Went in to get my tires rotated (tires I purchased there) at the *****, ********, location.They are always rude and barely acknowledge your presence, by the way.The guy was definitely trying to SCAM me from the get-go, basically because I'm a female.I told him what I needed, and he didn't even look me up in the system. He just said, okay I'll take a look ti make sure everything looks fine with the tread and all this other bs, so I could tell he was already trying to set me up as easy "prey."He comes back in and refuses to rotate them because he was trying to sell me new tires. I told him I was not buying anything, and then he pressured me to buy. I took my keys and left. I'm 46 and a schoolteacher. I pretty much have a built-in BS detector. I will never use them again. It's false advertising to say they rotate tires for free. What a joke. Got my oil changed right after I left, and those guys agreed (after looking at my tires) that this guy lied to me.Business Response

On March 25th I came in to get a tire fixed and America's tire refused to do the job because they said there was a problem with one of my lug nuts. I left and got the job done somewhere else I noticed one month later that America's tire had not removed the charge from my card so I called them. ******* V explicitly refused over the phone to refund my card. Additionally there's no explanation as to when they planned to remove the charge from my card otherwise for work they never did. The charge is now entirely illegitimate, I was put on hold 20 minutes to request that it be removed and that request was refused.Business Response

Hello,I am filing this complaint against the Business Discount Tired due to a product that I was looking at purchasing. The product was the ******** Defender 2 product item ID: ******. The price I was quoted for (4) tires was $157.88 with the certificates included. This was quote was sent to me by Discount Tires ************************ agent ******** *******. However, when I went to try to checkout for this quote the item showed discontinued no longer in stock. I found another ******** Defender 2 product item ID: ******. There were two sets of ******** Defender 2 sets of tires I was inquiring about below for my vehicle.

For the item ****** I received an online quote on 04/24/2025 that was provided and valid for 30 days from Discount Tire. However, when I tried to access the quote it showed this quote was cancelled. I came to find out that this product was / is being discontinued and not available at Discount Tire.
Therefore, per speaking with Discount Tires ************************ today I was informed that Item ****** was available and Discount Tire would be able to honor the $157.88 price for this set item due to the previous item being discontinued. The discussion I had with Discount Tire ************* was about if for any reason there became a time where if I had the item (******) set on my vehicle and a tire needed to be replaced I would most likely have to have another tire of the same size but not the exact tire to match the set put on my vehicle. I normally purchase the certs when I make my purchases to be fully covered in case of any arising issues.
Moreover, I had asked Discount Tire ************* about the new price quote for item ****** being sent to me. I was told a new quote was provided but I do not recall ever receiving it. Due to my work schedule throughout the week I had originally planned to make my purchase online at Discount Tires website and have everything paid for and an appointment scheduled to when I would be available to come to Discount Tire. If the Discount Tire in ******************** has the updated quote for item ****** please send it to me so that I can complete my online purchase for the ******** Defender 2 tires for my **** Fusion.

I stopped today to get a tire that goes low every few days for the past month or so to get it patched. I waited probably an hour for a worker to tell me news about my tire which was right in the time period they estimated all good. The employee told me the tire is un repairable because there is a nail too close to the side wall for their liking's. He said what would you like me to do? I said put the tire back on and Il run it and pump it up whenever it needs it, he refused and said no they are not putting the tire back on because he said its a liability and I need to buy a new tire. I told him i didnt want to but he showed me an all terrain tire the only ones he had and they were like 300 some dollars and hed recommend getting all 4 because having a different tire on can cause damage eventually to my powertrain. He then said that he could put my spare tire but its a steel rim and a different tire and size I guess and he said he wouldnt leave it on long I need a new tire. So he showed me street tires instead of the all terrains and I had to buy a 148$ street tire to leave because I dont have to money to buy a new set of tires or the 300$ some dollar all terrain tire that was way different then I had on my truck. What if I didnt have a spare tire or enough money to buy a new tire were they going to keep my truck? Since they wouldnt give my tire they deemed I fixable that Ive been driving on for the past how long for. Now I have a tire they wouldnt recommend driving on my truck because its different then the rest of my tires. I dont understand how they can keep my tire. If i hit a nail tomorrow and go back to them are they going to say the same thing and make me buy another tire to give themselves business? Idk I guess id like for them to get me the same tire thats already on my truck seeing they wouldnt give the one back that i went in with. And to reimburse me for the tire they scammed me to buy and they can have the tire backBusiness Response

Talking it over with the discount tire team isnt gonna get anywhere, my review is what I experienced and what the worker told me. Discount tire kept my tire I paid for that I drove in on and have been driving on. They told me the that driving on a different tire then what the other three are can cause damage to my truck but yet I couldnt get my tire that matched the other ones put back on and had to buy a totally different tire so I could leave, how can you refuse to give my tire that is my property that I have paid for back? Now I paid you guys a 148$ to get a tire that is different put on my truck that the worker said could cause damage to my truck driving it. So now what i still have to buy another tire so i can match the other 3 or 3 tires to match the new one? Absolute scam if you ask me, I want a matching tire put back on my truck, even if I got reimbursed for the tire that doesnt match I still have to spend more money to buy a matching tire. I want a matching tire ordered for my truck seeing I was refused to get my tire back

