      Residents in my gated community forget to put out their trash containers on pickup day, or they jam them in between vehicles so they cant be grabbed by the arms on the truck. Then they call about a missed pickup, and Republic keeps coming out for a repeat trip. Cant they check cameras or ask the driver?? Customers must be absorbing the cost of these extra trips. I just get mumbo jumbo when talking to them on the phone about it. Its a joke.

      They raise their prices every month - now its triple what we signed up for in the contract.and WAY more than competitors prices. Ive contacted them multiple times over 3 years to have our bills sent to a current email but they keep sending the bills to a former *********** we cant even see the charges. When I asked about our contract end date, I was told someone would call me about it in 2-3 business days. When I asked to have our invoices sent to our email, I was told it would be 2-3 business days (but it hasnt happened in over 3 years so I doubt it will this time). They probably dont want us to see their fraudulent charges or maybe they dont even bother to make up invoices anymore. They charge a new astronomical price each ********** cant do anything about it because its on autopay. I finally found a copy of our ************** is for 3 *************renews for another 3 years without informing you so were locked in unless I can find a loophole. I really wish I could give them negative stars.

      Republic Services is charging us for trash pickup even though they have missed collecting our trash several times. We have received a credit or refund in the past but now we're told that their policies have changed.

      Price gouging at it best..they never informed us that they were going to raise our rates and have been gouging us for 2 years and will do nothing for us. So if you have them call every time your price changes or they will continue to raise your rates even if you have Auto pay. 0 ? horrible service

      I have not had trash picked up for 5 weeks because of some snow. Our street was marked unserviceable even after the snow cleared. No one came to pick up our trash. I called to have our trash picked up and scheduled for the next day. Then I called 3 times in that day to be sure our trash was actually being picked up. I was assured all 3 times that our trash would be pick up by the end of the day. Now I have 5 weeks worth of garbage sitting on the street with animals tearing it open and still no trash pick up. They will not give me a refund they will not pick up my trash. Our entire street has gone without trash pick up for over a month.

      I'm only giving a 1-star because the customer service **** were very respectful. In December of 2024, I received a bill in the amount of $298.67! Shortly after, I closed my account due to high prices. They charged me for the months of *************** plus environmental fees. When I called in December to close my account, they told me that I would receive a refund check for the months I did not use (***************) but paid for. I noticed today that I got billed $19. I called them today (2.5.2025) to discuss why I am getting charged money when I don't have an account. I got billed the removal fee of the trash cans, which is fine. I then asked about the services I paid for Janaury - March that I did not use and they told me they credited my last bill and took the difference of the $298.67. So in reality, they are telling me it costs $317 to remove trash cans for me to pay an additional $19 WHEN I DID NOT USE THE SERVCE FOR 3 MONTHS. It's frustrating to me because I was told in December that I am getting a refund check 6-8 weeks after my account is closed, which was December 31. And now I am out $317 for a service I DID NOT USE.Luckily, there was a competitor that offered lower rates, no environmental fees, and no additional fees. Straight to the point with no question marks. I used to have republic in other homes but now I do not recommend and will not recommend to my neighbors. I live in a new construction neighborhood and with the new homes being built in the upcoming years, I will more than likely steer them away from Republic. Having someone pay over $300 for a service they did use and tell that someone they will get that money back, but don't...shows low integrity, greedy and feels like robbery.

      I've had Trash/Recycling services through Republic services for about 8 years now and live in the *********** area. When you call Republic services, there is typically a note at the end of the message that tells you that there will be a 3 question survey at the end. This morning I called Republic Services about a recent rate increase in my services and called them to see if they could lower it. I was re-routed to a Sales person by the name *****. At the end of the call, once she realized that she couldn't help with the rate increase, she told me to hold for the survey and then deliberately disconnected the phone so I would not be able to take the survey. I called again and was re-routed to another sales person and to my shock, she too did the same thing! I hope someone at the top of the chain is making a note of this unless you just do not care about providing a decent customer service experience and will let this behavior continue!

      After two years of consistent and for the most part quality service, they really let our family down today. For two years they have picked up bags and boxes outside of our bin (set a standard) and today the driver left everything outside of the bin. A bag which was not torn this morning was torn and small toys were poured everywhere. When I called to discuss the service, I was met with a customer service representative with a demeaning tone who asked the same questions over and over and was very unhelpful. I will be gladly taking my money elsewhere as quality service or reliability is not a concern of this company.

      Really disappointed with this companyconstant price hikes & so many fees you cant keep track. Then, when youve finally had enough and decide to cancel, you have to sit on hold for at least ***** minutes to talk to someone. Theyll schedule the pick up of your containers that you already paid for ($40:each when signing up plus fees for a full quarter for the one trip). What they wont tell you is that youll have to pay another $40 for each container plus a full quarter of pick up fees againjust to cancel! After multiple ************** calls their collections department generously will remove the $43 ********** be stuck paying $80 just to be done with them & not get sent to collections. What a complete jokebait &switch for sure & their cover for getting away with this is the fine print on the back of their invoices that no one reads. Buyer beware - find another company to pick up your trash & recycling!

      I would give 1/2 star if I could. Waiting now over 2 weeks for trash pickup. Paid for 3 months in advance and they refused to give me a credit to my account. I talked to a manager who finally gave me a $24 credit. If its not picked up soon I dont know what I am going to do.
