I ordered an item Oct 22, 2022 in the amount of 44.08. I never recieved a notice of shipment. After 2 weeks I emailed to inquire and got a response saying they were backlogged from Black Friday sales and I should expect shipment within 2-3 weeks. After another 4 weeks I had still had no communication. I reached out again and this time did not recieve any response. I have since not recieved any replies to further inquiries. I sent a final email asking for a refund and this time it bounced back. Having originally paid for this purchase (*** ******** *** ******) on Sept. 12, 2021, was advised not in stock, but coming within 12 months. On Nov. 1 1/22 contacted the store and was advised still out of stock, but they HOPED it shipped within 2 weeks. To this date I have not received the item or tracking # noticeInitial Complaint

I ordered a **** **** block on the 28th of November 2022 at 10:39AM.
I paid 142.99 CAD including shipping.
The item has not been shipped and Cookstore CA has shut down with no lines of communication.

On November 12, 2022 I placed an online order with Cook Store in the amount of $172.17 (Order number #******). The order was payed via ******. In late December I phoned the company and they had a voice message saying the best way to contact them was by email - there was no option to speak with a person, I emailed them December 23, 2022 asking about the status of my order (the items were not noted to be on back order when I ordered them - they were intended as Christmas gifts). I did not receive a response to that email. I phoned them again in early January and they had a similar voice message. I emailed them again today to ask that they cancel my order and refund me. When googling the Cook Store to go to their website I came across a news article by *** dated January 20th indicating that they may have suddenly gone out of business leaving customers with paid for, but unfulfilled orders. I attempted to review my order on their website and it is no longer active. I have open a resolution case with ****** today.Initial Complaint

On November 30, 2022, I purchased a ********** attachment from the Cook Store for 154.99, and received confirmation that the order was being processed. I followed up with emails on Dec 20 and Jan 3 to ask if the order was still in process, with no response. The phone number and website are now disconnected. I have contacted my credit card provider to see if I have any insurance, but just wanted to file a complaint anyway Thank you!Initial Complaint

I ordered some ***** ***** dishes from what I thought was a reputable website Cookstore.ca. I had read reviews so I thought it was ok. I ordered 4 pieces at the price of $140 September 24,2022. I wasn’t sure or told how long it would be for delivery. When I inquired by email I was told that when they received the product they would ship it to me. The money was taken out of my bank account when I ordered them though. I continued to contact Cookstore.ca via email and they did respond for about a month and a half. They kept assuring me they would be sending my items. In December they were no longer returning my emails. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and waited until after Christmas. At that time I tried calling them to which their message said that their mailbox was full or something along those lines. * **** ****** **** ********** ** ******** *** *** ** ** ******** ******* *** ******* *** ******** *** ***** *** **** **** ****** ***** *** ****** ** *** ****** ******** ****** ******* **** * ******** I would like to get money back if at all possible or I’m wondering if you would be able to recommend somewhere in Canada that I could order ***** ***** dishes from a reputable website.

I purchased a canner from The CookStore on October 4, 2021.
They told me that the manufacturer was behind and I'd have to wait quite a while for it. They told me I'd have it by October 2022. I emailed them asking when it was going to arrive and they said soon. I still don;t have it and decided to cancel it today and tried to get a refund but I can't contact them and their website is down.
They charged my visa right away $536.74. That is a lot of money for me and I would like my money back.
If you could pls help I would greatly appreciate it!

27 November 2022 purchased coffee machine from Cook Store, the $508.49 was taken from my ********** that day with a confirmation email and order number ******. The email stated they were getting my order ready to ship and would notify me when it had been sent. I had ordered a ********** - *********** KBGV Select coffee maker in off white - *****.
I then having not heard anything emailed the Cook Store on Dec 8th, 12th,21st,29th Jan 7th,12thand finally the 23rd with a reply now saying that the email address to the Cook Store could now not be found.
I looked on line to find their accreditation had been revoked by the BBB and I would have to dispute the payment hopefully successfully with my credit card company.
What recourse do I have with this company ? If unsuccessful with my CC company then what ?

August 29/21: Purchased, on line, a pressure canner, for $509.24. Company indicated that due to covid and the increased interest in home perserving that this product was back logged from USA supplier for 1 year. I accepted. (see invoice)
Sept 5/22: I sent email inquiring to the ETA of this product. I was reassured, via email , with apologies that there were significant supply chain issues. They offered to toss in for free a stainless steel whisk. (see new invoice)
Nov & Dec /22: my emails were ignored.
Jan/23: my email was returned. It was then that I discovered they appeared to be closed.