Vehicle was properly documented of having no physical damage at all around the vehicle. Vehicle was picked up with a large dent in the rear driver panel. Discount tire's claims team is refusing to review my claim on the basis on lack of evidence - when Discount Tire intentionally does not install cameras in any of its stores. For a large company handling personal property, it seems that this is a bad business practice to avoid liability.Business Response

On 2/24/2025 (Monday) I had an appointment at 1530hrs Discount tire in the ***** location, I meat with ****** and he checked me in and I asked him to please let whoever will be performing the service on my truck to please handle with care as these rims are worth alot and super hard to even order. ****** replied that he will definitely put in a note and let them know personally. Well my truck was dirty due to the bad ************ storms that we had during week. So on 3/1/25 (Saturday) it was a beautiful day and a perfect day to detail my truck. While cleaning the truck as I got to my rims found out that all four of my rims were heavily damaged and scratches on the inside barrel and the face of the spokes. I immediately stopped what I was doing and called Discount tire and ****** answered the phone and I was explaining everything to that I discovered, ****** was very apologetic and ask me to send him photos of all the damages to his personal phone number and he would call me back with the next steps. I sent ****** all the photos and he called back and asked if I could come by the stop to see the rims in person that the Supervisor (***) was already aware of this so he could talk me and rectify this for me, I said I am on my way. When I arrived got with ****** and *** looked over all the rims and he was also disgusted with what happened to my rims and he service I received and took plenty of pictures, *** said that he would contact a mobile wheel guy and will be in contact with me by Monday the latest. I waited and never heard back from anyone and I went back to discount on 3/6 to ask and a store manager said let me get *** for you and *** said he will call you, I said this is ridiculous and on 3/12 ***** the mobile rim guy called and set appointment for 3/13. ***** came to my house at 930am and showed him all the rims and he was also shocked on how bad my rims were damaged, ***** stated he was not confident that he fix it. On November 27, 2024 I brought my 2015 ****** Crosstrek Hybrid, I had 4 new tires put on, an oil change, a coolant flush and a tire rotation. On Saturday, March 1, ********************************************************* He got the front done but couldn't do the rear because one of the nuts and rods on the driver's side was broken. He couldn't remove the nuts. The Discount Tire in *****, ********** , a mechanic overpressure and the broken nuts. I called that day. Someone said of course we will take care of it, just bring the car in, so I went there on Wednesday. The man working there denied that the nuts were broken. ****** charged me $75 to remove the nuts. At 9:00-9:15AM at the 3575 Pilot K*** Rd, *****, ** location, my mother went to get tires installed that I had gotten her elsewhere. The guy "helping" her tried to manipulate and lie her into buying a set of new tires from them and told her they wouldn't install them unless she did. Eventually this sleazeball was talked down into doing his job and installed the tires she had brought. Come time for payment this guy then charges her a total of $77 for two tires installed on the front. Do the math - $23/tire install and $3.50 ea. for disposal we're looking at around $50 maximum NOT $77. Other bs charges are for "rotation" and "dismounting" which are included in the service, for FREE, per Discount Tire's own website. No other Discount Tire location has EVER said anything of this sort to her or tried charging her fees of this type! Total scammers and I will be expecting compensation for this - UNACCEPTABLE taking advantage of an older woman you people are garbage.Business Response

Discount Tires Poway CA replaced two tires on my 2023 Airstream Bambi 19cb trailer on August 30, 2024. In the process they used a portable **** on an incorrect **** point than was underneath the grey water tank of the trailer and did at least $3300 in damage. This damage was well hidden and went undiscovered for 4 months. When I then brought it to their attention, they refused to pay for the damage.Business Response

Ive been a loyal customer of ********************** for **+ years. Im extremely disappointed in the management. Discount damaged my vehicle while installing my rims and tires. If you look at the photos my truck happened to be parked in front of the machine that puts the rims on the tire. The body shop said it was caused by impact from probably someone carrying a tire or someone bumping into it. They have the absolute worst 3rd party claims management company handling issues like these. I was assigned a Claims specialist **** for a third-party issue with discount tire. **** delivered extremely unprofessional service. He refused to call me back or return my emails, after waiting 7 days he emailed me stating the adjuster found no fault. He listed off several reason why but all were inaccurate. He said the claim was reported 4 days after the vehicle was worked on by discount tire, thats incorrect. The incident was reported within 24 hours of service by discount tire. **** also stated discount denied any possible damage. I spoke with **** the store manager at discount tire and he told me one of the techs could have bumped into the grill with a tire causing the damage. **** would have had all this information had he not performed such unprofessional communication. I spoke with the manager at the ********** location he said the claims company handles all of this he cant help me. If you just look at fleetresponse reviews they are all the same, horrible service and all they do is deny all the damage of any company they represent.Business Response
