I have been a customer of ********************** for about 10 years. Republic had missed picking up my trash several times and when Republic decided to increase their fuel recovery fee by $20 per billing cycle, I decided not to continue services with them. I discontinued my services and Republic informed me that they will charge $30 per can to pick up the cans. When I received the bill 1 month later, I found I have been charged $30 per can for picking up the cans, $30 for the gas to pick up the can and a late fee because I didnt pay them before I was billed. I would recommend anyone thinking about using Republic for their trash service to be careful. They have a bunch of hidden fees that they will not disclose to the customers. When I call to ask about my billing they just acted like I should have known about all the fees in advance and I should have paid them for their services before I received their bill.Republic Services Inc

I have the republic services company but sound like every time l received my bill the increase the prices. The services is the same even wost l call the best office near me in fairfax Virginia yo complaint because the men leave my trash contenerte in the middle of the road next the put it ok but after that the same thing lm *********************************** to put the container back lm very disappointed with your company ***********************Republic Services Inc

I've been with Republic services for 20+ years, at $150 per quarter! My neighbor has the same service, but pays $155 per year! When I called and asked about it, they gave me a quote for $288 a year! So why $150 a quarter???? Doesn't make sense right? Then, I lost my debit card for automatic payment. They cut my service off! After 20 years, I didn't deserve a phone call??? Needless to say, I will not start service back up with them. I am taking them to court for over charges! Ridiculous! Someone needs to stop them! ASAP!Republic Services Inc

Our recycling bin has regularly been dumped on the street requiring me to clean up after their disposal (and re-filling my bin for the following week.). This company has demonstrated repeatedly that the customer is not important and there is little we can do to select alternative services. They have a functional monopoly on waste removal in our area and it shows in their disdain for their own customers.Republic Services Inc

I pay for recycling services and requested an additional pickup due to it being missed a few times. They scheduled a pickup a week ago and still have not taken my recycling. I called them every day they missed and every day they reassure me they will pick up but it has not happened. They told me they escalated the issue up but I have heard nothing from the company. When I speak to a representative they do whatever they can to get off the phone quickly. I do not feel like customer service is a priority. I am very disappointed with the service and will be cancelling at the end of this cycle. I do not recommend this company for lack of service. I dont understand how they are rated as A plus!! i have never seen a more corrupt business. every quarter, prices go up noting gas prices. $57 a quarter for gas, plus this fee, plus that fee. is this ticketmaster!!!! when i told them i was cancelling, i got a better price. when i declined, i received even a better price. consumers, help me put Republic services in their place. cancel immediately. the wanted to charge $192 per quarter. my new bill with another company is $85. need I say more. by the way, my pick up the container fee went from $45 to $52 and when I received the bill, they said it was overdue. unreal!Republic Services Inc

Absolutely the worst service I can imagine for a garbage pickup service. This is at least the 5th or 6th time this year they are many days over due for garbage pickup at my house. It's supposed to occur once weekly, postponed a day if a holiday occurs in the week. They have again told me it might be the first of next week before my trash ispicked up. Totally unacceptable from one of the most expennsive services in town. Zero stars. Avoid this company. I'm tired of complaining every month or so.Republic Services Inc

I would not recommend this company. They are consistently missing pickups and then when you call, they don't want to give you credit for them. I feel like I spend a good 2 hours per quarter on the phone with some sort of issue. They are inconsistent with their pricing and when they do give you a credit, it is such a low amount. There are lots of common complaints so please review them all prior to signing up with Republic! I don't understand how they have an A+ rating when the service they provide is horrible. My neighbor who lives across the street has the same service I do and she pays 35 more dollars a quarter than I do for the exact same service.Republic Services Inc
