      It’s not the bank, it’s their call centre. * ** *** **** *** ******* ****** ******* ******** Only branch I only trust now is the Lawrence an Yonge branch. ***** ******** *** **** ***** **** ******* ******** Call centre LOVES to cancel cards, till you get new ones. I have never have my card changed since I open an account with them about 25 years ago, now the card I have is my third in the last 6 months. Because, those call center have no idea how to fixed the problems. So frustrating that I have to take half a day off just to go to a branch. Useless costumer service. First you call, it takes half an hour before you can speak with live person, when they answer, they will keep you on hold after taking your information. * ***** **** ** **** ** **** *********** ** ********* ******* ***** **** * **** **** * *** * *** ** **** ****** Not happy with their call center. My fiancé and I are closing our accounts from this bank.

      ********** *********, I have to be on the phone once a week navigating the latest mess up with their online technology. ********** ** * ********* ** *** ****** ***** ** *****, how are we supposed to trust them with our deposits when they can't seem to manage 2 step verification (which I do not want, but is mandatory). ** * ***** **** **** **** * **** * ****** ********** ***** ******** *** *** ******* ****** *********** ** **** ***** ***** ******

      I don't think it is possible to have worse customer service. Trying to settle my mom's estate, it took two weeks to get an appointment because no one would return my emails. When I went in to sign the papers, the advisor had called in sick three days before, but no one told me, and the estate manager hadn't created the paperwork anyway. In the chaos of having a different person handle the paperwork and having the estate person create the paperwork, he made multiple, serious errors. When I noticed them a day later I immediately contacted the estate person - multiple emails and calls, no response. I went into a local branch and meet with a different advisor. He has tried to help but also is getting no answers or action. I submitted an escalated complaint almost four weeks ago and haven't hear anything. You have to call and leave a message for follow-up, but they never call back.

      *** **** ******** ***** ******* ****** A new unsafe fingerprint 2D security access set up on iphone is now required for logging into my Scotiabank account despite submitting a written complaint and requested exemption from this new rule. So I can’t access my online account any more.
      I will have to cancel this account and do my banking elsewhere. I have wasted hours trying to communicate with this bank plus a lot of money a few years ago in my Scotiabank investment account due to an inept account manager. * ********* ********* ***** ************ * **** *** *** ***** ****** **** *** *** ** ** ******

      I have the Scotia gold travel **** which includes rental insurance. Came back to a $17,000 charge and was told the engine had something added to it and I was charged. Thought Scotia would help and get involved but after a lengthy battle as high as office of the President they offered me $100 to go away. I don’t trust this bank and will be moving my money shortly.

      Unfortunately we are in a position where we are dealing with the estates of 2 family members in less than one year apart. The lack of service and correspondence from Scotiabank for both of these matters leads me to come to the conclusion they don't have the proper resources in place to deal with these issues. I for one will be making sure I tell everyone I know to stand clear of them for any product or service.

      I’ve been with this bank for 12 years everything was good until I have to apply for a mortgage, hoping that my loyalty will be considered but it was the other way around. I sent all the needed documents and was waiting for a response. It should only be 2-5 for the result to be generated but it was already 2 months and I keep on leaving voicemails, emails etc. until I decided to file a complaint, only to find out not from the branch itself but from the escalation team that my application was not approve. I’m like seriously? Is this how you treat your long time customers? I’m very DISAPPOINTED,MAD and FRUSTRATED, I never ever experience this. * *** ******* **** * *************** *** ********** * *****…How hard is it to respond and say or email “your application was not approved “ end of story. but NO I have to waste my time calling back and forth with no response. **** *** ********* ****** ** **** **** ** * ******** ******** They’re saying they’re committed to resolve the complaints QUICK and EFFICIENTLY… what’s the definition of quick for this bank? Months? Years? Decades? You’ll only respond when there’s a missed/late payment but when it’s a customer concern you’re nowhere to be found. I’m really disappointed with this experience and definitely will not go back to this branch at FENNEL and UPPER GAGE ***** ** *** ***** ****** **** ******* ****** *** **** *** *** **** ** ***** **** ** ******
