told it would be 80 dollars for a dispatch fee and once diagnosed if I chose to have it repaired that fee would be waived. They came in and said that the cost would be 299 dollars plus tax. They made me sign and pay prior to starting and would only accept cash or credit. They never even moved the washing machine, he shined a light on it and put it on service mode; ran it through a cycle and advised me the leak was from the drain cap not being on tight enough and that the computer system might need to be replaced in the future as well as a drain pump if it doesn’t go through a full cycle. I asked why a drain pump if the leak was fixed and he replies that a new computer system requires a new drain pump. * *** ********** **** I had to pay 333 dollars for a cap that just needed to be tightened. The men left and I ran a load of laundry just to see that the leak was the same. I called back and they advised they were closing and to call back the next day. I called back this morning requesting a technician come back. I was advised they wouldn’t come back as the report indicated I needed parts. I advised that wasn’t why I called, I called for a leaking machine that the man said he fixed and it wasn’t fixed. I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked for a supervisor to which she replied she was the supervisor and there was nothing she could do. * **** ***** ***** ******* ***** ****** **** ********** ** *** **** ****** **** ******* ** * ******** **** *** ****** ***** **** ****** ******* ***** *********

      On December 13 at exactly 8:40pm I called Appliance Repair in Concord ************** company to have someone come and look at my Oven for possible repairs they told me someone can come the next day around 11am. A little after 9pm literally 20mins later SAME DAY I called them back but it was closed so I left a message to indicate I would need to cancel the apt. The next morning Dec 14 at exactly 8:03am I called them to confirm they got my message to cancel the apt and they said yes but I would need to pay $80.00 +tax for service fee. Their policy states as long as they are given 3 hrs notice which they have. They are calling me *** ********** ** from their collections dept to pay this amount. ***** ***** ****** ******* *** ********** ******** *** ****** ***** **** *** ******** *** **** ****** **** ******* *** ******** ** *** *********** ** * **** ****** ****** ***** **** ******* **** ** ********** ******** I will not pay $94 for this. **** ** ********** *********** ** * ***** *** **** ****** **** **** *******

      Washer was not finishing the draining cycle properly, had water left behind which would be drained when you turned the machine off and on again. Called this company (The A Team Appliance Rep) also goes by Appliance Repair Team Inc. They charged $80 + HST for dispatching a technician and if service uses the dispatch charge would be used in the service fee. On Saturday December 10th, I called them for service and technician showed up immediately. He evaluated the machine and said its a drain issue. I asked if there are any parts issue and he said no, only a drain issue which he can fix without any parts being replaced. I exclusively asked if any parts needed to be fixed and he said no. Then gave me an invoice to sign for service only which I signed and paid by debit card. However, post finishing the job the machine started to leak water from all over and making loud noise. The technician verbally said we had 30 days warranty and left very quickly and did not stay around to let the machine run its cycle. I called the company when the water started to leak and machine was making loud noise. When I called the company they said there is nothing they can do and I should pay for more parts. **** ** * **** *** * **** ***** *** **** ** * ******** ******** **** ********* ********* Please help me resolve this issue.
