      My previous trash service was bought out by CARDS Recycling. I have had this service for about 1 month now and have had to call every week to get Mt trash picked up. When I told them I was dissatisfied and wanted a refund for the 1 more month that I had prepaid they refused. They do not live up to their part of their service agreement.

      Concerning the review issued on 12/20/2024, I must add that in the end, CARDS did do something right. They collected their trashcan and issued a full refund. Unfortunately, we would had been better off without ever doing business with CARDS recycling.

      Subject: Urgent: Complaint and Request for Resolution
      I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the trash pickup service provided by Card’s Recycling Service
      Over the past three weeks, my household has experienced a complete lack of trash pickup, and this is not the first time such an incident has occurred. I find it unacceptable that we've been neglected without any apparent explanation or resolution. Moreover, the absence of customer service representatives when attempting to inquire about the status only adds to the frustration.
      I kindly request that you investigate the reasons behind their extended delays The inconsistency with their service is not only inconvenient but also reflects poorly on the company's reputation.
      The level of customer service provided is disheartening, and I feel compelled to explore alternative trash services. I intend to bring this matter to the attention of our community at the upcoming board meeting, advising against choosing Cards for their waste management needs.
      I urge you to address this matter promptly and provide a satisfactory resolution. I appreciate your attention.

      THE ABSOLUTE WORST. In 2023 they took over CRS, without any kind of notification. My payments were drafted monthly from my bank account to CRS. CARDS continues to invoice me with an "overdue balance" as their incompetent accounting department cannot seem to locate the payments that were made. If you have a choice, avoid this company at all costs.

      They hardly ever come by to pick up the trash. They are supposed to come by weekly, but rarely do. Then, I have to call repeatedly to get them to collect the trash. They say they will come by the next day but this has never happened. Most times, I get some strange excuse ( like they didn't pick up because the driver couldn't find the trash cart) or they say they'll pick up the next week. It seems to me that they only pick up when THEY want to. I pay for weekly service but what I actually get is sporadic (2-3 times/month at best) service. This is really pathetic. Their rates are very expensive and the service is awful. I have been dealing with this for 2+ years with no improvement. In fact, it has gotten significantly worse over the last 6 months.

      Terrible customer service nobody answers the phone, Homeland trash service used to be my provider never had any issues until Cards bought it, I paid my yearly service and Cards send me a new invoice for payment, forwarded proof of payment and supposed to send to accounting to be updated.

      Ever since they acquired Shorts trash service In Frontenac KS… I have not had my trash picked for over a month… the canister is overflowing. I have reported 3x and still no response. And now the voice message is full or no one picks up. I have changed my trash service as if 2/1/2024. And now another business will have to collect their trash of which as a business they have collected monthly fees. This is ethically wrong!!

      This company is clearly doing something right. Because of bad weather, our trash wasn’t picked up as scheduled and when it wasn’t picked up the next day, I called.
      Within a few hours the truck was out to our neighborhood and it was picked up.
      Weather is an obstacle for anyone but it’s how we overcome the challenge and Cards did just that.

      I have been trying to cancel my cards trash service since last August. Left several messages as well as sent emails with no response. I finally was able to speak to a live person named Brenda on December 14, informing her that I have left repeated emails and messages with no return answer at all. I told her I wanted to cancel again and be refunded the $192 I pay for 3 months of service. Jan-mar-2024. She said it would be taken care of and it still had not been refunded. I need help to get this situation resolved. Any suggestions?

      I was a loyal customer of Automated Waster for over a decade, never late on payments, received excellent service, until CARDS took over. I pay my trash service prior to due date, and in late September paid for October, November and December 75.00 online and it was taken from my account promptly. In November I received another bill for October, November and December. Had I not looked carefully I would have paid it. Then one week later, I receive a notice that I was 30 days behind, and charged a service fee. Immediately I called and spoke with “Brenda” and was informed there must have been a glitch and that my account was current and she would handle the matter.
      December I receive a bill with late charges> administration fees, and total bill 86.50. I call and speak with Trevor, who informs me… you’re not the first customer I have heard this from. At first, he attempted to state, “If we set you up for automatic payment withdraw, I can save you a little money” I exclaimed who in their right mind would do such a thing when the CARDS billing is unreliable> he then asked to send an email with everything in writing. I did. Then that same day, my trash was not picked up, yesterday….. So yet again, I call right at 8:00am, and low and behold reach Brenda…I asked why my trash was not picked up, she stated, “ I don’t see any reason why” then I explained all the above, and she states, no ma’am you are current and the 50 cents is a monthly charge x3 equaling 1.50 on top of 75.00…. Do the math, this does not equal 86.50… Lord, in all my years, I have never had such issues. AND NO LONGER A CARDS CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
