Signed up for their trash service, havent received any trash can in 3 weeks. Called customer service and my info is not on hand for them. They say once I get my cans, it wont be until another month that the service will start. Horrible service .Republic Services Inc

We were customers of ******** Sanitation for several years. We received an invoice that showed a past due balance from ******** that had already been paid. Unbeknownst to us, ******** sold to Republic. We started receiving notices and emails about the erroneous past due balance. We then talked to either by phone or emails to 4 different people from Republic about the issue. Two of these representatives were sent detailed copies of the invoices that clearly showed we did not owe the past due balance. Each person with which we discussed this issue stated they would get back with us. NO ONE EVER DID. I was even told that a supervisor would contact me--no contact was ever made. We then started receiving threatening collection notices from Coast to Coast Financial Solutions trying to collect the erroneous amount. We are not going to pay for something we do not owe.Republic Services Inc

Trash is not being picked up on scheduled dates. Ive had to call 4 times during the last 3 months. I dont have any confidence that this issue is going to be resolved. Im checking out other trash companies. I cant believe how inept this company is. I will say customer service people are pretty good but they do not have the ability to resolve problem. Absolutely horrible service. I have been a customer for over 5 years, until now. Every year there is issues with yard waste pickup, despite payment for that service. This season between *** and August I have had zero pickups, unless I put in a missed pickup request, which they actually took care of one time. I have reached out weekly since August 2nd, spoken to two representatives (one who even escalated the situation) and my yard waste has still not been picked up. Just got off the phone with yet another representative who told me "well, you're scheduled pick up date is tomorrow so there is nothing I can do." They are reimbursing only 1 months of service, despite being able to see that I have not been serviced for months, and I am still being charged for services I am not receiving. I am absolutely outraged at the way they treat their "valued" customers and have lined up a new ********************** service saving me $800 a year. Absolutely disgusting.Republic Services Inc

Moved to ******* ** 14 months ago and, like most homes in our large neighborhood, we signed up for Republic garbage and recycle. In recent months service has increasingly missed pickups and become generally unreliable, often with communications about delayed or missed pickups coming after the fact, if at all. I noticed many neighbors switching to a more reliable local competitor. So we did the same about 3 weeks ago and ever since have been told multiple times by Republic (after calling the local Fort ******* customer service phone #) that our two ********************** bins would be picked up today, August 16th. I set the bins out at 6:30 AM and called Republic twice today (morning and afternoon) and was assured once again I was on the list for today and pickup would be by 7 PM. Well, it is 7:05 PM and NO pickup. Our garage is overcrowded with four bins at present. Beyond frustrated and if not resolved in next few days will be escalating AND letting more of my Republic-using neighbors, many of whom are very frustrated like us, know they should really consider changing vendors - but good luck getting your old bins picked up!Republic Services Inc

Can't get a dumpster picked up since April as we no longer occupy the space. Called customer service multiple times and I have to tell the same story over and over again and yet I still get no results. Don't quite understand the inability to get it picked up.Republic Services Inc

1 starI cancelled my service on 5/31/24 due to escalating rates and was owed a refund for a month of service. I was told I would receive a refund check within 6 to 8 weeks. Nothing. I called on 8/8/24 and was told there must have been a computer glitch and this happens in 1% of the cases and I could expect a check in 4 to 6 weeks. I asked to speak to a manager who said she would look into having the credit card I used reimbursed within ************************************** my community this is happening a lot with this company.Review fromChasity F

They took over for ********. stopped taking all the trash, wont offer bulk pickup, tore up my driveway using it to turn around in which is unnecessary. Charge late fees when I dont have any. Charge cancellation fees even when you are paid up to date just to throw the can away. They took my can and crushed it out of spite because they saw my new can from Another business. I still had weeks left I paid on. The guy's actual words were "well if I see another company's can im taking mine." Yours? I can have more than one service especially if I'm paying for it! They are rude and dont care about sucking every ***** they can for imaginary fees I have it all on video too.Republic Services Inc

I will absolutely add to the list of how horrible this company is! Scheduled bulk pickup for Monday, 12AUG. Was told to put items out by 7am and they could be picked up as late as 6pm. 6pm came and items still outside. But wait! Cant call to report it cause office closes at 5 pm. So I call first thing Tuesday morning, file an mis-pick up, which buys them 48 hrs to pick up the original bulk items. Its now Wednesday and I still have the items outside. I live in a townhouse neighborhood with no curb so items are blocking my garage door. Does Republic care.. no! They just submit a ticket that the driver will see. No notes from driver as to why Monday was a mis-pick up. Representative tells me to call tomorrow morning if the items dont get picked up which all that will do is buy another 48 hours to pick up the missed mis-pickup. You all are garbage!Republic Services Inc

If I could give them all 0s and no stars I would. The absolute worst ever. Hidden fees from the very beginning. **************** is beyond the worst. Call escalated to supervisor who seemed just as lost as I did regarding all the fees and what I was initially. The service is way to expensive quarterly and strictly a rip off.Republic Services Inc
