My family and I became members of Solidarity in 2020 and paid $599 per month through the end of 2021 and saw almost no benefit. We are still waiting on 2 bills to be paid from 6/29/2021. These were for our kids wellness visits to the pediatrician, which were supposed to be provided as a benefit for our membership! I am afraid to set up a payment plan with the provider because if I do, I will probably never be reimbursed by Solidarity. These are going on 2 years without being paid! I dont know what kind of excuse they will make as to why it would take that long to process bills. We would have saved so much money just getting basic insurance instead of paying them $599 a month for a year and a half with no benefit! I have spent countless hours on the phone on hold waiting to speak to representatives and when finally speaking to them, getting the run around. The same goes for their billing service, AMPS. They have tried getting Solidarity to send them an EOS 5 times already. The pediatricians office has also tried reaching out to them several times with no response. I have wasted so much time trying to get them to pay and it is probably all for naught!Solidarity Healthshare

They have paid nothing. I have paid for everything in the past 3 years including a bill I just had to pay for my Nov., 2022 physical. I had an outstanding surgery bill from 2/2022 that has not been paid. The surgery center was told today that they had to wait yet ANOTHER 90 days so I was asked to pay it in full today. THIS WAS A SURGERY THAT WAS PRE-APPROVED by Solidarity. Solidarity Healthcare is not a good option. I have had to dip into my savings to pay this surgery and this is certainly detrimental to households on a fixed income.Solidarity Healthshare

This company is a scam. They make it so difficult to file claims their end game is to hope the consumer gives up so they don't process your claims to pay you. Also, if you do get lucky and get a claim processed after a year then you have to wait until they have the funds from members paying their monthly dues to pay you. They don't have the funds to cut you a check whenever it's processed and accepted. Such a scam and not what I signed up for. There is a disclaimer they are not obligated to pay or reimburse you at all!! The worst company I have dealth with. Even when you provide them with all the info they kick it back out again saying you didn't and you have to go get the info again. They don't have any way to look up info and their claim is they didn't get it. So you end up doing it multiple times. Again, the end game is to hope you just give up. I have spoken to dozens of reps, you can't even speak to the same one, I have spoken to the manager *****. She calims it's not her job to help you it's her job to manage the customer service reps. It's not her job to talk to you over the phone to help you. Even made a claim she was going to put in the notes I wasn't allowed to call back in again to get help to rectify my claims. Every rep I have talked to tells you different answers every time. They can't find claims you have sent in or paperwork you've sent in. They don't know what they are talking about. It's the worst process and you go around in circles. Everytime you call it's an hour plus on the phone. Do yourself a favor don't use them. Just don't. I paid for everything out of pocket cash thinking it would make it easier for them to reimburse me. NOPE!! Scam and fraud! Not Christian people and not a Christian company.Solidarity Healthshare

This isn't a Christian company. You have made it impossible to submit claims and receive reimbursement. None of your employees are on the same page. Everyone tells you a different answer. No one can look up anything you submitted previously. The process time of over 300 days is rediculous and unacceptable. No wonder health providers don't want to deal with this company. It's a scam. You want to make it so difficult the consumer gives up. No one has hours each week to spend on the phone talking to your reps that don't know what they are doing. This process goes around and around in circles. I have submitted claims multiple times with the same info multiple times because they can't look up what I previously submitted. The email department can't talk on the phone and who are the ones emailing me about my claims. The reps can't talk to the email department. It's a flaud system and you do it on purpose. I had family members with this company and they had the same experience. We all pulled our membership and were scammed by this compy. **************************SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM********************************I WILL TELL EVERYONE ABOUT HOW MUCH OF A SCAM THIS COMPANY IS**********************************Review fromTheresa L

We've had Solidarity for a little over 4 years. Our first two years were smooth - we rarely need doctors but our kids have annual checkups, which are supposed to be covered outright. Well we went for our annual check up for 2 kids today and were told that Solidarity hasn't paid for a single claim since December of 2020. We have 2 years of backed up claims for 4 kids, totaling $3000. I called Solidarity, who said the forms weren't submitted by the pediatrician within the ********************************************** the pediatricians' office looking at their computer alongside the billing manager; there was plenty of documentation that all bills were sent, multiples times, well within 30 days. At this point our pediatrician won't allow us to come anymore. I'm sick about it - we've never had a large claim and we've always paid our monthly contribution. I don't know what happened but Solidarity is no longer reliable at all.Solidarity Healthshare

