Purchased item on August 13 for $48.58. The item was set to be picked up within 5 days at their location. Here is a timeline of the events:
Aug 13- Item ordered and expected to arrive on Aug 18, bank account has been charged
Aug 18- Email states the item has been shipped
Sept 8- Between Aug 18 till now, shipment tracking says my package has been delayed, first complaint filed and was told to wait 1 business day. Requested refund on this day
Sept 13- Called again, was told to continue waiting and that it's taking them a while to resolve the issue. Representative named "Nipish" stated that I'll get a refund but nothing was put to writing and he hung up on me mid conversation. No email confirming our conversation was provided after the call.
After 1 month of waiting for my product, I decided it's not worth the trouble to wait and just wanted a refund however the process is extremely difficult as my case keeps getting delayed and they state their "Trying their best".Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:While I was contacted by a Walmart representative about my complaint on Sept 14 at 1:14pm, they addressed the fact that I complained on BBB. The representative said they would contact the store then call me back, I've not received a call back and it's currently 10:38pm. I'm looking for a refund so I'm astonished that it takes this long to issue a refund for a missing item on Walmart's end. The representative avoided the question when I asked if I was getting a refund - said to wait 48 more hours to solve the issue.

On Thursday September 1st, 2022, at approximately 16:06 hours, I bought a ****** sewing machine worth $262.92 from Walmart store #****. I took the box home but I didn't open the box until September 7th, 2022. When opening the box noticed that inside there was an *** ******* sewing machine. I went to the store to return the merchandise and explained them that I took the product which was supposed to be a ****** new machine but inside the box was something else. The store employee explained to me that they want me to go online to file a online returns to get my refund. I explained to the staff at the returns counter that I bought the product in the store and I need to get a replaced item or a refund for my purchase. Also explained them that I was not given a correct product inside the box. Employee contacted one of the Assistant Store Manager named **** who arrived at the counter spoke with me stating that he will not return the product as it is not what they sold me. I tried to explained to him that I am not scamming them by putting the *** sewing machine inside the box. Assistant Manager informed me you can shout all you want and informed the staff " pack the machine and give it to her" they put the box on the counter and ignored me. Lastly I want to say that I bought a ****** sewing machine when opening at home there was a *** ******* sewing machine inside the box. Hi
want to file a complaint against Walmart store where they refused to return a Walmart brand item.
Associate at the customer service desk was very rude and refused to help at all **** ** * ****** ******.
I requested to call Manager on duty but she said I am manager and my answer is a no. She was wearing a blue vest that clearly says "Sales Associate" *** *** **** ***** **** *** ** *******.
Its worst customer service that she is providing.
Walmart location is ****** ******** AB and name of lady is ******** ( that she told me and hide her name tag under vest)
Issue happened September 6 evening.
Sent an email to walmart but no response yet.
Looking help to return my purchase and an apology from that lady.

On August 5th I purchased mattress from walmart.ca. Delivery Date was August 17th - this was important as my child was heading to University on the 21st. We had rented a ****** to transport her belongings, including the new mattress for August 21st. On August 17th I received a text stating that the mattress was delayed and would be delivered on August 22nd. This was too late as move day was the 21st. I called Walmart Customer Service and asked them to cancel the delivery if they could not meet the delivery date that was originally stated or ship it directly to the new address. They said they could not cancel the delivery or change the ship to address, the only option I had was to refuse delivery when they showed up on the 22nd. I waited on the 22nd for the delivery, they just placed the box on the porch and did not knock on the door to advise of delivery so I never had the chance to refuse it. I called Walmart and they advised that it was a final sale and I could not return it for a refund. I explained that I am only returning because of the late delivery that was an issue on their end and that the product was still in the box. I escalated it again (no one called the first time), when I received a call back they stated again I could not return it and I asked to speak to a manager that had authority to override this - they hung up on me. Again I called Customer Service to no avail. I then went into a Walmart Store to speak to a store manager, Customer Service said they weren't available. They took my name and number and assured me that the manager in charge of online orders would contact me, this was back on August 30th and I am still waiting for a phone call. I would like to return this and get a refund as due to the late delivery I no longer need this product.Business Response

