      I need protection from the Appliance Repair Team company who causing me irreparable damage and trying to collect money for non-service.

      Background:
      The Appliance Repair Team did not provide any service in my home but kept ********* me and asking $90.00 unjustified fee
      In fact, an appointment was scheduled and then canceled on the same day a few hours before the actual time of the appointment.
      Furthermore, the Appliance Repair team confirmed the appointment cancellation and no one showed up at the house.

      There were no agreements, no contracts nor any other paper-work between me and Appliance Repair Company.

      A few days past cancellation, the Appliance Repair Team started ********* me, asking me to pay a $90.00 unjustified fee.

      I tried to talk to the Appliance Repair Team numerous times but they were disregarding anything I had to say.

      One/Two months later, the Appliance Repair Team sent to me a letter (by mail), in which they declared that I owe them $90.00 and that if I don’t pay this amount, they will file this ‘DEBT’ into Collections and will start a legal process against me.

      I replied to the Appliance Repair Team by email and asked for an explanation of what are those charges for considering the fact they had never been in my house and never did any type of work.
      I never got a reply from Appliance Repair Team.
      Instead,
      The appliance Repair Team filed fabricated “DEBT” in Collections, damaging my score.

      Please help remove unjust debt from collectors as it will cause me irreparable damage. ***** ** *********** ******* ******** ****** *** *** ******** ******** ******* ************* *******

      We contacted the A Team Appliance Repair October 17, 2022 and were told that they would be able to come the following Friday. When they arrived, they stated that they would need to order a part and would return on Monday to repair the machine. They charged $559.47 at that time. Monday came and we called the company who then said the tech would not be coming until the next day and provided a time. Tuesday morning they called and changed the time to later that day. When the tech came, they stated that they replaced a part but another part broke in the process. They advised the cost would be an additional $231.77 but that we could pay when they returned with the new part. No time frame was give but they stated we could use the dryer in the meantime, it would just be incredibly loud. We have 4 kids including newborn twins so we had no choice but to use the dryer. We called the next day for an estimate for repair and they said it would be a week. When we called at that time they said they'd come on Saturday. After changing the time again, they came and said that they could not repair the dryer after all. The tech advised we would receive a refund on Monday by noon. We didn't so we contacted the company who refused and said we owed further money. We refused to pay as they did not repair the machine and requested the refund but were told absolutely not and they were closing the file. We have since had to replace the machine and want the refund promised by the tech. We never signed any invoice.

      We hired The Appliance Repair team to fix a leak in our 3 year old washing machine. They came fairly quick for initial visit and informed us of the new part needed. Total cost is around $600. A pricey fix, but we opted to repair vs replace what is otherwise a perfectly good machine.

      The same repairman came about one week later and changed the part. Later that night, my wife tried to use the machine and discovered it was leaking more than before it was fixed. We cannot run our machine without putting a towel down on the floor. Not ideal to say the least, especially since our machine is on the top floor of our house.

      My wife contacted The Appliance Repair team very quickly. They did not return her call for about two days * ** ******* ** **** **** *** **** ******* *** ******** 

      To our surprise, we were eventually told that the part is not covered under warranty. We have been going back and forth with them for about 3 weeks now, and they have simply stopped responding. ** **** ** ****** ** **** **** *********** **********  *** ******** ** ********** * either refund our money (and they can take back the part), or stand behind your service and come back and fix the machine. At this point, we only want our money back. **** ***** * **** * ***** **** ** **** ** ******** *** ** **** ** **** ** * ***** ******** *********

      My dryer was broken. I called them to come and repair. On the phone call they said that it would cost $80 for them to come to my place, assess the problem and If I wanted to go ahead with the repair the $80 would come off the total price. The repair guy came to my house. Asked me what the problem was. Handed my an ******* machine asking for payment of $334. He said that he will take a look at the machine, assess the problem and if I needed any parts then it would cost more. I asked him how could he possibly charge me $334 without even touching my machine and if the part I was looking for was $500 or more than this is ridiculous I might as well buy a new machine. Bottom line is that on the phone I was told it would be $80 for the time to assess the problem - NOT $334... Who in their right mind would agree to paying $334 without knowing what the issue is and without the person even touching the machine. **** ** ******  I now have to pay $90.40 for the visit without anything being done to the dryer.

      I hired this company to repair my dishwasher in March of 2022. They successfully repaired the dishwasher by replacing the pump with a brand new part, but now in November the original problem has come back and the company, when contacted, Explained that they only provide a 30 day warranty on parts and labour. I was not informed of this when I hired their services. I was told that the parts are covered by a manufacturers warranty greater than 1 year.

      Date of transaction 10.18.2022 contacted the company sent out a technician who charged us over 280$ to tell us if it didn’t work we need to have them come back to repair inverter board and main board and quote would be provided. Called many times no one called back finally reached them for them to tell us the parts are no longer available from ******* the washer was made in 2019! and they wouldn’t give a refund for lack of service. The technician wouldn’t take a credit card. Had to be debit and won’t return to finish the job. ** *** **** ***** ******* **** **** ******** **** **** ***** **** ****** ******

      **** ****** Late for the appointment on November 8/22. No ID or business card. Charge up front $70 for a dispatch fee. Would not commence any work before signing off a blank sheet with no quote that may be more additional charges. Did not repair dishwasher but simply “diagnosed” it for over $200 and 10 min of work involving tinkering around the back electrical panel. Quoted a new motherboard on the work order yet not checked motherboard and that was not even the issue. Would not leave until paid. Called office back to dispute, can’t do anything because signed the work order ***** ******** which at the end rep filled out that he diagnosed the motherboard which was a lie. ****** **** Will not take credit card for payment anymore because they know customers can call CC company and reverse charges.

      Technician came to service our dryer and told us the labour quote was $290 and parts would be 35-50. He then tried to show me a bill for $550 for parts. We explicaity asked if the parts would be relatively minor/small in cost as at $290 for labour plus expensive parts we could buy a new unit. He said they would be minor parts only.

      This company quoted one price for a job that was agreed to and approved. They then claimed the job needed to replace a much more expensive part and that the price would triple. At that point we declined to proceed with the project but they are expecting to be paid the amount for the first quote which was never completed. We are willing to pay for the service call but they are *********** a collection agency for the full amount of a project that was never done.

      On October 24, 2022, I called The A Team Appliance Repair team to repair my washer as it had stopped working. The technician advised me that a part was needed but he can temporarily fix it until the part comes in as it needed to be ordered. He advised me that I needed to pay for half of the part and for the service call which totaled $652.23. Agreement was signed at that point. When the part arrived, they came to install the part on October 29, 2022. I paid the remaining balance of $318.88 for the part. The technician told me that everything was fixed and that I should have no more issues. The washer broke down on October 30, 2022 after 2 loads of laundry. I called the company and they advised me that they told us we needed another part but they never advised me verbally. They said it is on the invoice written that another part was needed but no signature is on that invoice. They will not come to rectify the issue *** ***** ******** ******* *** ********** *********