Please refer to the Solidarity HealthShare Sharing Guidelines to answer most questions regarding your healthshare Membership and our *********** teams are available to answer or provide clarity for you. Without proper coding, we are unable to move forward in processing needs for our Members and this is a cause of some delays.Per member guidelines, it is the member's responsibility to ensure all required information is submitted with each bill. Often if a need is submitted to Member Portal it can be rejected if it is missing ALL items needed for processingMember Name--Submit a copy of the coded bill(s) (Dates of Service (DOS), Billed $ amount, ICD10 codes, CPT codes,Provider Tax ID # (TIN), Provider Remit to address, & provider physical address) and any needed supporting documentation (Pre-Notification (PNT # &Clinicals if needed), Proof of Payment/Receipt, etc.). Exodus 20:16.
As a part of our ministry, we work with our members' providers to encourage billing at fair and just prices through a reference-based pricing model and solve the healthcare industry-wide problem of overbilling. Unfortunately, too many have experienced this unjust practice in the healthcare industry.
Please continue to work with our AMPS Team for any Balance Bills as they have already been completed and shared at the Fair and Reasonable Value of Service (FRVS) and they may be continuing to attempt to overcharge your family. Unfortunately, I would also not recommend this company. We have had solidarity for 2 years. The first year our bills were paid accordingly. This past year it seems that they have been using a pay scale through AMPS (**********************************) to determine what is a "fair" price to pay for each medical service. They will pay that price, but then the balance they turn over to a third party to dispute. Which is a VERY time consuming process.... My understanding is that they do this in the hope that the medical company will either "write off" the remaining balance or adjust their pay scale. I feel like this has been an experiment to try and take a stand against the inflated medical costs. I agree that medical costs may be inflated, but this stand is being taken at the cost of our credit score, time (we have been blessed with four kids under 7), calling creditors, solidarity, hospitals, etc trying to explain Solidarity's policies and why our bills are not being paid. For example, our 2 month old was diagnosed with COVID and we were directed to take her to the *** Out of the one thousand dollar bill it was determined that $326 of that bill was "fair and just." They paid the $326 and the remaining $800 has remained unpaid and is currently in collections. This ER visit was in October of 2021 and still has not been paid. This same daughter was born in 2021 and her delivery bills and my hospital stay fees both remain "in process" and unpaid. These two bills have also now gone to collections. I have been informed that the collections agency being used does not report to credit agencies, which is comforting but the issue is still not resolved. It is frustrating that we have never missed a payment, have always payed our membership dues on time and yet are stuck with thousands of dollars in collections. On the flip side, their customer service has been helpful in agreeing to conference call with the creditors and delay repercussions to our family as long as possible.Solidarity Healthshare

I had Solidarity for about two years. We are a family that doesn't go to doctors much except for wellness visits and the occasional urgent care stop. SO it took us some time to figure out Solidarity doesn't like to pay bills. I'm writing this in Dec of **************************** collections from june of 2021. Bills that range from 0 to 5, so not much at all. When i call the care team they can't give out info, like time lines of when this will be paid, just generic couple liners of info. this goes the same for mangaers. The final straw is the wellness visit they said they didn't receive until several months out from my doctor so they can't pay it. I'm tired of paying into this scam and getting sent to collections. They have never paid a bill that was their responsibility. They will promise everything when signing up but will only deliver collection letters.Solidarity Healthshare

Good try. Keep responding to customer reviews with BS. The **** is ********************** doesnt pay bills when they are responsible for payment. Yes they will process the bills that the patient is responsible for which lowers your processing time. The **** is you have bills from over 1.5 years ago that havent been paid and not just from me. The **** is I have been to collection several times when solidarity was responsible for payment. How this business can still operate is amazing to me. Please do your research before thinking about joining. There are articles from news about how solidarity is under fire for not paying. Look at other review sites. **** rating out of 5 should tell you everything you need. DONT make the same mistakes as I did and many others.Review fromJonathan T

It pains me to write this review because I believe in the mission of Solidarity in fighting against the tyrannical health system that we experience here in ******* while not comprising any moral beliefs. However, Solidarity is poorly managed, and it is hurting well-meaning families who are looking for an alternative to health insurance. As for my family and I, we switched to Solidarity in 2019 to support a Catholic alternative to health insurance. While we had a good experience in the first two years (I imagine now because we didn't have any large medical bills), our experience since the beginning of 2021 has been frustrating. Since the beginning of 2021, we have 33 outstanding medical bills that have been processed but not paid, dating back to July 15, 2021. My wife and I have confirmed on several occasions that we have submitted everything required for these bills and have received verbal confirmation that they are approved for payment. Those 33 bills add to a total of $41731 versus only $2031 in bills PAID since the beginning of 2021. Furthermore, $2031 is only 15% of what we have paid in our monthly share in 2021 and 2022. Some of our outstanding bills have been sent to collection, and Solidarity has still not paid them. I've heard this from other members as well that have outstanding hospital bills from 2021 with no hope of them being paid anytime soon. They also delete messages on the Share stream that they host in the member portal where members will say they have thousands of dollars in outstanding medical bills that have been sent to collection agencies. Finally, I want to speak to a common response I see from Solidarity in the reviews below. When Solidarity says processing time, this does not mean time to payment, this means time to approval/rejection of a bill being paid. They will not share the average time to payment for a medical bill. At best, this company is overwhelmed and without the funds to pay members' medical bills.Solidarity Healthshare

****** even begin to describe what a nightmare our lives have been since joining Solidarity in Jan 2022. I'm not going to go into detail on what all the problems are, as every other review on this page outlines our issues perfectly. We have almost 10k of medical bills sitting on a credit card that's racking up $200 in interest every month, multiples bills sent to collections, and providers hounding us for payment. Every time you talk to Solidarity, they give you the runaround, while blaming you for their incompetence. We've realized we'll be dealing with the effects of this past year for many years to come as we try to recover our finances. This company is a total scam and they should be ashamed of themselves. Please please please listen to all these reviews and run as far away from Solidarity as you possibly can.Solidarity Healthshare
