      We have Republic Services for trash and recycling pickup. It has been 3 weeks without any service. We have reached out to them and they say they are going to pick up the trash but dont show up We have paid them for the service. At this point they should be offering us a free month.

      We have addressed the service issues and will have a sub contractor servicing this customer from now on. They are currently on schedule to be serviced regularly from this week forward. The customer has also been issued a credit for lack of service for the last month.

      We notified Republic mid March to discontinue our service and pick up their container on March 30. They proceeded to bill us for April and May during which time we had absolutely NO service from them. Now they are threatening to turn us over for collection and may have already done so. We have used them as a waste provider for about 20 years but they started adding a fuel fee of $100 per month and just made their service unaffordable for us. Our new provider does not add this fee. We always paid our bill on time and we actually have a spotless credit rating. The last time I spoke to them regarding this problem, I was told we should have given them two months to discontinue!! Absurd!! I want them to reverse all charges since March 30 (currently $793.26) and restore our perfect credit rating in regard to this account. Please help. Sincerely T Q ********

      Our request to terminate service and arrange for the removal of the dumpster currently located on our property. We have provided multiple written notices and clearly outlined our reasons for cancellation, including lack of proper notice of rate increases and ongoing service issues both of which we view as material breaches of the agreement. Despite our attempts to resolve this matter in good faith, we have not received a clear commitment regarding the removal.

      Rates have increased 15% in the past 1 year, over 38% in 2 years. They have fees for everything - container delivery, container pickup, environmental fees, administration fees, fuel surcharge, and a fee for the service. When I canceled my service, the company charged me a late fee on a invoice for services I did not receive. I should not have to pay for their company to pickup their own container after I've paid to cancel service with them and they've gouged prices and increased my bill with every single biling cycle. People in the same area with the exact same service are paying drastically different prices and it doesn't make sense other than this company is a scam!

      Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. Upon receipt of the complaint, we investigated the matter. This is a residential open market area for trash collection, meaning there is no municipal contract for established rates and residents in the area are subject to varying, competitive pricing. We do hold a standard price increase structure necessary to obtain an acceptable operating margin with increasing operational costs for doing business. We have additional information regarding our rates, charges, and fees at ********************************************************************************************* can confirm that the late fee has already been credited, and we have cleared the remaining balance of $61.12 in goodwill to resolve.       ************************************* requested cancellation due to breach of our contract, i.e., not completing service of emptying containers when they are not full and padding our invoices each month to reflect a charge for overage when there were no overages. Our representative, ****** ********, has been made aware of these ongoing issues, as well as photos. On May 2, 2025, a final email was sent to him requesting cancellation of this contract effective June 1, 2025 to avoid further action. We have paid our bill for services the month of May 2025, minus the overage charges of $718.09 (original bill $843.70). We are requesting pickup of their bins and well as cancellation of any other contracts/agreements.Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

      Good afternoon. All one-off service issues were rectified and responded to. There was no breach of contract. ****** ********, account manager, let customer know they have a valid contract until July 14, 2025. Despite that, customer contracted with another ********************** provider and asked Republic Services to remove containers. Account manager reminded customer of valid contract. Liquidated damages must be paid, per the contract, for early termination of services. Our internal legal counsel will get involved if necessary.

      On January 21st 2025 I agreed to a set amount for services from Republic Services in the amount of $181.73/mth. I was very direct and clear about the amount I want to pay. The amount was agreed upon and I signed the Proposal-**********. I then received a invoice on February 13th 2025 in the amount of $240. Which is $60 higher then the agreed amount. I sent a email asking for information, and no one reached back out. I sent another email about my complaint, and did not get a email back for 6 weeks. The amount states $181.73 and some taxes. Which is fine. But the taxes are not $60 and more. I have received more invoices and the amount keeps going up and up and up. I have not gotten any returned phone calls, or emails. And when I did speak with someone I was told the bill is correct. Yet the company is hiding fees which is now against the law. Now, Republic is not trying to get this resolved and keeps invoicing me for services not rendered. The invoices also show a charge for fuel. If they stopped picking up, how am I being charged for fuel that was never used? I have also expressed very clearly how this has been not working out and I want the dumpster picked up. No one has listened to me, no one is trying to figure this out, and no one cares. I have been loyal to Republic for 5 years and it seems they do not care about there customers.

