1 star*** * ** **** ****** The Leon’s in Kingston Ontario is my problem.
Months and months of waiting for furniture I paid upfront for. No calls to explain. No call backs when I leave messages.
Head office tried to get me to customer service but the call dropped mid message.
When this gets resolved I will not purchase from a Leon’s again.Review fromJay F

1 starWe purchased a glass-top coffee table from Leon’s in Richmond BC that spontaneously shattered 17 months later. It took hours to clean up all of the splinters and my wife suffered a cut finger. In addition to the lost $400 for the table, we now have to pay $100 to get the carpet cleaned and a disposal fee for the heavy bag of shattered glass and the table base ruined with scratches. We were relieved that no one was in the room when the glass shattered. However, please note that we are not equipped to assess or repair any product concerns. Once a product is delivered or picked up, it falls under the factory warranty terms and conditions. Your Product was delivered/Picked up back in 2022 and manufacturer warranty is 1 year from the date a product is received by the customer. 1 starThe store in Bancroft sold me an ******'s sofa that I discovered a month later was defective. They took the warranty information and pictures and said they submitted the claim but I didn't hear from them for months, not even replay to emails asking for a time frame for replacement. I then had to hunt the owner down and he finally agreed to pick it up and give me a refund. 1 star****** ******* **** *** *** **** **** **** ******** **** *** ***** *** *********** We purchased beige leather couches less than a year ago, and purchased their warranty because we were sold on the fact that ALL stains and rips would be covered. My 4 year old daughter left a small piece of slime on the couch, that left a stain that will not go away. To our surprise, they are not covering it under warranty, since it's not "specified" to be included in their list. We would have never purchased these couches to begin with, and were hesitant to do so but the sales rep sold us that ALL stains and tears being covered, that we had nothing to worry about and we would have complete peace of mind which is dissappointing to say the least. They are offering as a goodwill gesture to send us a cleaning kit that we already have that didn't work, which is a complete slap in the face. They are also trying to say this is not their responsibility, and to deal with the third part warranty company rather than them. For the record, this is the only bad review I have ever written. Being a business owner myself, I always give people and businesses the benefit of doubt. I should note that the warranty company ignored my warranty requests for a month and a half.

1 starWarranty was not respected. I had a faulty furinture during warranty that was bought at Leon's Laval, QC. I contacted customer service 5 months ago. They always say the parts did not arrive from the manufacturer. I guess an easy way to not honor the contract signed between me and Leon's. They are the one who sold me this manufacturer product. They should be responsbile for the warranty stated in the contract that I signed with them. I am really puzzled, confused, frustrated and disappointment with the way they handled my case. how can a company as big as Leon's do this!! How can they not respect the warranty stated in the contract in such manner. The whole furniture took 2 months to arrive,while a few parts now 5 months nothing arrive and they do not know when it will arrive, it could be 8 or 9 months or even a year or two, everything is very ridiculous!! bad service, not respecting the warranty stated in the contract is not a professional way at all. It is now April 25th and they still have no idea where the part is or how long it will take to get here. I have called several times to try and track it down but get brushed off. They said a manager will call me but they never call. I have asked to speak to a manager but they refuse to let me talk to anyone. They just don't seem to care. 1 starPurchased a couch and we were told 3-4 weeks wait because it’s coming from Ontario. I called to see the status of my order and was told that it’ll be another 8-9 weeks more waiting on top of the 3-4 weeks. Leon’s didn’t call us to let us know that this was happening. I spoke to some lady working there name Victoria, ***** **** ****. I asked for a refund, and I was telling her what happened and of course she said they don’t give any time frame, she didn’t sell me the couch, how will she know that there’s no timeframe mentioned when we purchased. 5 starsWe recently purchased a fridge from ***** but unfortunately it stopped working after only a few weeks. The store manger, **** was so helpful and arranged a tech to come out but he could not get it working so our replacement fridge arrived yesterday by a very efficient and pleasant delivery team. This could have been a very bad experience but because our salesperson and store manager where so helpful along with the very polite delivery men it turned into a positive ending.Review fromChris B

1 starWe purchased a powered sofa and love seat from day one we have had issues technicians told us that the one seat never should have been released from Quality Control. We have had 2 technicians come out over the last year including 2 weeks after purchase. We keep getting the run around of how the parts are on back order. Now my love seat section is stuck open and they are telling us I have to contact a different company because our 1 year warranty is over. We have been waiting for a repair for over a year! We call they tell us another 6 weeks!
Our sofa was inspected and been informed it needs a motor replacement. All our USB charging ports never worked.
The love seat section has been uncomfortable since day one. The love seat is stuck fully extended. * **** ***** **** ******** *** I was stuck. I couldn't get up I grabbed on to the arm to pull myself up in the prossess I ripped. I called Leon's and they told me they have no repair orders anymore on file and I have to use another company for repair! They are not taking this seriously. Two technicians told me the whole seat needs replacement. All the other seats are comfortable the one love seat feels like I am sitting on wires since day one. I'm lost on what to do we even paid for the gold membership. I called them yesterday and they informed me they have no work orders because the technician never submitted anything. What do we do? I'm lost we spent almost $5000 on these and keep getting the run around!

1 star**** *** * bought a couch from Leon's in Kitchener. On arrival we noticed that the couch was a bit off, the cushions were all worn/washed out and wrinkled as if used. The seat cushions don't sit flush with each other. All the cushions are loose fitting together. The chaise lounge cushion sits over 2" lower then the rest of the couch. Our "NEW" couch looks 100% USED. worn out on arrival. Its been almost two months after we followed their procedure to fix it and we get crickets. We also paid 500$ for their "extended warranty" they guaranteed to fix any issue we had, stains, defects, tears etc, and they don't. They just want to pretend nothing is wrong. They sent a "technician" employed by Loen's! to asses the couch ***** ** *********** *** * **** ****** *** ***** ** ****** *** **** ***** * ******* sending your own employee to asses merchandise sold by you is a conflict of interest. *** * ******** I am now at a point where i don't not know what to do, how to take action legally or otherwise to fix this problem. Basically they sold a used, returned or at least defected couch and their just closing their eyes ******** ***** **** *** ***** *** ** *** hoping i go away. I will never buy anything from a Leons furniture again.
