Dear Better Business Bureau Team,
I have recently tried to dispute a Private parking invoice issued by Precise ParkLink Inc., but it was refused and I haven't paid yet. I received a ticket for failing to make the ticket fully visible on the car dashboard. Subsequently, I contested the ticket through the appropriate Precise ParkLink Ltd. channels, which ultimately led to a resolution whereby the appealing office agreed that a payment of $5 would be sufficient to satisfy any outstanding obligations related to this matter.
Unfortunately, the appeal office stipulated that the payment should be made within seven (7) days. I regret to acknowledge that, due to circumstances beyond my control, I could not make this payment within the prescribed time frame. While I never intended to neglect the charge, I expected a friendly reminder to proceed with the agreed payment. To my dismay, I started receiving Notices for ***** ******* *** ************ ** ** ********** ** **** **** ***** ** ** ***** ***** ** ****** * ******* ** ******* *** * ***** ** * ** ************** **** **** ** ********* *** ******* ******* **************** ** *** ******* ********* *** ***** ** ****** ** *** ********** ** ******** *** ***************
While awaiting a response to my first email sent on October 27, 2023, I received a second and final notice advising me the company is ready to proceed with further legal action. I sent two emails to the collections and dispute offices seeking clarification and resolution, but to my dismay, no response was received. This forced me into a corner, leaving me with no choice but to pay $147.25 to avoid any legal action as Precise ParkLink Ltd gave a date of November 17, 2023, to pay, or they would proceed as advised.

Parked at City Square. Numerous issues:
1. Got parking validated, pulled up to the machine exactly on time; was asked to pay the full one hour fee
2. Between pressing button for help and attendant coming, there was a ten minute wait. ** * *** **** ***** ** **** ********* * ***** *** *** ********* ** ***** *** * *** ******* **** ***** **** **** ** * ****** ** **** *** **** ****** 3. During discussion with parking attendant, I was ********** numerous times with a ticket* *** ********* *** **** *********** 4. After ten minutes of back and forth, trying to get a manager or business's phone number, attendant finally gave me the phone number. I showed her the phone number, on my phone, as she said it, and she confirmed it. When I called, the phone number was wrong (not registered). I had to ask her to come back, when she said the area code was wrong* *** * ****** ****** ** ******** *** *** ****** *** ******* **** *****
5. The sign posted for parking rates are also MISLEADING *** *********** It clearly says the first hour or first part of the hour, the fee is a certain rate - even if we were late (which we were not), we should only be charged for the half hour rate, and not the full first hour rate (which is much higher)

I am requesting this business to void parking ticket # *******
I tried to reach out to business but they were unresponsive.
Grounds for voiding:
- at that day their app didnt work properly. I submitted all info and click pay ... and no info of whether it was paid or not was provided. I tried twice and decided that it was paid. (as I found later it wasn;t paid)
My friends were trying to pay vi their terminal and the payment didnt go through.
So basically there was only one option left (of which I found out much later) - to scan a QR code and pay via the browser.
However I belive that is 2 out of 3 payment options are not working it should be parking company issue, not mine - so look for options that work
besides, as I mentioned above. I was confident at that time that payments went through and in fact was concerned that I paid twiceInitial Complaint

Was given a parking tickets at the lot for my work. The machine only registered a D when I put in my plate which I wasn't aware of upon payment. I park in the lot everyday and only checked to make sure I paid the correct amount. I put in a dispute showing I paid for parking that day and they declined my dispute saying I need to not only pay the 11$ to park at my place of work but a 50$ parking ticket.Initial Complaint

In July of 2023 I parked my car, got out and walked to the payment machine. I was buying my ticket when I saw the attendant by my car. He was not around when I pulled in. I told him I was paying right now so why is he giving me a ticket, I just got here and am buying a ticket. He apologized and said my fault and it's ok. He never gave me a physical ticket. I ate at a restaurant across the street with my family on their outside patio and I was in full view of my vehicle. I was never issued a ticket.
In October I received a second notice of an "infraction" for $144 that will be sent to collections if I didn't pay. I contacted their appeals department and told them I did receive this second notice and I have attached proof of payment for the date of the infraction. As someone who didn't even get a physical ticket, the first notice has a date of just September.
I got a response stating that I had 7 days to appeal my fine, which I never received. They reduced my fine. I received a collections notice 2 weeks ago for apparent parking tickets dated back to 2018 and 2020 from Precise parklink in niagara Falls at the ******** *** site. i have no recollection of said tickets and i actually work at the site and pay for parking on my pay every 2 weeks.
I have had a very difficult time getting through to parklink to get any further info and when i asked if any correspondence was sent via mail prior to sending to collections especially dated back to 2018 they said no we never sent anything. if someone could please contact me to discuss further.Initial Complaint

Parked in a private parking area on a Sunday evening in the 17th ave area of Calgary to have supper. Parking area had signage saying that paid parking was Monday through Sat. Ticket was issued on Sunday at 8:31pm. Disputed this via email with them and they just said its 24/7 paid at all times in their parking lots. When I referenced the picture of the sign I was parking in front of they said this did not matter and that it was issued validly. purchase a parking ticket at their lot, the ticket machine shows only period for parking from 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am. I bought the parking ticket at 5:58pm and notice that ticket will expire in 2mins, then i wait until 6pm and paid the ticket, the ticket shows issue time is 5:55PM and will expire in 5min. i was shocked by this. i paid 3 doallr ticket fee only park for 5 min? i left and got ticket after 1 hour, i called the office and dispute the ticket because of the machine issue, they are not willing to cancel the ticket due to it shows ticket expired. in addition, they ask me to purchase the tickets on app and that will have more options for parking fee. it really my own choice that how i can buy tickets from, but they shold update the machine to match the parking fee from the APP.
