I ordered Illinois vs ************ tickets for 11/30/24 at ************* in *******. I was starting to get concerned that I had not received the tickets via email about a week before the event. On 11/25 I tried to contact Ticketmaster but finally hung up after about a 1/2 hour wait. I tried a couple of days later and the same thing, about a 15 minute wait with no *** coming to the phonr. I went on chat and no *** came on chat the first time. A 2nd try at Chat and I had a *** come and said they would contact me in 3-5 business days. I also sent an email and an auto ***ly was sent that they will be resoving issue and someone will be reaching out shortly. Of course no one reeached out. The day of the game, I finally got an email saying that we will be resolving your issue to anser back with a YES or CONFIRM that you need help. I ***lied confirm and no ***ly. This was all happening while I am on the way to the game.I walked to the ticket booth and told them my situation. The gentleman at the the booth told me to check on the *** BALLPARK app. Gues what, it waas there. How in the world was i supposed to know that the tickets would be sent to this app. I guess because it's a baseball stadium. My question is, why wouldn't Ticketmaster informed me that is where my ticketsd would get delivered to. That is just completly inexcusable for Ticketmaster not to inform me of this. After learning of this, I checked back my emails and yes there was the email from Ballpark. I must have seen the email but did not open it thinking it was just an ad. The fact that they didn't inform me of the ballpark app is one thing but the lack of them not contacting me after so many attempts is incompetant and very dissapointing. Shame on you Ticketmaster!!. .

Here's a concise breakdown of Ticketmaster's major issues:1. Deceptive Fee Structure - Hidden "convenience fees" often exceeding 30% of ticket price - Multiple layered charges revealed only after significant time investment - Dynamic pricing that turns concerts into bidding wars 2. Monopolistic Control - 2010 Live Nation merger created unprecedented control over venues, promotion, and ticketing - Survived Pearl ***** 1990s Congressional testimony challenge - Maintains iron grip on venue contracts despite public opposition 3. Anti-Consumer Practices - Forces account creation and data sharing - Mobile-only ticket system locks users into their ecosystem - "Verified Fan" program creates false sense of fairness while acting as lottery system 4. Artificial Scarcity Tactics - Reserves large ticket blocks for special programs and presales - Forces fans to join multiple presale programs and obtain specific credit cards - Profits twice through their own resale platform 5. Technical Failures - Major system crashes during high-demand events (like ****** ******* Eras Tour)- Deflects blame to "unprecedented demand" rather than addressing system inadequacies Despite lawsuits, investigations, and unified opposition from fans, musicians, and politicians, Ticketmaster continues these practices due to their market dominance.

The day ** Chemical ******* tickets went on sale for their Chicago show, I attempted to buy some. All of the affordable seats were already bought up and listed by scalpers (resellers) for exorbitant amounts. Due to Ticketmaster's toxic business practices in allowing people to buy and instantly resell for their own profit, I was unable to afford any tickets. Rather than working for the fans, this company strictly is concerned with their own profits. My attempts to contact them were initially ignored and then closed without so much as a reply.

We sell tickets on behalf of Event Organizers, which means we do not set the ticket prices or determine seating locations. Event Organizers typically set the face price of their tickets. Tickets are generally sold through several distribution points, including websites, apps, and box offices. Most distribution points generally access the same ticketing system and inventory; therefore, tickets for popular events may sell out quickly. Occasionally, additional tickets may be available prior to the event. However, we do not control this inventory or its availability. Check out our FAQs section for more information on ticket availability.
Similarly, we facilitate third party ticket resale transactions, but do not set the ticket prices or determine seating locations of those resale tickets. Please be aware that resale tickets are often posted for sale on our site at prices that are higher than their original prices.
Further, with respect to resale tickets purchased from the Site: Market prices are subject to change at any time prior to Order Confirmation, and we do not guarantee that you will be able to purchase the tickets for the prices shown on our Site, or that such tickets will be available, until Order Confirmation. We are not responsible for any typographical or system errors within the inventory listed for sale. If an error is found while processing your order, you will be notified of the error and a substitution will be made when available, at no additional cost, or we will issue a refund. Please check your tickets carefully once they arrive, and please contact us if you have any questions regarding the tickets you received. We may charge fulfillment, shipping, service, or other fees for using our services. We may change such fees at any time, including after you post your tickets.

Again, my complaint is the fact that this company time and again has allowed unscrupulous people to buy up tickets, only to immediately resell them at outrageous prices. Everything else they say is just to distract people from the truth. Only the rich are allowed to enjoy events according to this company.

I don't think I've dealt with a worse company. The pink concert was Oct 9th. 2 weeks before I saw **** chefg had accepted the transfer of my tickets. I never initiated a transfer. I contacted Ticketmaster and the said they would look into it. About a week later they were put back into account. The day of the concert I saw that 1 ticket was sold and again 1 ticket was transferred to **** chefg. So we missed the concert. I have talked to customer service every week. It s going on 6 weeks now and I get no answer as to what's going on and all they can do is send a message to fraud department. They say the fraud ***** Is an outside company and I can't talk to anyone because they don't have access to the fraud ***** All they can do is send a request to them but there is no progress updates. Their system is hacked and they can't do anything about it. The transfers and being sold happened without the 2 factor authentication happening. I never got a text or email confirming the transfer. The hackers in their system are so deep that their safety protocols mean nothing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased tickets to a concert that was canceled. I was told I would receive a refund between ***** days. Its been beyond 21 days and I contacted Ticketmaster to see what was going on. I got nothing but the runaround and placing blame on others. I was told I would hear back from the correct team in 3-5 business days. This is ridiculous. I gave my money to Ticketmaster so they should be responsible to give me my money back.

I bought ***** **** tickets for April 11 Syracuse show and now better seats are selling at a lower cost. I contacted Ticketmaster and they wont upgrade or reimburse me the difference. Its over a $100 difference a ticket, so I paid $200 for two tickets!

My tickets have been stolen out of my account by a hacker and the customer service has been terrible. It feels as if since this didnt happen to them they could care less. My $600 ticket might go up in smoke because the fraud hotline NEVER picks up the phone or calls you back, and the other number they gave me to call to escalate the situation is no longer in service. I know theres many people in my same situation who got hacked because of ticketmasters data breach and have lost thousands in tickets. Im still holding on to hope ill get this resolved and get my tickets back but as of right now theyre definitely not inspiring confidence in me and i wish there was a different company to buy tickets from.

I'd give 0 stars if I could. We purchased tickets to *** smackdown & invited our friends after. Since we all wanted to sit together my husband and I sold our original tickets through Ticketmaster. At first they wanted us to fill out a tax form to get our resale money. We did that and still no resale money. It takes 45 mins to get a hold of someone but when we did they said somehow the process got stuck and they had to manually push it through but we would see our money in 5-7 days. Over a month later Ticketmaster is now saying that our account is being investigated for fraud and they can't release the funds to us. No expected time of resolution. So basically they're holding our money hostage or completely ripped us off. Will be taking them to small claims court. With all these complaints and bad ethics I don't see how Ticketmaster is able to continue to scam people like this.

I went online before tickets went on sale on opening day. The band I was buying didn't have a presale. Then when I finally made it to buy tickets after waiting in queue the only tickets left were verified resale tickets at a huge mark up. Ticketmaster allows and encourages scalping. Resale tickets shouldn't be allowed *********** day. Resale tickets shouldn't be allowed to be sold for more than they originally bought them for. 30 minutes into the sale all the tickets should not be gone. ********** is a fraud, scalping business.
