      Insane! I really wish I could assign negative stars. No wonder this company has a one star rating. I tried to purchase tickets for my family to go to Brickfest this weekend in Anaheim, CA. It's $19 a ticket. I decided to get two VIP tickets for my kids because they would feel special. I was SHOCKED to get to the checkout only to find a "transaction fee" of $22! $22 to process an online transaction that in today's world is the norm!?! This transaction fee is more than the price of a new ticket! INSANE. I will avoid Ticketmaster and it's company Universal with a vigorous passion. I will share this story with anyone who will listen as well. I can totally understand a convenience fee of perhaps $5 a transaction but certainly not $22!

In exchange for the rights to sell their tickets, our clients typically share in a portion of the fees we collect. The portion of fees we keep helps us to provide our clients with software, equipment, services and ******* to manage their tickets and box office, and provide the sales network used by clients to distribute tickets to fans. -TH

      I was not surprised to see the very low average rating to Ticketmaster. I am an avid concert goer and I wish there every concert had at least 2 services to choose from. Ticketmaster has no way to actually contact them with a current issue, and this is especially annoying when you're trying to get tickets to a concert where the tickets are going fast. That was my most recent experience, and despite using my credit card for several concerts and supplying them with my cell phone number, they kept sending a credit card confirmation code to my LAND LINE, which doesn't work. As I desperately tried to get a hold of them it became clear you can't get a hold of them so I lost out on these tickets. Bottom line, Ticketmaster sucks and it's a shame that there are very few other options from which to get your event tickets.

      CAN I GIVE NEGATIVE STARS???? HOW DOES TICKETMASTER NOT HAVE A CONTACT NUMBER? SIMPLY TRYING TO EXCHANGE TICKETS FOR ANOTHER DATE AND AM BEING TOLD THERE ARE NO AVAILABLE TICKETS BUT ON THE WEBSITE THERE ARE THOUSANDS AVAILABLE......I ASK MORE QUESTIONS AND NEVER GET A HUMAN RESPONSE....CAN WE GET A PHONE NUMBER TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS......ABSOLUTE JOKE OF A COMPANY

      This "start rating" should be -50 stars! I purchased Motley Crew tickets in December of 2019. The first show was canceled and given the major changes in the world due to COVID I somewhat understood. However the second date a full year later was then canceled (even though many other shows went on) with only a notice that was sent to my inbox titled "M??tley Cr??e/Def Leppard/Poison/Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Has been Rescheduled". I'm not the only one that feels like this was deliberate in the hopes that the email was overlooked. One would think, "Your Event is Rescheduled" would have been at the first of the subject line. By the time I found out the event had been rescheduled, I could not obtain a refund. I tried calling Ticketmaster which has no one to answer the phone. I tried reaching out multiple times on Chat and received error messages or some response days or weeks later. I finally listed my tickets for sale and the tickets sold. I have completed the required steps to receive payment, yet here I wait. The event was held seven days ago! I was originally told 5-7 days post event I would be paid. I am now told that I will not receive my funds until 7-14 days after the event. You are now holding my money for well over two years and now have received another person's money for the event. This is called theft!!! How can a company think this is ethical? I want my money now!

      Bought tickets and Allianz insurance just to make sure if anything happened, I could get a refund. They cancelled the concert and moved the date a year ahead of time but still had it marked as happening in a month. When I asked for refund, they refused saying I had to wait to resell tickets for a year. The concert would not be this year and was rescheduled a year out without offering refunds beyond 2 weeks from notification. I'm out $500 during a financially stressful time and they could care less. Customer service is dead folks and big business is here to milk you of every penny. No one cares. I will be reporting to my credit card company.

      Why this business is allowed to price gouge their own tickets and allow resellers to resell tickets for 30x the cost is unfathomable. How can you legally allow a business to swindle money from customers just to purchase tickets to entertainment? Ticketmaster/LiveNation holds a monopoly on the entertainment industry and allows people to profit off of others for buying tickets and then reselling them for way beyond asking price. This is the prime example of unfair and unchecked business practice.

      What a scam. This is a fraudulent business. I don't often purchase tickets to events, and I went with Ticketmaster because I was under the impression that it was a reputable business. I thought it was the "correct" avenue to purchase the tickets, and I thought the tickets I was purchasing were face value and expensive due to the upfront seating. Once I got the actual tickets, I found that they were $35 tickets. I paid $128 per ticket. By the time service charges were added, it was $325. I found later that by going through Ticketstar, very similar tickets (one row back) were only $35 with a total of $87 for 2 tickets. There is no way to contact anyone at Ticketmaster via phone, email, or chat. After messing with a virtual assistant on the online chat, it said it would transfer me to an agent. I have been waiting for an agent for over an hour, and no one has entered the chat. The fact that they scam people would explain why they no longer take communications of any kind from customers. What a ripoff. If you look at their Facebook page, it is loaded with similar problems and complaints. It's sad that the people who run this company have no conscience.

      I wish I could give them 0 stars. I purchased verified resell tickets at an exuberant mark up price to take my 13 year old to My Chemical Romance's reunion tour. By the time all of the fees were added at checkout my total was $1600 for 2 tickets. I purchased them in March and the funds were immediately withdrawn from my account. It is now August 25, the show is in 4 days and I have not received my tickets or the exact location of my seats. You can't speak to customer service on the phone and when you call their number you get a recording stating that they do not currently accept calls and you have to use the chat feature on the site. So after fighting with their chat bot for 30 minutes I finally get a response that my chat has been transferred to an agent who will respond in 24-48 hours. I finally get a response from an agent who sends me the same auto response as the auto bot did, which did not address my issue. I repeatedly asked WHEN will my tickets arrive and got the run around with responses about my delivery method. Then after 4 messages back and forth the agent finally tells me my tickets will be delivered the day of the event. Seriously? I'm traveling hours to this show so how exactly am I going to print them the day of if I'm on the road? I made a purchase, they took my money, and I have not received what I paid for. Their is no dispute over this from Ticketmaster. If there are any issues with the tickets there's not even enough time to receive a response from customer service. I have been a huge MCR fan since I was a teen, now my teenage daughter is a huge fan and this was to be her first concert. It was a moment that was supposed to be really special for us to share. Now I'm an anxious mess worrying I won't receive my tickets in time and may even have to start traveling to the show with no tickets in hand, placing my faith in the reliability of a company that has been anything but reliable. Im furious. I will NEVER use this service EVER again.
