      As others have noted, I would give MINUS 5 stars if I could. AFTER I had cancelled my services and deleted ALL the autopay information for all the methods, they still extracted over $90 two days later. THIS IS FRAUD, as there was no payment information or authorization on hand. Never sign up with them. If you do call, plan to wait ***** minutes for someone to pick up the phone. Of course they are not credited; they don't deserve to be in business at all.

      Garbage literally! Leave wife on hold for 45 min and hang up as they closed. Sorry service. Cancelled.

      If I can give negative stars i would. We have used Republic for at least the past 24 years. After getting tired of the numerous price increases we switched trash services and to find out that they were still going to get one last astronomical fee out of us. The fee was for picking up their own property ( no other trash company's in our area charges to pick up their own property). The last stab was that we were told they would be sending the final bill. When it can it had a late charge on it ( outright stealing). Try to get a hold of them is almost impossible. Please stay away from them...... ***** and ***** ***

      One star is too many. Even under contract, they frequently raise rates. They missed pickup bc of snow, then came a week later and charged 5 times higher than my normal rate, stating it was an unscheduled pickup ??out! Ill find another company.

      I am a Property Manager for a decent sized company and we manage properties all over *************. I simply was just trying to cancel our contract with Republic Services due to the crazy price increases they have put on their commercial accounts. As I tried to cancel our services i was placed on hold for 1 hour and they transferred me 4 times. Everyone there said the exact same thing. Finally i was transferred to our sales representative and she then informed us that we have a contract that we were not aware of. We were informed that if we wanted to cancel our contract that we would have to pay 6 times the average monthly payment which is an astronomical, very unrealistic, and just horrible customer service. My goal here is to get out of contract that we were not fully made aware of the terms. P.S even after your contract expires with them you still have to pay a huge fee to have them pick up the equipment and to terminate the contract. Mind you we have been with republic for 5 years at this location.

      Dedicated violators of city ordinates. They will back their loud trucks up and toss steel garbage containers around on the concrete between 3-5 in the morning where ordinates clearly state that their trucks cannot be used until AFTER these times! They know they are servicing a residential area *** their truckers and dispatchers obviously do not care. We call 5 minutes after they woke up the entire building to find that they willingly send out their trucks SO EARLY neighborhoods that their offices aren't even open. So, if you called to make a complaint, you'd be waiting for their operation hours although they'd still have their truck in your neighborhood tossing around metal containers and waking everyone up. What a joke

      This company has missed our trash pick up on multiple occasions and flat out lied to us about coming out to get our trash. They are the worst customer service and are never held accountable by Cabarrus county officials

      If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst trash company I have ever encountered. Missed pickups, always additional fees, unhelpful customer service. Please pick someone else to service your home or business.

      Service is just awful. On hold for an hour. No email contact. Reported missed pickup online 3 times.

      I just paid my annual $183. Not even a month later they charged for a pay increase of $54. That is a huge increase for customers. Especially customers on social security disability. Who is on a fixed income. Who is already getting government help from *** and other programs. This increase will affect a big group of customers and could lead to homelessness.
