I ordered product 6 weeks ago. I have emailed them 5 times and also called (they never pick up the phone). I have never received the 165.00 order. Or even had a confirmation that it shipped. I placed an order, they promised to advise delivery status and they have not. I have tried calling them and get sent to email. I have emailed several times and they do not respond. Dec 2nd I purchased (and was charged on my card) an item valued at roughly $380.
It is now Dec 20th and I have not received word from the company.
It's been days of both their contact and help emails having no response.
Their help phone line simply directs you to their email. There is no way that I've found to get someone on the phone.
It feels like they sell items they don't have and then attempt to fulfill the order, remaining silent if they're unable to.
It's 5 days until Christmas and looks like I won't have the gift for my partner, despite ordering it early (and since they still have my money, I'm unable to purchase it at the countless places where it's available since I'm not confident I'll get my money back from a company that is already poorly rated online, something I sadly discovered after I had already given them my money.Initial Complaint

I placed an order with Cook Store on line and paid in full on my credit card on Nov. 9, 2022. I still have not received my item. I am unable to reach anyone via phone and I swear their email response system is an automatic response because each time it says "delivered within two weeks". They took my money! Is this a legit company. **** * **** ******** Any help you can please provide. It was around $131.00 dollars taken from me without providing the product. I want my money back on credit card. I will never order from here again.

I made an online purchase with cookstore.ca on November 24, 2022. I paid $160 for a knife set and some crystal glasses. I received confirmation of the purchase by email which indicated I would receive an email when my order had shipped. On December 13 I emailed the contact email address to inquire and received no response. Later that week I called the contact phone number which was only a recording. It advised to send inquiries to another email address and someone would respond within 24 hrs. I have now sent 2 emails to this address and have received no response. In a quick search on the internet it appears I am not the only one having a problem. I am seeking to either get the products sent, or be reimbursed. I’m feeling frustrated and helpless because I can’t get a response from anyone at the company.

Hello,
On December 4 2022, I placed order no. ****** on the website (cookstore.ca). At that time, $217.25 was charged to my credit card.
The order was for kitchen wares.
I have been unable to connect with COOK STORE by email or telephone. The phone number on the site (1-888-975-1595) is unanswered (except for a recorded message) and does not accept messages.
The recorded message says all inquiries must be submitted by email and that they will be responded to in 24 hours. It also warns that their email is likely to be caught by spam detectors.
As of Dec 19, 2022, COOK STORE has not responded to my previous messages. They have not dispatched the order, or indicated any timeline for delivery.
Therefore, I am:
1. Cancelling the order in its entirety, and
2. Requesting a refund of $217.25.

Placed an order online for housewares on Nov 13, 2022. Paid in full that day via ****** ($94.90). Order was to be delivered before end of November. As of today, Dec 19, 2022, the order has not been delivered. Contacted the Seller via direct email messages Dec 1, Dec 9, and Dec 11. No responses or reply. I ordered some Items from Cookstore on November 11/22. The order was charged to my credit card in the amount of $126.53. I received a confirmation by email of my order and that I would be notified by email on a delivery date.
I was never notified and I have checked every box in my email every day since my purchase date including my spam box. I have tried several times to call the company but they direct any questions about orders to their email help site. I proceeded to send several emails requesting an update on my order but I have never received a reply although their telephone answering system says that one of their representatives will respond to my email within 24 hours. I attempted several times to call 1(888) 975-1595 which is the number listed on their website. I tied to call as a new customer making and order because when I called as an existing customer checking on my order it directs you to send an e-mail to their help email. So on attempting to contact them by phone the line was always busy except for one time I was put on hold for over 1 hour then the line was disconnected.
I am thoroughly disappointed with this company and I believe they are fraudulent.
If they were truly credible they would have sent me a reply to my emails that I was simply asking an approximate date of delivery for the items I ordered.
I hope this complaint helps others decide whether they would want to do any business with this company.
