They have not picked up our trash for over two weeks. Our contract is weekly pick ups & quarterly billing. There was recently a story about complaints on **** news by residents of Pittsburgh KS. About a month ago there were complaints on *** news about residents trash not being picked up in Forsyth Missouri. Clearly this company has problems providing a service so many pay for.Business Response

Cards took over our trash service, which was excellent, and has been a dismal failure wherever they go.
They have missed picking up my trash more times than they have collected it.
After approximately 15 phone calls and 4 unanswered Emails I'm done with them.
They will not issue a refund or offer any resolution.Business Response

Your company did not pick up my trash in June. Also, I incurred additional cost switching to a different service who, in fact, did the job correctly.And the issue of a refund for failure to perform the job for which your were paid was *NOT* addressed in your response whatsoever.

CARDS has not picked up my trash in a month, I have called customer service probably a dozen times, I was told 3 times by 3 different agents that someone would be out by EOD or the next morning to get the trash picked up. Nobody has shown up for a month. I paid a massive amount for the quarter and I will need this refunded back to my original payment method. I'm done messing with this and will find another trash service provider. I will not be paying for a service if you cannot provide the service. I will not accept anything other than a refund of what I have paid for the last few months as well as the quarter.Business Response

On April 18th, 2024 driver of your trash truck ran into and destroyed our retaining wall. Contacted company was given the name of a gentleman to contact that gentleman told me, there were two other gentlemen that I would need to contact. Upon doing so did not receive contact back until after someone went to my property to look at the damage. Tried several times to reach back out to company. Was constantly told that they would reach out to the insurance company and have someone contact me and to date no one has. Last email I sent was on May 13th and I have not heard anything from anyone since.Business Response

I’ve paid for about 5months of service which would result in a total of 22 pick up days of trash, just by my calculations, since *** had sold the trash company to Cards Recycling I’ve had my trashed pick up maybe a total of 6 times. They never have a reason as to why they have not picked up my trash anytime I call just that it should be soon. I would like the money I’ve paid this business back as they have not done their job. I’ve had to bring trash back into my home due to them not picking it up and having wild animals that will tear it up.Business Response

They don’t show up to empty my dumpster even after calling them several times. They bought *** ******** my former trash company and never told me. I called in January to pay my bill and found out. I didn’t have a bill until February. I went a month without trash pick up. After several calls they showed up and empty my dumpster, in the month of May they picked up my trash the 1st week and have not came since even after several calls to them. the company is supposed to be providing trash service in the city of Duquesne, Mo. and has not picked up the trash at City Hall for 2 weeks (Agreement was for weekly pick up) many other resdents are complaining to the city and on Facebook about their lack of service.

This company bought *** ******** which I had for over 7 years without issues on picking up trash on collection day. This company has been late several times a month and I have had to call three times already. Twice this week alone. Did not arrive on Monday or Tuesday I called on Wednesday and they said 48 hours. Nobody there still by Friday. Called again Friday morning and was told it would be picked up that day and again on Tuesday as this Monday is a holiday. My trash is still sitting and piling up with animals getting into it as I live in the country and we have had to resack it almost everyday. There is no customer service line after 5pm and only reach customer service during business hours after waiting at least 15-30 minutes. No discounts have ever even been given even though they do not show up and auto bill my credit card.Business Response

Cards bought out Pederson Trash Service in our area, and have completely missed 5 weeks of pickups since then. Constantly being told that they will be by in 24-48 hours, and they never are. They said we would be refunded for missed weeks of pickups and we never were. The only reason we are still customers is because no one else offers servicing of 2 yard dumpsters in our area. They are keeping our business solely because they have a monopolization on the area. Pickups need to be corrected EVERY week. Money needs to be refunded for all the missed pickups.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Wording of your message clearly states that a refund or credit is a possibility. Given the past, I don’t put much credibility into that actually taking place. I would like confirmation that what we paid will be credited, and/or refunded to our account for the weeks that have been missed. We are up to 7 full weeks that there was no trash picked up. I want to clarify, this doesn’t include weeks it was picked up late. This is 7 full weeks with NO pickup. I would like that amount, whatever it may be for 7 weeks of service, refunded or credited to our account.

My trash service is not getting picked up. They never answer there phone, if they do they say they will be back out the next day. It’s all false promises.
