Their website is allowing bots and scalpers to buy up all the tickets to be sold for thousands more than they are worth, leaving no accessibility to the average person. Also, the fees are outrageous.Ticketmaster Corp
Date: 07/26/2022
Please note, that during high-demand sales, tickets are available first-come, first-served, and not guaranteed. Ticket fees (which can include a service fee, order processing fee and sometimes a delivery fee) are determined in collaboration with our clients. In exchange for the rights to sell their tickets, our clients typically share in a portion of the fees we collect. The portion of fees we keep helps us to provide our clients with software, equipment, services and ******* to manage their tickets and box office, and provide the sales network used by clients to distribute tickets to fans. The remainder, when taken with other revenues, is how we earn a profit.Review fromShawn K

I guess this is just another one of the thousands of negative online reviews concerning customer service. I purchased 6 tickets for a concert on November X XXXX. We were unable to go so I sold tickets through Ticketmaster and to date I haven't seen any money. I contacted them ( File XX-XXXXX ) and we have exchanged 59 messages so far. Sometimes the BOTS want to start all over from the beginning. I've also been told numerous times that the cheque's in the mail, they will be depositing to my bank account or they will be crediting my card. I suspect that this is more than poor service. Most people are out a relatively small amount, under $500, so I'm sure the majority just give up leaving Ticketmaster with millions that they have no intention of returning to customers. The annoying scammers from India would kill for such a scheme. I'll keep trying though.Ticketmaster Corp

Bought tickets with the insurance, ticketmaster changed ther date, did not get any info or email on the change, have tried to get a refund, no phone # is in service(shady) & no direct info on how to get my refund. This company is the worst. Their other scam is the insurance, don't do it.Ticketmaster Corp

Hi Rob,
We processed your refund in the amount of $345.50 on July 22, 2022. You can expect to see the refund back to the original credit card used for purchase in 3-5 business days. As for the insurance, you would need to contact Allianz as we do not bill the insurance.
Thanks,

I purchased tickets through Ticketmaster for a 1 day event in Vegas initially changed dates from when I first purchased a ticket for what was listed as one night only, July 8th, 2022. The total for that ticket was all in $163.67. I then received a notice from Ticketmaster saying "YOUR EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED: Your Tickets are still valid. It then became a 3 day festival with dates changing per Ticketmaster with the notice coming through , now becoming the 8th, 9th and 10th of July event so I purchased the 3 day price with the understanding that I would be refunded for the night I already paid ($163.67). I reached out to Ticketmaster prior to the event as well as ongoing as of today to find out the status of this refund. I was treated rudely and looking at all the other customer reviews below of past dealings with Ticketmaster it is my same experience in this case. They are expecting me to be okay with paying for July 8 a flat fee as well as what I paid for the 3 day event, 8th , 9th and 10th. In essence the July 8th was paid for twice. I am requesting a refund for the one duplicate day I was charged. I am not getting any help for resolve even after they requested all the docs and transaction info relative to this issue. I am warning future ticket buyers to use other avenues which are fair to the customer. The other issue happened the night of the event. The entry to the venue required you using your cell to scan the bar code. The second and third night this system didn't work and many of the ticketgoers were left without the barcode to enter as it only said null. I was lucky that I brought a printed copy of my receipt and had to use that to enter on the last two nights. This was a huge fiasco on ticketmasters part and when I finally did speak to a human after miles of email and chat conversations they simply could have cared less. Again I am requested the refund I am due, $163.67 Just asking for them to do the right thing. ****** STicketmaster Corp

1 starIf I could give zero stars & still leave a review I would. I purchased tickets to an Orioles game at Camden Yard in 2020, then the pandemic shut down the ball parks. I was given an option for a refund, or a credit with an additional percentage amount for choosing credit. I opt'd for the credit. Fast forward to 2022 I can no longer use the credit...not because it expired but because it's only good for original sale tickets for Camden Yard. And Ticketmaster no longer sells original tickets, only resales...which are not eligible tickets for the credit to be used on. I want my money back. But there's no way to contact them. I guess Ticketmaster closed their customer service department seeing as they no longer accept phone calls & all the email I've attempted to send was answered with a link to the website...which only sends you in a maddening circle of NEVER getting to talk to anyone, just getting sent to the FAQ page. From reading reviews it appears I'm not the only person that's been pretty much scammed out of my money.Review fromIda S

I go to Ticketmaster to get tickets, I am waiting in line, now it says there are 136 people ahead of me, then my screen says oops something went wrong and I have to start over, which now it says 2000 plus are ahead of me. This isn't the first time this has happened and the fees are ridiculous! I can see charging one fee for one order not each ticket. If I never had to use Ticketmaster again I wouldn't. There has been too many problems over the years I have experienced with them.Ticketmaster Corp

Zero stars! During pandemic a concert got canceled, never got refunded. They claim it was reimbursed to the card the tickets were purchased with. I closed that account a year and a half before this concert was canceled. All updated card info in my account but they supposedly can't refund to a different card. Total BS. I then sold tickets last week - first require a tax form to be completed, which I did. Then they claim they need to verify my card that is getting reimbursed. Been 7 business days and haven't seen payment. I contacted them via messaging since no one is available. They gave me instructions to "verify" my card again. These instructions don't work when on the website. How hard is it for me to get paid for tickets I didn't even make money on!?! They shouldn't even be allowed to conduct business! Between monopolizing the entire ticket world! When I went to school, I thought businesses like this were illegal.Ticketmaster Corp

I purchased 2 tickets for the Celine Dion concert in Denver that was cancelled for the March 2022 date. I have not received a refund (over $600). No one answers the phone and all I get is an email with the return policy that states the refund should have been 30 days after cancellation. We are now at 4 months and I have not gotten my refund. I NEED that money back!!!Ticketmaster Corp

Hi,
I located a ticket order that was transferred to you. For event cancellations, the funds are returned to the original purchaser. Please contact your point of purchase about a refund since you did not pay Ticketmaster for tickets.
Thanks,
Dain

I bought tickets to the motley crue stadium tour when it was announced in 2020. After being postponed multiple times my tickets have disappeared. I've tried contacting multiple times by email as that's the only way to reach them. And the only response I get is my tickets will be available 24/48 hours before the show. Well it is now 24 hours before the show and still no tickets. Like I said I've tried contacting them multiple times about my problem but they haven't even tried resolving it at all. I've used ticketmaster many times and never had this problem. So the lack of any customer ******* at all is very frustrating. All I want to do is go to a concert that I paid more for in 2020 than the tickets cost now.
Just got another reply saying they are sending a request to research my account and I will have a response in 3-5 business days. The concert is tomorrow. This is a horrible business practice. Last time I use ticketmaster.Ticketmaster Corp

I am sorry for the delay. I see customer service replied and attached the tickets as a pdf for your to print in time for the event.
Thanks.,
