U-Haul of ************************* (9390 9th & *****) Situation that could have been avoided had there been reasonable management. Had to open a case with uhaul customer because I was charged nearly $200 for an extra 2 days, cleaning, and fuel for a truck I had used for a 4 hour, 10 mile trip. After speaking with manager (***** *****) she talked down to me blamed me for the issue all while having evidence proving her wrong. Had to reopen the case today, this manager gives U-Haul a poor representation and needs to be reprimanded, just go and look at the reviews and you start to notice a pattern. Hope anything illegal isnt going on.U-Haul International Inc

I cannot award any stars to this review. I have never been treated so poorly in my life! Uhaul over charged me then, added charges after I turned i the truck early. They said I was late bc the place I dropped it on Saturday was closed until Monday. It wasn't checked in until the afternoon on Monday. I should not have to pay a late fee bc no one works on weekends, seems ludicrous to me! Then they said we were 2 gallons short for gas. We returned it exactly where it was rented to us. How can you tell that a truck that holds 40 gallons, is 2 gallons short...really?! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE INCOMPETENT PEOPLE!!U-Haul International Inc

Again, if zero stars was an option... ******* times i have tried to complete transactions for reservations on the uhaul app and have had difficulties with the app. The app is how the company expects to do business with customers but is lacking basic information. Every time i try to discuss with Uhaul issues I am having trying to do business with this company I am quoted policies by the customer service representatives of language with is contained in their legal contract. Im not sure why these policies which govern the basic business transactions with Uhaul have to be hidden in a uhaul contract and not simply stated in their application for review.U-Haul International Inc

I rented one several Saturdays ago got the truck at 12:45pm went approx.40 miles moved the truck load full of furniture brought it back the same day at 10:30pm logged in the miles and they said we went ****** miles! We did not check the miles before we started ( as I now know I should have cause you cant trust anyone to be honest) this was our first time renting one and last! Just wondering has anyone else had the same problem! this doubled the price! When I checked the truck back in I let them know that night the mileage was incorrect! ?? when i left with truck i had to say on the app.the lights and odometer worked and the truck was clean with no damage the paper work with the odometer reading was signed in the store before we got the truck and i trusted the mileage was correct and did not realize it wasnt until returning. ******* ***** from @u-haul has a easy job of doing nothing to help paying customers.U-Haul International Inc

The absolute worst experience. I had made this reservation online a month prior for a location that was next to my apartment because I don't have a car and wanted to avoid having to **** to the pick up location, which would cause extra fees to my process. TWO days before my pick up & move date, I get a text message changing the location to somewhere 30 minutes away. I was upset but accepted the change because it didn't seem like there was another option and I HAD to be moved out the morning of the rental (Sept 28th) or be fined. I show up at the new location that was an extra 30 minutes out of my way at 7am (which was my pick up time, recorded on my order), followed the instructions to open the truck storage area to find there weren't any keys or any of the supplies that I had ordered along with the truck (the dollies, 2 of them). I first tried to call the shop, which was due to open at 8am. No ********* took 45 minutes for me to reach U-Haul support where the woman was extremely unhelpful and tried to change my pick up location to another place which was an EXTRA 45 minutes from where I was.I was able to get a hold of the shop owner who showed up 45 minutes late. He was so rude and didn't believe that the keys weren't in the truck. He soon realized they were in fact not in the truck but in the return box. I missing a dolly that I needed to move but I've missed my move out window, which cost me an extra $150. No accountability was taken. Every representative I talked to seemed like they had no idea what was going on. I hate that U-Haul basically has a monopoly on moving trucks because if it were up to me, I'd never use your equipment again. I tried so hard to be prepared for a day that I knew was going to be difficult. The LEAST your company could do was give me the items I paid for and have them available at the location and time we originally agreed on.U-Haul International Inc

