      These people have no idea what their doing, I specifically asked for a cargo trailer to go out of state and drop off at a different location out of state so when the day to go pick the trailer comes they come out with a box trailer A DAY BEFORE I need to go out of state and say that they cant rent cargo trailers for out of state travel when they told me on the phone they could. The service manager needs to be FIRED and everyone under them. Clearly U-Haul doesnt educate their employees on their own company policies.

      I ordered a '27 truck to facilitate my move out of an apartment in Halifax, ***********. The Uhaul representative confirmed the truck was available three days prior to the pickup date. On the day of pickup, Uhaul contacted me 1.5 hours before the arranged pickup time to inform me I would not be provided with the truck I had requested (and confirmed) and instead they are offering a truck half the size ('15) in another town, a 20 minute drive (8km) from the original pickup location. They offered no solutions, discounts, or any semblance of customer service. Their approach was that this is my problem, and they are not responsible for delivering the agreed upon service.This has made an already stressful situation immeasurably more stressful. Uhaul representatives and management should be ashamed of themselves.

      I ordered a wiring harness with the hitch at the same time with the same money and with the same shipping all one order.When I received the first notice of the purchase, I was given two different billing statements. ****** was notified about this peculiar event and was clearly advised that both items would arrive together. The harness arrived within time alloted, the hitch did not arrive.****** was informed of this discrepancy and said that the hitch would arrive by Thursday of the same week in question of the harness delivery. Thursday came and went with no delivery of the hitch.Again, ****** was informed of the negligence of the aforementioned promise of Thursday delivery. Reason given was the hitch shipment was botched order procedure within ****** system and admitted the delay laid in the hands of ******. ****** was informed that there was a question of shipping methods from the very first contact and did nothing but give false hope on services rendered. Eventually ****** informed that the hitch would be shipped overnight for the inconvenience of the botched services promised. Well, needless to say the overnight delivery came and went with no delivery of the promised hitch. The overnight tracking number was investigated, turns out ****** lied again and the shipment is a week or more for delivery, not overnight, with the apologies and another fictional promise Now ****** wants this stupid survey filled out to waist more of my time waiting on fictional promises.I'm not asking for anything without paying. I have used ****** faithfully during my time in the military, and now after my retirement I hope to continue doing business with ******. However, knowing this email will not be taken seriously I would request some kind of incentives to keep my services.I did pay everything in full up front and now ****** has lied to me again.So now what? I don't believe in ****** anymore.

      Terrible service, scheduled a reservation for a car hauler trailer. The day before was told there are none available within 120 miles of my area and there's nothing they could do. I would have to drive to pick it up myself, and then they said it might not even be available when I get there!What's the point of scheduling a reservation if they won't accommodate you?It's a shame there's not other rental places in my area.

      I rented a U-haul on Friday 5/5/23 so I could move my daughter s stuff out of her college dorm. I reserved it for a location near me, so I estimated that the ******************* would be around 50 miles. *** day b4 my pickup, a rep called me and said the location nearest me doesnt have the van that I initially reserved so she gave me a place about 20 miles away and indicated that they will be opened around 10. I pulled up to the location and the place was CLOSED and they didnt open until 12. I was livid bc my daughter had to be out or at least moving out at that time. Luckily an employee came in early and I told him what was going on and he gladly tried to assist. Welllllll, they didnt have the van either, but went to a nearby uhaul and got me a smaller truck bc they also didnt have a van. While I was so appreciative for the guys going out of their way to help me, that added an additional 50 miles to my trip that I wasnt intending to pay for. I give the gentlemen who assisted me five stars, but Im very displeased about the extra fees I had to incur and the miss information I received from the uhaul rep.

      Ill NEVER USE AND COME BACK OR GIVE MY RECOMMENDATION TO MY FRIENDS TO THIS UHAUL STORE IN ******* AGAINIve never seen such unacceptable charge of 484$ for something I didnt even do. The reason of my concern was: I booked a 9 cargo Van yesterday. Everything start well until I paid the rent and after this nothing!! the employee didnt even show up for checking up with me the Van if its OK. None!! I saw a HUGE CRACK in front windshield that I forgot to mention in Uhaul website but when I drove out the store, the lady was in front of the van didnt even say something. You might check the windshield there is something Whatever!!! **************** = 0!!! Dropped back the Van after two hours the manager and the employee checked the van and I showed them up my picture that I took afterwards about the front windshield crack The manager said the picture was taking afterwards yes and so, I tried to explain him that I forgot but he didnt care about I said and told to his employee to charge me straight forward that I did the damage and the windshield crack without any proof!!!! And didnt even care about what the customer tried to explain he thought that I was frauding!!!! Seriously??? I asked him to watch on his cameras he refused it for getting a video from the previous customer that made that crack front windshield. Accused me that I did!!! The employee tried to charge me $484 with my credit card without my consent!!! This is FRAUD!! At the end, I felt so FRUSTRATED AND UPSET that I havent choice to pay as per their policy. I asked BBB to get a refund and an apologize for what they have done. Charged me for something I didnt made ??

      I am disgusted with uhaul as of today. I was charged 5 times at ****** for a truck that i never took. I am beyond mad at uhaul for their system glitching. I have called customer care and they cannot do anything about it because it is on hold. And the credit card company cannot do anything about it until it is posted. The one woman on the phone said "i havent seen the system do this before and i have been here 2 years".

      Reserved a large truck to move. Its not available. Offered a smaller truck for MORE money. They did offer more miles so I could make multiple trips. If Im not out of my house in time, I lose rental income.

      If you have belongings and furniture that you value, I would NOT entrust their care with U-Haul.Im speaking from experience. Moving can be a very stressful time with lots of moving parts and decisions.We originally went with the competition PODS everything went smoothly with PODS the containers were clean and solidly put together to secure the contents. However, we had an overflow of items at the last minute and reached out to the local U-Haul. Big mistake!!Let me clarifywe paid on time each and every month like clockwork for over a year until we settled into a home.Initially, they could not locate the trailerthen they said it was moved to another facility several miles away( 25 miles) We were never notified of the move even though they had contact information. Upon finally getting to the trailer, we noticed that the lock had been changedagain, there was never a payment issue. The guy at the warehouse broke the lock to help ** out. What we found was a horror! The content had clearly been gone through with storage boxes opened and wrapping paper discarded. Broke items and heavy water damage ( had to throw out 2 antique chairs full of mildew and several books.)We filed a police report with the original location (*********, **) When I questioned the police officer if this sort of thing happens often, he said well it had happened before at this site. Nothing came of itfelt that this could have happened between the two facilities and no one owned up to it!! blab blab The girl at the *******, ** site credited me $100 Tell all your friends and neighbors NOT to use U-Haul this can definitely happen to you!!

      THE LOCATION WAS NOT THE ISSUE!! ******** Lumber was great and very helpful!! The problem was with U-HAUL company itself and this online reservation system. I had a reservation for a truck that was not at that location and hadn't been. I was never contacted via phone or email that there was a problem with my reservation before the time I went to pick it up. The person that the ******** folks called said they had called me several times, they absolutely did not!! I had no missed calls or voicemails. Not did I have any other emails from U-HAUL other than me confirmation. I was told this has been an ongoing issue for will over a year with U-HAUL. It's best to just call the locations that have U-HAUL and reserve. COMPLETELY AVOID the online U-HAUL service!!
