I have been talking to billing for over a month calling one or two times a week and I keep getting the its been escalated and we are waiting for a response. Each time I am told someone will contact me with in 48 hours and you guessed it no call backs nothing. I originally told them I was part of an HOA community with a set rate but it changed and I was told we no longer work with them regarding set rates, spoke with our HOA president and I have been over paying for a little over a year and so I am due credits but they are not fixing it and I keep getting the same response. Worst trash service in the whole world. I imagine any 3rd world country would do a better job at servicing their clients if given the opportunity. They don't even provide customer service or do their jobs, business reps dodge calls to customers, tell lies about a rollover contract being valid, just poor salesmanship, missed trash, not communicate on price increases, all of the above. WE'VE BEEN A CUTSOMER FOR OVER 10 YEARS AND THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. It's companies like these that make me want to compete with republic services and start my own trash company to where I can hire people who desire to be apart of mission like ************************* had, The garbage man can!! Not Republic. 1000 complaints here that is terrible. They are like Democrats lying to us expecting us to be fools. Wake up America if we let little companies like republic services get away with taking advantage of us more people will. We have to stand up and take out the trash!!Republic Services Inc

They routinely miss pickups (last week, our recycling; the two weeks before, our yard waste) and then their customer service representatives claim the pickup will occur the next day. It's been a full week since our recycling was missed, I've called them every day since then, and we still haven't gotten the recycling picked up. They have no explanation for me and were also unable to give me any kind of credit for the missed service. Terrible company.Republic Services Inc

This is in regards to whomever manages Republic trash services in our local ***** area. Our trash is supposed to be picked up on Tues each week. Every Monday I can count on receiving a recording stating that pick up will run behind. There's been times it's not even picked up till the following week there so far behind. Yet we have to pay for missed pick **** That's not even my biggest complaint. It's the up and down charges for crappy service. This current bill takes the cake. It's not only a large jump in price it's clearly price gouging. Even mores so in the light of the fact there is a disparity in charges from one neighbor to another with one can like us. My bills for service have ranged from $64.43 to $78.36. This current one $95.48! There should be a legal remedy. Especially since it's affected so many here and in other states they do business. Sounds like they have a CEO who is mismanaging the company or maybe even misappropriating money. I'm considering contacting the ****** of ******** Protection in the Kentucky ************************* to look into this matter if I can't find an alternative company to pick up our trash.Republic Services Inc

If zero stars were an option, that would of been the rating I gave to Republic services. I called to cancel my service as they were trying to charge me ****** quarterly after having them service my address for years. They did offer me a lowered price quarterly, but I had found service for less than half the price, so I just wanted to cancel at that point. When I canceled she stated that they would need me to pay for the remainder of the month, which I understood. She then told me that they would send a new invoice with the corrected amount on it and I would need to pay $40 for container removal. Which I was not impressed by, but agreed. When I received my new invoice after a couple of weeks, it had a 5 dollar late fee on it, which I hesitantly paid, as I knew that I was going to receive and additional invoice for container pickup for 40 dollars and would just have them take the 5 dollars off that invoice. Just received the invoice for the container pickup, which is $50.65, as it is $30 for container pickup, $5.95 for admin fee plus an additional $14.70 for fuel/environmental fee. Not the $40 that I was told. Republic Services takes advantage of loyal customers and charges outrageous fees. I would never recommend them for waste services.Republic Services Inc

When we used ******* for our trash pickup, we rarely had any issues. Then, they were sold to Republic Service and we've had issues every month. Sometimes I get a text saying, "Due to unforseen circumstances, your trash pickup will be delayed by one day", but sometimes I have to call because my entire street was skipped. I had to call again today, and I was told if the truck doesn't come today, my trash will be picked up in 3 days. That's 4 extra days of trash sitting out in 105 heat. Unacceptable!If you are looking for trash services, DON'T choose Republic!!Republic Services Inc

I'd love to give this company ZERO stars. For the five years we owned our home, our fees for trash removal by Republic has almost tripled. I have called to get a lower price, which works maybe for a quarter, then the bill keeps going up. There were times when our subdivision had ZERO trash pick up for a month, and other missed pickups that were NOT during COVID. No reduction was given to our bill for their failure to provide contracted services. I called in June to cancel my services with Republic. I was told at the time that there would be a fee of $78 to pick up my two containers. I specifically asked if this would be the final bill, or would there be fees and taxes and was advised NO fees, etc. When my final bill came, I owed Republic $115.35 to pick up two waster containers at the same time! They charged me $40 for an environmental fee! That's a tank of gas to pick up waste containers. This is absolute price gouging. I am completely DISGUSTED by Republic Services. If I am ever looking to move and Republic Services is my only option for trash removal, I flat out will not purchase that house. I will blast this company on any social media outlet as well for their predatory pricing. $115.35 to pick up trash bins! Ridiculous. This company needs regulated.Republic Services Inc

Horrible price gouging by our local Republic **************** Twice a month garbage pick up for $75 a month. They do not return phone calls. I've been on hold twice for 40 minutes, disconnected twice, and several times saying they'll call back in 24 hours and no call! As a small business owner, after I canceled they are now trying to charge me $450 to get out of my contract. It's been a nightmare. Needless to say they do garbage pick up for our entire small town and several times, they've missed our street for pick up!!Republic Services Inc

I have been dealing with this company for years as well as my father before and until we decided to cancel and the last year we have never had a problem with them. We decided to switch services in the month of March and were told that the payment in March was the last payment and we would be settled up with them. Then after they missed their pick up we had to call and ask why they hadnt and was told excuses and then had to keep their dumpster for almost another week before pick up. Then two months later was told that there is now another fee that the last two phone calls which we specifically asked if we were done pops up with owing more money. Now another fee 4 months after the initial cancellation was in the fine print but after multiple calls with different employees was never brought up till now. Everybody on my street had their trash pickup missed this week. Along with missed pickups multiple times this month. Apparently labor shortages, probably bc they refuse to pay their employees anything near a reasonable salary despite being basically a monopoly.And to replublic, do not reply to this saying you want to resolve my issue by getting in touch with my local branch, bc they don't actually care/won't do anything.Republic Services Inc
