      After being bounced around and having to drive more than 3 hours and experience a 5 hour wait for a scheduled hitch install, attempting to leave a response for their customer service the next day, I had experienced a three hour hold session just to be hung up on before reaching a human being. Absolutely atrocious customer service and organization.

      I just received a letter in the mail from Uhaul saying their systems were hacked from when l rented a Uhaul when I moved to my new house. So my personal information, address, name, DL number were all compromised, they claim my debit card was not. Their solution? One free year of credit monitoring, and a letter to inform me what happened. I am beyond furious, you trust in a well know business to protect your personal information but the fact is nothing is personal anymore. So, someone can basically make a fake ID with my personal information and do God knows what, and its on me, because I chose to rent a uhaul to move my stuff. This feels like a breach of contract, If I could give no stars I would.

      ****************************************************** artist. Worked with ********************* who has zero ethics. My quote was for $515.00. The bill came in at $1,080. They refused to unload the van until payment was made. Who has $565.00 in cash with them? The amount of furniture moved was exactly what was stated. He knew the distance to where they were going. Even if it took an extra hour, which is debatable, should you be charged $565.00 more?****** also refused to get on the phone with me at that time and refuses to call me back. There are other movers, do yourself a favor and find one.

      I needed to do a one way move. I called the closest Uhaul location. They were booked up and gave me the number of the Tennessee headquarters to call and help me find a location that had the size truck I needed, 26ft for a one way the following weekend. They told me they can only book within 48 hours. The website says differently, and the location I just called was booked up a week in advance. I started calling every location in the next town over to see if they had the truck I needed. Finally after 5 calls, I found a location that had a 26ft truck available for a one way on the day I needed. Got it booked. The next day I get a call from the Tennessee headquarters saying they did not have the authority to make that booking, cancelled my booking and told me it was now at a different location on the same street, a few miles away. I made the appointment for a later time because I was driving 2.5 hours to get there and did not know how traffic would be on a Friday. I arrived early, I have never done this. I was not sure how long the process would take to pick up. The truck was not there and would not be there for over an hour. But the location down the street, on the same street, where the headquarters cancelled my reservation at, had the truck. I knew this location, nice downtown area. The location they moved me to, the man was rude on our initial interaction. He was nice when I came back an hour later to get the truck, when it finally arrived. The locations should have the products in stock that the customers are told are in stock. This location was not as nice of a location. The man at the return location was rude towards me and other staff members when I went to return the truck. Was not a good experience at all. Should not have been this hard to find/rent from a rental company. Consistency is key. And actually following through with what your company says.

      I reserved a 20' truck to be picked up at a Chatsworrh GA. Arriving at this location i qad not able to acessess thr truck. Agent at cpu ter said that the truck keys where looked in back, and she didnt have the code for the lock. After calling U- haul customer service i was told i could pick up a truck in the next town. ***************** and i would be charged the rate for the turck i could not pick up in **********. Now i am veing charged almost double for a mess up U-**** themselfs made. I have spoken to U-haul customer service multiple times and the issue is not resolved. And i as the consumer is having to pay for there errors.

      KD Mart ************************************************************************ Those two people who were serving me have no customer service skills at all; this is unfortunate to have those lower-level people in the Uhaul Business. The woman name **** orders the Guy to stop helping me and instead call the police to kick me out of the store. It is a shame to see a big company like Uhaul hire 3rd Glade people to work for them. At least **** and the Guy need Basic customer service training.Shame, Shame, Shame.

      They are ripoff artists they double charge people for renting there trucks. And when confronted they about refunding the money that is owed back to the customer they figure out a way to not return it

      Well. What can go wrong with this sh!tty U-Haul company again? First, I made the reservation for a truck 3 months before I needed it. When I got there, there was no truck for me. Second the guy tells me they have a bigger truck that they can give me. I said, for the same price, right? He said no. Not only that but the mileage per mile was also more. I said you must be kidding... He wasn't. He then proceeded to tell me I have a moral choice to make. Go somewhere else or take a truck from someone else who has booked it already. W.T.F. kind of service is that. Unfortunately, I had NO choice as I was on a time crunch for the truck so not only did U-Haul fu@k me but also the poor SOB that was also now without a truck.This is my second s*** experience with U-Haul in 3 months. The last time I had a truck reserved at a different location and when I got there, they said my truck was at a different site and I had to go there to pick it up. When I got there was no one there to help at the office as it wasn't open. Not only that but due to the distance it was going to cost me many more miles which would end up costing me more money. When I messaged the company for a refund due to their mistake, they flat out told me no.Anyone that needs to rent a truck I would HIGHLY recommend looking elsewhere for a rental. Either that or plan an extra 4-5 hours to get a truck and plan on spending about 1/3 ***** than they tell you.

      I made a reservation online and you could choose location and so I did for pickup. I got a call to confirm what I needed for size of vehicle and they said they didn't have any trucks that size at the location I picked. So I had to cancel. I called the location I chose and they said they had 2 trucks for rent, so which is it. The company wanted me to go to ********* to charge me more mileage. Plus I wasn't feeling safe that companies don't talk to each other or just play dumb. People need to be honest and stick by better work ethic when dealing with customers.

      On July 25, 2022 I drove up to Uhaul in ******** ** and rented a 17 foot truck. It was all they had available so I paid them upfront $100. I set the mirrors before heading out and noticed that when I got to the house my drivers side mirror had shifted some. With how busy I was moving, I paid little attention to it because I assumed that the trucks were well taken care or it was just a small issue. After loading the truck and leaving on the first trip to the new house, I noticed that the mirror was really moving and I thought it was just the vibrations in the road. I crossed a busy intersection and the mirror came tumbling off right there and broke on the street. I parked the truck and went back for it. We only had a couple hours left to do what we needed to do at our house, so I went back and loaded up for the last time. On this trip I had to drive with the mirror detached but I drove safely and realized that it had been completely broken off when they gave it to me, so there was no way to fix it. As we got closer to the house, I noticed the temperature gauge was climbing fast and before long it started smoking heavily. We pulled up to the house and unloaded as quickly as we could, finishing around midnight. Tried to return the truck that night, but it overheated and quickly started smoking just taking it down the driveway. I called Uhaul immediately the next morning, and spoke to their customer service, arranged to meet their technician and bring the truck back. It had zero coolant in it. A manager called me back a couple days later and we discussed what happened. He told me he would only charge me for the miles that I used (Roughly 35) and the truck itself, since I couldn't pull a burning, no-mirror truck into the gas station. Uhaul charged me several times and has taken more than twice what I owed them, then argued with me that I owe them for fuel and a late fee plus other fees. I want my money back and for them to uphold the managers original plan.

      The last person I spoke to indicated that a manager had agreed to refund money back to me and that it would take 3-5 business days. I was also told that my phone conversation would be reviewed and that I would receive a call within 72 hours. This was last week Tuesday and it is now Thursday of the following week. I'm not finding that Uhaul is working to solve this dilemma.

      I received an email from Uhaul stating that they had not been able to contact me. I called them back on the number that was provided and was told by the gentleman that he was out of his office and would call me back. A callback was never received. I sent several follow up emails and tried calling the number back, but have received no reply. Previously, I was told that I would receive at least a partial refund due to the circumstances, and I was also told that there would be a review of the phone call in which I was promised a refund, however I did not receive that follow up call either. It appears to me that Uhaul does not take my complaint seriously, that they have no ability to follow up on these matters, and that they would prefer to sweep my situation under the rug and forget about me. I will definitely be pursuing this matter until I get a decent response from the company that felt like I should have to pay extras and fees despite their lack of accountability on maintaining their own vehicles.
