1 starSince may 5,2024 I have spent every day on the phone trying to resolve a APPLE ID issue created by APPLE first tier and senior advisors . These advisors turned a small simple issue into a massive problem . Thanks to apple advisors two devices both on payment device agreements have activation locks. The iPad is one month old price $609.00. iPhone cost ****** which isnt even close to being paid off ( amount owed $425.00). Apple advisors performed three failed account recoveries and created an account recovery key twice which created an even bigger problem. Ive submitted proof of purchase for the iPhone three times the request for activation lock removal denied . I submitted the iPad proof of purchase twice and approved but what apple advisors didnt tell me was erasing the device wouldnt be a simple process it will require a working computer with the latest iTunes software installed . Apple advisors are rude , lack knowledge , need retraining in apple devices, tech support retraining and most importantly how to treat customers . One ********************** advisor said the following I have a job thanks to you and Im able to put my two daughters through medical school. When I told others that they laughed !!!! How unprofessional .When I told other apple Advisors the problem needing assistance with they laughed !!!! Forgive me but I dont see the humor in this losing 1350 dollars isnt funny and owing a device agreement on a device that cant be used unless activation lock is removed isnt a positive experience . End result purchasing two new devices which means total out of pocket expense 1500 plus the monetary loss. THANK YOU APPLE!!!!! ******************* is turning over in his grave . If he was alive today apple would be running efficiently .RIP *******************!!! Apple customers ********************** advisors claim they cant tamper with Apple ID ACCOUNTS dont believe them they messed with mine !!!!!Review fromSylvia C

1 starAfter almost two weeks of trying to get a replacement Iphone and paying applecare+ for 4 years, I cannot get a replacement device. I have spent in excess of 24 hours on the phone with them trying to gt help and keep getting kicked over to another company for theft and loss claims and Apple is incapable of even getting them the claim number pushed through to their system. I pay applecare not the other company. Apple is a huge company and replacing my phone at some point should not be a problem. This is a nightmare. Make sure that you never use Applecare for anything as it is complete waste of time and money. I have been ripped off for almost $600 to not get a replacement device.Review fromKatharine B

1 starApple makes it very easy to upgrade iCloud storage (and pay them more money) but makes it next-to-impossible to downgrade their iCloud storage plan (and pay them less money), even if you are using much less storage space than the downgraded plan. The instructions that they include in this article do not work: ******************************************************* After hours troubleshooting with Apple Support, it sounds like the downgrade has been processed on their end, but Apple will not provide an email confirmation of the downgrade and the in-product messaging still says that I am enrolled in the higher-cost plan. The solution? Check back in a few weeks and contact Apple support again if I am still charged for the higher-cost plan. Frustrating that I have to spend hours on end without a clear solution when every other company will let you unsubscribe easily online.Review fromEric T

1 starI have found out that Apple charges me double the price every time I use an app to make a purchase. If I opened safari and went to the apps mobile website to buy the same in app purchase it would cost half the price. Apple was incredibly rude when I asked why and no one could give a real answer. Then support supervisor ******* was incredibly unprofessional and basically said if Apple users are dumb enough to agree to pay double the price for no reason just because they trust Apple than its our fault as the consumer. There needs to be a class action lawsuit filed - Ive lost thousands of dollars over the years just for using Apple.Review fromWyn C

1 starTitle: Disappointing Experience with Apple Support - Refusal to Refund Unauthorized Purchases I am extremely disappointed with the level of service provided by Apple Support regarding unauthorized purchases made on my account. Despite reaching out multiple times and clearly explaining the situation, they have continuously refused to issue a refund for items that I did not purchase, resulting in a loss of over $200.Not only did Apple fail to address the issue promptly, but their representatives were also dismissive and unhelpful throughout the entire process. Despite providing evidence and documentation to support my claim of unauthorized transactions, they insisted on sticking to their rigid refund policy without considering the unique circumstances of my case.As a loyal customer of ********************** for many years, I expected better treatment and support when facing such a serious issue. It is unacceptable that Apple is unwilling to take responsibility for security breaches or fraudulent activity on their platform, leaving customers like myself to bear the financial burden.I urge Apple to reevaluate their refund policies and prioritize customer satisfaction and security. It is clear that their current approach is failing to protect consumers and maintain trust in their brand. Until Apple demonstrates a commitment to addressing these concerns and providing adequate support to affected customers, I cannot in good conscience recommend their products or services.Overall, my experience with Apple Support has been deeply disappointing, and I am left feeling frustrated and let down by the lack of accountability and empathy shown towards customers in need.Review fromDenise S

1 starApple is refusing to cancel and refund an order I made within the same hour. I decided to cancel an order for left Apple AirPod, due to cost being too high and finding lost AirPod. Employee was rude and said package was ready to send even though payment was still pending. Apple is a major corporation that has customer service representatives utilizing stalling tactics, as a way to bite the consumers hand (delaying timeframes) and stealing from loyal customers! Their refund policy is an awful way to keep customers stuck in a cycle of debt.Review fromKathryn S

1 starHorrible store that uses high pressure sales tactics when all you need is an easy repair (I'm talking not taking no for an answer and pressuing us over and over, implying we are making a mistake.....fyi the device was only a little over a year old and the repair was an easy one). They also gave the completely incorrect timeline for the repair. It was actulaly done fast (which is great), but we live far from store and told them this. They insisted it would be several days to repair (we were willing to spend the day shopping etc and wait, but they said impossible). We asked about shipping it once repaired and they gave reasons that wouldn't work. We agreed to make the long round trip to get the device once repaired. We left and got a text once home that it was fixed (!). Again - so happy for the fast repair, But would have appreciated knowing it was even an option in order to make an informed decision about whether or not we should have stayed and waited or left and made the trip back (2 hours roundtrip - so it is not easy). We tried to talk to one of the managers about this.....not sure we did as the man said he was a "store leader" and while nice he basically just turned it around on us and made excuses for the whole experience. We are out a lot of time and extra money in travel expenses to do this. Not to mention the stress caused from the orignal sales person who made us feel crazy for repairing a device that was just over 12 months old. Don't use this store!!! Buy online and find an authorized apple repair shop for repairs. No more genius bar for us.Review fromStephen N

1 starI bought a Apple gift card at a Wal-mart for my wife she opened it the cardboard that held the card and the card that the last portion of the card non ledgible, which looks like a defect in printing on apples part. Went to get a refund from Wal-mart and was told I would have to contact Apple. Contacted Apple, I submitted pictures, of the package the card was in, the card, and the receipt both front and back, and got a Case#, which I can't put on here apparently. Thinking ok it was a factory misprint they will just give me another number to use. A month goes by and nothing. Call again and Talk to a ******* in support and was told she'd get to the bottom of this. this is two hours out of my time, and still no resolution on the $50 about the card. April 19th I get an email stating "We are unable to resolve the issue with your gift card.". Up to this point I was nice and kind. I call back again on my day off this time I was not mr nice guy. I was told that they "couldn't do anything cause the card was redeemed" that was a lie because of the print malfunction there was no way anyone could have redeemed the card. and if they knew it was redeemed who redeemed it? I work in IT I know they have an sql database of of this information, don't try to snow ball me. Apple made 90 billion dollars in 2024 they can't take the time to resolve $50 print mistake to add insult I was told next time to purchase online instead of a store to avoid issues. I'm like you don't stand by the product that you send to a store ? How does ******* and other companies do it without issue? I will be posting my story on Reddit, ******************** X, and other social media. Also looking to see if there is a class action lawsuit to join, which is dumb fix the problem pay less. don't fix the problem pay more...bad business decision.