I placed an order to have 2 Uboxes. I needed them to store items during a remodel and possibly ship them depending on a job offer. I entered in a delivery location to get a delivery quote, otherwise you dont get a shipping quote. You must also enter in an estimated date. U-haul sent me an email saying my boxes had shipped. I immediately called them to see it if they could stop them. The operator said only a manager could assist me and that one would call me. My call is documented in their system. I never got a call back. I got an email saying they were delivered to my destination. The cost to deliver was $2500. The cost to deliver back to my home here where they should be is probably the same. I spoke to an operator on 9/30 around 10:40 PST whom was very condescending and irritable. She said she didnt know what I was speaking of because shes never used the Uhaul website to place an order. She was rude and hung up on me. Im sure its recorded for verification. As it stands, Im out around !!$5000!! and cant access my belongings. I should only be paying the monthly rental fee. I have requested to speak to a manager. I have no idea if one will actually call me since the operator was aggravated and previously the manager never called me back when I needed to stop the shipment. Ive spent ***** minutes on the phone already today waiting. Im not sure what else to do at this point other than this review and possibly seek legal advice. I also used PODS for the rest of my items and did not/do not have this issue. After being a long time customer, I will not be using ******************** again unless they can resolve this issue.U-Haul International Inc

0 if possible lied about a deposit, only notified us after agreement that our drop off location was an extra 35 miles away. Put us over our milage! Had to fuel up right away as truck was almost on E! Ride was so bouncy that most of our stuff looked as if we had just thrown it in there!U-Haul International Inc

They charge $1 administration fee for EVERY small part of your toll trip separately. So basically for example you drive 8 miles in a toll road, totalling 4 dollars normally, you will see a administrative charge of $1 for EVERY single ** **** part of that same single toll trip. That makes a $4 toll charge become $20 instead of $5. This is a total scam. They just charge you several times the administrative fees in a single trip. I have rented 3 UHaul trucks over theI have rented 3 UHaul trucks over the past two years helping people 2 times and this one was for me. Every truck I picked up was filthy and disgusting inside with peoples food dropping in the seats etcone was so bad with dog hair I had to use a blower to get it out of the truck and I mean bad! This was a gas powered blower! This last truck I made notes asking that it was clean and the windshield wipers were safe as the 2nd truck fell off completely. So I made a note asking for the truck to be clean and windshield wipers were in safe operating conditions. I knew I was going to be driving in bad weather. So I guess they dont bother reading your notes and the wipers were shot! The truck had gold glitter all over the cab and left over food from someones mouth were between the seats. So I took it home and cleaned it with pinesol , got an air freshener and wiper blades. They do not maintain there equipment period! Out of all three trucks I should have been paid to drive them! Im a Class A driver and there equipment is awful and should be pulled into the weight stations for inspections! Or you should pull it into the scale and ask for it to be inspected. Anyways if you get one all I can say is good luck! I called three people and asked for some money back for my time and effort and havent heard a word from upper management nor any compensation. They just dont care! So that means you better care and check everything yourself including oil, tire pressure etcif not you will be broke down on the road so definitely pay the money for roadside assistance as its not freeU-Haul International Inc

As you probably already know, your employees broke into my storage because you needed to move my items so they could relocate the unit. In the course of said action destroyed much of my personal property. This was admitted by the then manager of facility. I was told there is video of this, which I have not been able to view. It took months to get Rep ***** insure info. I turned in my claim for the damage and it keeps getting sent back asking for additional information I will complete thier request now that everything is out and I can get to it. Reputable companies would have sent an adjuster immediately to assess the damage. I work with insurance companies all the time and Uhaul 's insurance company ( Rep ***** is the absolute worse scam ever. I suggest avoiding UHaul all together, and get your own insurance. It has now been over a year and a half since I placed my claim with UHaul and ************************** I am still no closer to resolution. They are a multi billion dollar scam! Someone clipped the mirror on the truck, and I had to pay for it before I left the facility. MY RECOMMENDATION USE ANYONE BUT Uhal and for God sake get independent insurance! Do not use UHaul insurance, RepWest, it's a total Scam, and they use stall techniques hoping you will forget. They owe me over $25K I just spent over an hour on hold then it disconnected. If this causes me to take legal action, i assure you punitive damages will be added for ths atrocious act of complete negligence and absurd conduct on the part of both UHaul and RepWest. Charges will include but are not limited to gross negligence, insurance fraud, felony breaking and entering, and willful destruction of personal propertyI wish there was negative stars, they would certainly have a negative number of stars, and it would be WELL DESERVED.U-Haul International Inc
