I placed an online order with Walmart Canada through the Walmart App - logged in with my account which lists my pertinent information including address. The item I was purchasing listed that it would be delivered to my home address on Wednesday May 17, 2023 or to have it shipped to the store for pick-up would be ready for Thursday May 18, 2023. As shipping to home was sooner and most convenient I chose that option. I then placed the order and went to bed. When retrieving my emails the next morning I saw on the confirmation of Order email from Walmart that they had unilaterally changed the delivery date to May 31st, 2023 - more than 2 weeks after what they initially stated prior to placing my order. I promptly called Customer Service, and after 20 minutes and being placed on 3 holds I was told there was nothing they could do, they couldn't change the delivery to the nearest store, they couldn't expedite the delivery to my home, and they couldn't cancel the order. I asked to escalate the issue and was sent to a Supervisors phone that just rang for over 2 minutes without being answered. I then called back and asked to speak directly to a Supervisor. I was told the same thing, nothing could be done, but they would escalate it. I have now spoken with Mohammed A. from the Escalations Team who has explained nothing could be done about the order. This item is sold online only. I have placed an additional order with delivery to the nearest store which continues to say it will be delivered Thursday May 18, 2023. Simply put, Walmart has failed to deliver the item I have purchased at the time frame agreed upon and is refusing to take any accountability for its blatant **** and system failures.Business Response

Regarding the grocery order *************:
The per pound price of the tomatoes and chickens I ordered were incorrect. For tomatoes, the price should be $0.74/lb, and for the chickens, the price should be $1.97/lb, according to the flyer at the time of purchase. However, I was charged $1.61/lb for the tomatoes and $4.33/lb for the chickens, which are much higher than the flyer price.
I contact their contact center and the agents who took my call refused to help me, citing that the price could be adjusted because they were "out of stock", but they were perfectly in stock at the time of checking. What a disgrace! They can't just use a non-sense reason to deny the price adjustment claim when they charged me incorrectly in the first place!Business Response

I have receipts for 3 cards. I contact Store Manager (Allen) sent copy of receipt and back of card. Never heard back from him. I filed a complaint and then was asked to fill out a survey re quality of service (JOKES!) which I did. I would like this matter resolved. I would like to know why I have to resort to filing a complaint with BBB. I need to know why not one person could assist me. Is this common practice? How many cards are sold annually, that Walmart does not honour. This is not acceptable - and has made me think twice about purchasing gift cards in the future.Business Response

I bought a $75 ******* ******* **** card at a walmart about a month ago and went to try and use it twice and it came up declined. and I went online to check the account and it shows the card being registered over two years ago and that it had a charge for $500 on it. I tried calling the help line and they said to call walmart about it and I did and walmart said to call the ******* number again. it’s clear that somehow the number has been reused somehow as I have the card with me and have never bought a $500 prepaid cardBusiness Response

I bought a patio Sectional Set on April 17 (Walmart Item #********) Order #************* and it was supposed to be shipped to my home on April 24, but suddenly on April 20 I’ve got an email from Walmart telling me that my item was delivered at 4:34pm it was received by ***, there are nobody with these initials at my home, my wife was all day long at home and I got from work at 3:35pm and nothing was delivered, nothing at all!
I’ve called Walmart and they told me to wait 24 hours because they would contact the courier company to see what happened.
24 hours after I’ve called back, and they said the courier company confirmed the item was delivered, but the thing is, there was no signature, no delivery address declared by the courier company, so it’s clear that the problem is with the courier company WHICH I DID NOT HIRED, IT WAS CHOSEN BY WALMART!!!
Instead of helping me out, what Walmart did? They said they will not pay me or deliver another item until I present them a police report!
I’m not the one who must go after this, it's Walmart obligation to deeply investigate with the courier company, because I didn't hire them, it was hired by Walmart!
But instead of that, they’re taking the courier’s word as absolutely true.
********* Police takes long until they deliver a copy of the report, about 30 days, which means, summer will finish and I'll not see my set and neither my money back!!
Walmart HAS to take an action to solve that situation and also Walmart HAS to give me a financial compensation for all the stress and inconvinience it is causing me!

I made a purchase on April 17th, 2023. I get home delivery ******* * ** ** ******* ********** and need the help. I was charged by them ($231.63) for an order, then refunded because I canceled that order. Then I redid my order and they charged me ($229.23,) then refunded me, then charged me again for a different amount ($227.81)... all on April 17th, the day I placed the order. I was not refunded that last amount of $227.81. And received my order on April 18th. And then yesterday (May 11th, 2023) I was charged again for that same grocery order but this time for $234.47. I tried talking to a few different people on this issue, but I was having issues sending emails from my phone, but they all kept telling me I was refunded the $227.81. And you can be charged for a purchase nearly a month later. This is not normal!! When I finally got my email fixed and sent them picture proof, and a screenshot of all the purchases and returns, they still say that their computer says I got the refund for the $227.81, and that there must have been a backlog of purchases which is why they charged me nearly a month after my purchase date. * ** ** ********** with limited funds, and being charged twice for the same purchase, being called a liar, and being hung up on is really upsetting. And why am I being charged $234.47 for an order I placed that was $227.81? And again... I placed the order on April 17th, and received it on April 18th. Paid for it. Then am charged again on May 11th for more than the original price. Also, this is the second time this has happened with them, first time was in July of 2020, but as the original purchase was not made with my account but as a guest, they did nothing. I sent in all kinds of complaints for 6 months. I was in a bad place and let it go. Not this time. This time I knew I had to say something. They will not resolve it. I bought a pair of running shoes for my daughter online on October 4th, 2022. I bought them in the fall because my daughter is obsessed with ****** and I didn’t want to miss out if they sold out before Christmas. They were for Christmas so I bought them a bit bigger so she could wear them in the spring. She wore them in the month of April and the soles are falling off. Walmart has the kids quality guarantee where you can return the item if it’s worn out before they outgrow the product. I looked online and the FAQ sections says the same. I brought them in to the store and they said it’s within 90 days and online chat they said the same. Nowhere on the website talking about the kids quality guarantee does it say there is a time limit. It just says the item will be replaced if it’s worn out and they haven’t outgrown it.
I have included a screen shot of the FAQ section and the chat with the online customer service agent.
I am pursuing this because it’s false advertisement. They have a “kids quality guarantee” and they do not honour it.Business Response

I ordered from ********** on Walmart website some lamps described as silver - arrived gold and very cheap plastic.
