Moving Labor hired thru uhaul website damaged our property. Even with moving help refunding the $245 charge, we're out $150. Uhaul charged $175 for insurance but the Repwest agent now says because we didn't pay even MORE for "safe load" we are ***.On 5-5-23, ***************** rep ***** failed to tell me at start of telephone call that call was being recorded. This is a violation of ******* law It is illegal to record or intercept a telephone conversation in ******* without the consent of all parties to the conversation. Fla. Stat. 934.03(2)(d).Uhaul advertises the contract moving help under the icon "moving labor" according to *****, the people list on this tab are not required by uhaul to carry business insurance and this is "just a ****** search". I vetted the company we contracted with and still got screwed. IF UHAUL TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHO THEY ALLOW AND PUT FORTH AS ADDED SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS, YOU SHOULD BE CAUTIOUS.U-Haul International Inc

Rented a trailer from here and was charged more then 5 times over from what the original price was because I brought it 2.5 hours past the due time, even though I called 2 hours in advance to let them know that I had issues with my truck. I was told it will be an additional $40.99 for additional 3 hours which didn't make sense since it's the same price for 24 hours and we had it for only 21 hours in total, instead I was charged $340.98. When I called the customer service again they kept putting me on hold and transferring me until we got disconnected. I'm not normally the one to complain, but that is completely unacceptable.U-Haul International Inc

I had made reservations for yesterday 7A-7P in 110 US 1 ******* **. Yesterday, a rep had to change my reservations because the truck I rented didn't have a ramp. He knew the hrs needed to rent and he failed to make correct adjustments so a so call "manager" named ***** left a rude and very unprofessional voice message stating that the truck was suppose to be returned by 7A and in a threatening fashion proceeded to pretty much say if I don't return the rental and if the cops pull me over it will not be good. I called this so call "manager" to figure out the issue and why the unprofessionalism, she stated she was just saying the truth. As if that's a way to speak to customers. Ok. I continued on to tell her truck should be returned as soon as I was done before 7P. Needless to say, they charged me $66 on the first day fine but then my card was charged $111 in which she stated that is a pre authorization in case I didn't return truck, right. Once truck was returned I was charged another charge of $148. Spoke to another rude rep ****** whom refused to provide her name for what ever reason and stated I was charged for a second day. So in total they withdraw $325 from my account for not even a 2 day rental. I will be going to my lawyer because this is ridiculous and outraged.U-Haul International Inc

Any amount other than what is listed on the final receipt is a hold/authorization that should automatically drop within 5 business days. BUYER BEWARE AT UHAUL MILFORD PARKWAY:$7,000 DAMAGE to my Land Rover over a trailer hitch and treated me like a second class citizen the day of my visit?They caused $3,500 to my ignition cylinder by ripping the key out after I showed the tech two times how to insert and remove my key.Couple that with $3,500 damage done to the electrical system because he didn't know how to wire the electric harness correctly and blew my electric system up.UHaul would not cover the damage so my insurance company covered it and is arbitrating with the UHaul.The manager ********* was rude, disrespectful and her GM and the adjuster were even worse.DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.U-Haul International Inc

An apology for the abhorrent behavior of the ** of this store, her **, and the adjuster should be made. You have over ***************************************************************************************************************************** for no reason.The ** of the ** did not want to hear what I had to say. He gave me 2 minutes and told me they were up. He also said he has a team of attorneys in ******* ready and waiting. And not one apology and not one investigation into the Gm's horrible behavior towards me that day. As an owner of a business, a corporate Educator for global companies, a local politician, and a master of customer service protocol, I would have watched footage and fired the **. I would have listened to the recorded call of the **'s ** and fired him also. The customer may not always be right but they deserve to be heard. I was not heard. Just threatened.Review fromAmy

I was almost. in a major collision when my brakes failed me upon leaving Uhaul in *********. They nicked the brake line when trying to fit a bolt. Brake fluid totally drained out within a matter of minutes. Numerous call to ********* manager have not been returned. We have pictures and testimonies etc .U-Haul International Inc

I have a contract stating that they were to deliver the ubox on 4/17. I signed the contract on 3/7. Turns out they don't deliver on Monday or Tuesday. I called and the reservation department assured me they'd get delivered today. And now they won't be here till 4/19. Completely unacceptable. They made zero attempts to correct this issue. don't rent a storage unit from U-Haul they rip people off I had a storage unit there I just cleaned it out yesterday and I payed my rent for the month of April and I was not expecting to find a place to live but I did and they refuse to give me any of my money back but the paperwork I signed states that rent is payed in advance is considered prepared rent and will be refunded upon vacating U-Haul has so many bad complaints don't wast your moneyU-Haul International Inc

Hello *****. I apologize for any confusion with your storage contract. The contract states "Rent paid in advance is considered prepaid rent and will be refunded upon vacating. There is no refund for unused days if you vacate after the rent due date of the current month." Rent paid in advance means you paid more than the current month - you paid for future rental month(s). The contract states there is no refund for unused days during the current paid month. If you rent from U-Haul beware that if you provide them with a return time, or use time in hours, and you're one minute over that time U-Haul hits you for another day. For example: rent a truck for 2hrs and you return it 2hrs 1min, you will be charged for 2 days. Always always say you're keeping the truck for 24hrs. That's what you're paying. You can always return it sooner without a penalty...until, of course, U-Haul figures out they can hit you on an early return.,U-Haul International Inc

I reserved a truck on March 7th for April 1st. When I arrived at the facility I was met with cursing and hostility and they gave my reservation to someone else. I was credited $50 for my reservation being cancelled (which was fine) I wanted to talk to the store manager about the treatment I received but he was even worst and he hung up on me. This is the most unprofessional U-Haul facility I have ever been too, the two young ladies who work there are absolutely horrible for cursing at the customers and the manager there needs more training or maybe needs to have his qualifications re-examined because there is no way he should be a manager of anything. I will NEVER use this company for anything and I will spread the word to anyone who will listen, NEVER USE THE UHAUL ON *****************************************U-Haul International Inc