      5/27-I called & canceled my trash service. Quarterly bill has risen astronomically. Most recent hike from 98$ to 105$, & lastly 122.5$! Was told they could get bill down to 70$ quarterly, which infuriated me further because for years I've been paying their exorbitant bills.. I canceled service.. Bill was on autopay through Aetna Extra Benefits Card. All of my bills are paid through this card, of which I have my **************** access still to pay for June. Relieved email from Republic Services today, Saturday, that they've automatically deducted 122.5$ from my *********** I specifically discussed this with the ***resentative to be certain my card # was not even kept in their records anylonger. She assured me it was erased. The hold time to call them has been at least 1hr! I'm wheelchair bound, on a very fixed income. I can not afford to wait for Republic Services to give some actual thought to their customers! They've done this today, ******************* closed until Monday... & then 4-5 business days for them to rectify my **** account, & who knows how long on hold to even get through to a human being...& they obviously can't be trusted to do what they assured me would be done. My card needs to be reinstated & wiped clean from their system, & it needs to be done now so that I can have the $ to pay my remaining bills, one of which is on autopay & now the balance in this account will not cover these 2 remaining bills! I've had it with Republic Services! When they said they could reduce my quarterly bill from 122.5$ to 70$, I was astounded! And, the *** told me "Everyone needs to call & negotiate their bills.", I nearly fell over! I've been with them for nearly 7 years, and it could nit be more evident to me that they certainly do not have the best interest of their clients in mind!!! I'm currently with Ozark Refuse, as are many of my neighbors, for 60$ quarterly. They need to reinstate my **** account ASAP, & remove my card #'s from their system.

      We subscribe to weekly trash pickup from Republic Services (Acct #*************. Our trash is supposed to be picked up every Monday, but Republic has not picked up the trash since 05/19/2025.I've called the customer service line *************) several times. Each time the customer service representative apologizes and (supposedly) schedules a new pickup for the next day, but no one ever comes to pick up the trash. I'm told repeatedly that it is an issue with personnel or equipment that caused the missed pickup. That excuse would be acceptable for one missed pickup, but not for repeated occurrences.I would like to hear from someone to explain why we are being ignored and what they plan on doing to rectify their failure to provice the service we pay for.Thank you.

      Republic Services ****************************************** service is not picking up my trash and it has been going three weeks We call them. Their apologetic says say its scheduled but nobody ever comes and picks it up. Our trash cans are over running on *********** 38Eand making a possible environmental problem with trash on the road including wildlife getting into the trash cans it seems that they want to cancel Our services and doing it by just not picking up anymore. However, they are still expecting me to pay the bill I know Republic Services is through the city of ******************* and if you look at reviews, they have multiple complaints of this issue. Im hoping to get this noted and ***** not only for myself but the city of ******************* so they could drop the contract With Republic Services. Thanks *****

      I apologize that you have experienced service issues with us.  It is always our goal to not only meet but exceed the expectations of our customers.  I see we missed you on Friday 6.20 but but got your home picked up on Saturday 6.21 this week and also that we issued your account a credit earlier this month due to our service issues.  Daily, we strive to have the same driver in the same truck on the same route, that ensures that we have the greatest consistency of service possible.  As the weather warmed up, we have had some issues with truck maintenance and staffing especially as we added additional routes to pick up yard trimmings (we don't pick up yard trimmings in the winter).  This has caused disruption to how we normally service some of our customers in Northern Colorado.  It is never our intention to miss any neighborhood or customer.  I spoke to our routing team, I am optimistic that we can get your service back on the right track.  Thank you for being a customer and for sharing your feedback with us.

      At my residence in ********************, I have weekly garbage pickup from Republic Services for two garbage cans. The service on a quarterly basis typically costs between $330 and $350. On one occasion this winter, after a through cleaning, five garbage cans were left out. As a result of a one-time occurrence of three additional garbage cans being left out for pickup, I was charged the rate for leaving five garbage cans out for the whole quarter. The total I was charged for the first quarter of 2025 was $965.36. In other words, I was charged more than $600 for having left three additional garbage cans on one occasion, or roughly $200 per garbage can in excess of the norm.I have had numerous phone conversations with people from Republic Services, but according to Republic Services, I was charged correctly. Republic Services is the only garbage pickup service in the area, so I don't have the option of switching to another business.Doing the math, over the course of one quarter, with two cans picked up a week at a quarterly cost of about $350, I am charged between $13 and $14 per can picked up. I would have gladly accepted being charged an extra $50 for leaving an additional three garbage cans on one occasion. Being assessed $600 is just not acceptable! Republic Services threatened to discontinue my service if I didn't pay what they charged me.
