      I cancelled my services months ago yet I continue getting bills with late charges attached. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they said they'd put me on a list for a call back. They're saying I owe $156.07 yet I cancelled my services.

      We were using CARDS Trash Service and I had prepaid for service through December 2024. Our trash service was neglecting to pick up - after two missed weekly pick-up, I contacted CARDS the second week of September and said I wanted to cancel my service and refund my credit. They said they had a truck coming to my area and would be picking up in the next couple of days. They failed to ever pick-up our trash,- I then received a statement from CARDS on 9/17/24 for service months OCT.- DEC. I promptly called stating I wanted to cancel my service and be refunded the $43.92 of pre-prepayment. they said they couldn't stop service because their statement had already been sent out, and I would be responsible to pay for Oct-Dec ( even though it was 9/17/24 when I notified them for cancellation?) I told them I would NOT be paying for their service and requested they pick up their trash receptacle. They did pick up the trash receptacle within a few days. On 10/17/24 I received another statement - now with a $20 late fee charge. I phoned CARDS and the female employee said they were removing the balance, but it would take 1-2 weeks. On 12/9/24, I received another statement with a second additional $20 late fee charge. I have NOT received any trash service since the end of August - other then their picking up my trash receptacle.The female employee I talked to said she was not able to remove any charges - I requested to speak with her manager and she took my number stating she would have her call me. I have never heard from a manager. I called BBB in Overland Park ( *****) and she informed me of CARD F rating and to file a complaint and follow up with her 12/10/24 to assure BBB received the complaint. I would like the charges for services I never received removed, and issue a refund from my credit of $43.02. See attached statements supporting this information.

      Cancelled service on Sept 6th because services were not rendered. We are still being bill for services plus late fees, and a dumpster pickup fee we did not approve of. Also being threatened with a collection agency. We have called several times and were told it would be taken care of only to be billed again. We have reported them to the Attorney General in Missouri.

      Cards recycling is continuing to bill me for services not being rendered. They sent a bill for the remainder of the year and are adding late charges after i have canceled services with them.

      I cancelled my services with this company but continue to receive bills and late fees. They have already picked up my dumpster and I refuse to pay for trash services that I did not receive.

Our customer service team promptly processed the cancellation and scheduled the removal of your can for the end of October. As a result, we continued to provide service through the month of October until the can was removed. In light of your concerns, we will be removing the charges for November and December, plus the late fees, from your bill, as these services were not rendered. However, the charges for October will remain due, as our drivers continued to service your trash through the month, and the can was only removed after that time. We hope this clears up any misunderstandings, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.

      Tuesday Nov 12th was the sixth time Cards failed to pick up my trash on it's scheduled day. Again I called sharing the missed pickup. They said they would be out by Thur or Friday, but they never came. All of those previous 5 misses lacked attention so I asked for a Supervisor to call me please. I was told they would call me on Friday Nov 15th, but nobody ever called or came for our trash. Tuesday Nov 19th was our next scheduled pick up, and again nobody ever came. On Wed 20th we were told someone would be out for our trash, and again nobody has come. It should be noted that we pay 90 days in advance for this service. And, also note, it is not just me that is missed, but my entire neighborhood. We are now approaching 3 weeks without trash pick up, and trash is getting piled high by everyone. This is totally unacceptable for a prepaid service.

      We usually pay our trash six months at a time for our rental house in Pittsburg, Ks. After monthly having to make phone calls to the company from them billing us (that we already had paid for service) I was done with them. In September I called and told them we were canceling their service starting October 1, 2024. We were paid up with them until then. On October 1, 2024 Cards came to rental and retrieved their container. They continue to bill us for trash service even after the container is in their position. We have changed our trash service to a different company. I have spoke with multiple workers at CARDS each month and even the manager. She told me it would take a couple months to get it off the books. Meanwhile Cards are trying to turn us into collections for nonpayment! Not sure what more we need to do? Our renters moved in in July, so this time I only paid four months as I was not going to discontinue to use this company. Cards are charging late fees of $20.00 monthly as well. Please HELP as we pay our bills and don't need this to be turned into collections!

      I cancelled my service on September 25, 2024 for a couple of reasons. First, their overall service was terrible. There were a few times they did not pick up our trash at all causing the trash can to be overflowing by the next week. Second, they were moving to quarterly billing instead of monthly. I did not want to pay quarterly for an unreliable service.
      The cancellation was done prior to the new quarterly bill due date of 09/29/24. I asked the representative, Abby, if this would cancel my service / account effective immediately and she confirmed.
      Since then I have continued receiving invoices as well as automated phone calls telling me my account is past due. I am being charged for services I have not used since cancellation along with late fees.
      I called customer service again today and was told I was still responsible for services from October - December even though I have not used their service since cancellation on 09/25/24, all because they had “already sent the bill.” The last time my trash was picked up by them was 09/23/24. This makes absolutely no sense and is a very poor business practice. I no longer have their trash can as they have picked it up. How can you legally be charged for a service you are not using?? The representative I spoke to, *******, was extremely rude. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me she did not have the ability to transfer my call to anyone else. They have the absolute worst customer service I have ever delt with in addition to having overall poor trash service as well!

      Cards Recycling was my trash service for about 6 months after they purchased a local business. They must have had trouble with the transition because they had problems with picking up the trash. They went to a three months billing cycle where they required payment in advance. I paid my service through September. I cancelled my service the last week of September. The customer service person who took my cancellation didn't mention that there would be any problem and requested my trash poly-carts be retrieved. The retrieved their within a couple of business days. Cards has been sending my past due notices for service I am not receiving and cannot receive (I don't have their poly-carts) and adding late fees to the bill. Today, I called them. They told me I cancelled to late and have to pay the bill - for service I cannot receive. If that was true, they could have let me know that when I cancelled and/or not picked my poly-carts.

      They would Never pick up the trash up on time! Then the last time they came before I canceled they dump our trash in the ditch and left it. Pittsburg trash service came and picked it up. Thank God! So we canceled after this day (September 25,2024 before the beginning of the new cycle) and I’ve called three times about the bill for October November and December and every time they said it should be taken care of because we didn’t use the service for those months and the billing department would take care of it but it would take awhile because they were short staffed but we are continuously getting late fee added for an account that is NO longer open. today I called because I got an email saying they’re taking it to collection and now they’re saying it was denied since it was billed before I canceled and that there wasn’t anything they could do further for me but we haven’t used them since 9/25 and the bill is for October November and December. we still have the trash can they won’t come get. All we are looking for is to get credited for the service we never used!