I went to Walmart to purchase a water cooler. Got home to open the sealed box to find a used product and one that was a different brand that was on the box. I returned the next day to get a refund with my receipt. The manager on duty said he cannot do the return because it's not the same product? I came back the next day to speak to two different managers and still they would not refund my money. One manager even saying it's my problem now. I tried calling the number on the receipt and Walmart Canada just says it's up to the store manager and I know that they will not help me. I just want my $160 back. I placed an order for groceries on Sept. 4 to be delivered Sept. 6 from 2 - 3 pm, on live tracking, it showed the driver from **** was on **** **** Road, 2 min away from my Condo, then suddenly he went to a sidestreet, and another road, and park somewhere without moving. I never got my groceries. This time I took a screenshot of the live tracking showing where he disappeared to as evidence and called Customer Services, after calling them twice to contact the store to contact the driver, they finally told me they are going to send another driver between 4:11 - 5:11 pm, I then saw a car on live tracking next to this Store of 1500 Dundas St.E.with the driver name Ali, M from ********, and said 14 min. away, however, the car never moved, by 5:58 pm still showed 14 min away, but the car still never moved. 6:07pm still showed 14 min away, but no movement, then the driver's name changed to Rajveer, S from ********. By 6:40pm, car never moved, so I called Customer Service again, and asked them what is going on, but they said the store never answer their call, I called Customer Service 4 times, it said 5 min wait, each time I waited for over 20 min, it just the music, nobody answer the call. Now it is 9:55 pm, of course, I still haven't got my grocery.The live tracking disappeared and said it was delayed and asked me to call customer service, this time I waited for 1/2 hr. NOBODY ANSWER THE CALL STILL. I just wanted them to refund me, so I can place an order for tomorrow for 1 - 2 pm, but it is just ridiculous that nobody answered the call. That is why I took 7 screenshots altogether, one showing how the driver disappeared elsewhere without coming to my Condo, the rest all showing different times and is always 14 min away, but the car never moved and if you click refund, it said - "This order are still on the move and are not eligible for a refund request until progress is complete. I am rejecting this response because: Someone from their Head Office called me at 3:20pm today Sept. 22, but I was not home, so they left a message on my voicemail. All they said is the Head office of Walmart calling, please call ###-###-####. I called back that number, it asked for the 5 digit extension number which I have no idea what it is, so have no choice but pressed 0 for the Operator, then all it said is the associate you tried to contact is not available. I called back again, this time I pressed 1 for the Corporate Directory, the automatic phone system does not provide any Directory of the Corporation, and said the same thing, this associate you are trying to reach is not available. I called back the 3rd time, it said the same thing. There is no way to talk to anybody with the number provided when they provided no name, no extension or at least have a operator to direct the call. So simply saying that the CUSTOMER HAS BEEN CONTACT does not resolve nothing, as I was not able to talk to anybody from their Head Office. They will have to call me back again and provide their name, their extension so I can reach them if I am not home.

Sequence of Event:
* I ordered folding tables online from Walmart on August 10, 2022. I paid through ****** $ 587.53. The item was supposed to be arriving by August 24, 2022
* I did not receive the order on August 24, 2022. When checked the status on Tracking, it said "The items in this order are delayed"
* I contacted the Walmart Customer Service. The Customer Service supervisor said the vendor was out of business. They said they will escalate the order but did not give any date for the delivery.
* I wanted to cancel the order but the customer service refused to do that and said they will escalate the order.
* When contacted in few days the Walmart customer service said they could not do anything including cancelling the order because the matter is with Escalation Team.
* In the last one month I called Walmart Customer Service many times but they did not have any answer me. They do not know what is happening with the order and they would not cancel my order.
* Escalation Team sent me an e-mail to contact the Customer Service. The customer service said they do not know anything; the matter is with Escalation Team. They also said I could not contact the Escalation Team.
* Now I am on the musical chair Customer Service to Escalation Team and then back to Customer Service
* The tables I order are available at ****** and at **** ***** at a reduced price ($100 difference). On August 09, 2022 I have been contacted by a collection company stating that I do own a certain amount of money to Walmart through a Walmart ********** Rewards.
I have never made any request, nor opened any account on my life, never dealt with them. However, they had access to my data and opened an account on my name using an address from Ontario that I never lived at.
Tried to connect with Walmart but they are not able to confirm that I do have an opened account with them, however, ********* is ********* me on their behalf and they have access to my credit file. Afer opening an investigation wiht **********, I have updated my address to repair the file.
However, on August 22nd,. ********* has sent me a letter notifying me to pay a debt to Walmart. I have connected with Walmart Privacy officer to report the privacy and data breach. I have mentioned that I have been a victim of an ID fraud ******* ****** ********* and that I have never made any transaction with Walmart or any financial institution associated with them. I requesting walmart to provide a copy of the full file they have on my name, to delete any information from their records and clear my name and credit file withe all involved parties. Walmart needs to communicate with ********* and cancel any action on my name as I am the victim of fraud and never made any request to them.

we have been contacted by Walmart via email indicating that the complained has been forwarded to the appropriate department for investigation. ****** *********.
However, there is no resolution with regards to my request:
1. Walmart to contact their collection agency (*********) to close the file that they have requested on my behalf without my consent; it is unacceptable for walmart to allow a collection ageny to use Walmart brand to ****** people for debts that they did not make or owe.
2.to provide a copy of all files and informtion (if any) existent in WQalmart's data base
3. to remove any personal information they have from their data base.
4.to provide a copy of the consent form signed by me requesting to open a credit with Walmart Rewards **********
5. to provide an explanation on how was possible for Walmart to open a credit on my behalf without a proper ID validation and consent; despite having a redflag on my file that I have been a victim of ID fraud
or to confirm that I do not owe anything and contact ********* on this respect

2021-04-01 - purchased patio (https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/*****-4PCS-Rattan-Patio-Sectional-Sofa-Set-Outdoor-Furniture-Set-w-Cushion/23SAYG7DKH7G) set from Walmart.ca (via partner, *****: https://www.walmart.ca/brand/*****/51048683)
Cost was $899.00; came with a three month warranty; Walmart order number: *************; Tracking Number : ************ The product began to break down even last summer (i.e. within 4 months of purchase) then completely fell apart within 15 months ** *** *** *** ** ******.
This is a truly dangerous product that quickly and completely broke down and produced sharp edges, and had seats and armrests that 'caved in' and are unstable to sit on. Absolutely insane to be selling this awful product and offer no explanation or apology for it.
I realize this is a third-party seller (*****) but Walmart needs to acknowledge this bad company and product and offer a refund. Unacceptable that this can happen.Business Response
