Apple refuses to let us change our account password ***** my daughter's phone broke for a month. We cannot transfer her data, we would have to buy a brand new phone with a brand new account and she would lose everything. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Black Friday $50 gift card -Not sent? It appears that Apple continues to rely on the practice of not sending the promised $50 gift card with the qualifying iPhone purchase just hoping the recipient will expect it to come when the iPhone is shipped, but THAT will be too late. No gift cards will be sent after any promotion has ended. SO, if you purchase qualifying devices for these promotions BEWARE and contact Apple immediately if you do not get the $50 gift card via email after purchase. I purchased two iPhone SE(third generation) as my husband and I needed new 5G phones and we experienced this. The Apple representative I spoke with had even been ripped off when he purchased a laptop from Apple and didn't get his $100 gift card. In the link below for another section of this Community Forum, apparently this has been going on for quite some time. The only satisfaction my husband and I got was a free accessory, but that took a LOT of complaining about "bait and switch" practices, bad business practice, many years of education purchases from Apple, etc. I really thought better of Apple's customer service until now. Seems I can't leave a link, so look up "I didn't received the gift card with my Black Friday iPhone purchase" and see complaints from 2021.

I wish I can give a zero for it. Apple advertise $50 gift card with purchase of iphone 12/13 during Thanksgiving period. I read all the terms and conditions and confirm with their representative for at least twice before I made my purchase. After the pickup and never get this promotion, I call to find out and first time that disconnect my call, second time that being told I am not eligible for the promotion (while I have confirm my eligibility twice before I made my purchase). At the end they just said that I am not eligible and END. What a bad customer experience!

      Dear Better Business Bureau:

Thank you for your recent correspondence to the executive offices of Apple.

This office attempted to contact the customer several times regarding their complaint. Because Apple has not received a response, Apple must assume, unless we hear otherwise, that the issues described in their complaint have been resolved to their satisfaction.

      Sincerely,

      Apple Retail Executive Relations

I never received a response from Apple regarding this complaint! Except if you count promotion as an approach? Again, I don't agree with this resolution!

I bought an iPhone 12 Pro *** last year from Spectrum and exactly a year passed ** stopped updating. I tried my best to go the right tech support but they concluded it's a manufacturing defect. Spectrum has a working SIM but they too concluded it's an Apple problem. "Coincidentally" the phone stopped working right after the insurance coverage expired. I tried to verify if it's not planned obsolescence. They said no. Really? But still they said no to replacing its defective *****-made product. One in a million coincidence? I reasoned that if it's a manufacturing problem, why are they refusing to replace it. They said they want to replace the internal board for a $599 fee that's almost half the price when I bought it last year. How much is the defective iPhone's value today? $0! The tech support said the phone is now worth nothing. Wow, hyped product and hyped fee, indeed. Why would I pay to fix a product that has no value at all?

********* of people here with defective Apple manufactured products and they refuse to replace or cover it? Count me in, I could join you.

If I could give Apple zero stars I would. Apple caused me hardship and will not give me a refund and I had stuff that needed to be paid off and I had to end up putting my stuff on hold. I used the Live Bingo app which charged me over $300. I tried filing a claim 4 times and it got denied. I called and asked why it was denied and support claimed there was no reason. Apparently they lied. The status of the claim was Compromised Account. How is requesting a refund committing fraud? I have purchased several Apple products and for this to happen is BS. I strongly suggest for everyone to stop purchasing Apple products because they care more about getting customers money than their actual money.

I purchased a MacBook from someone from ******** market place may 2021. Sept 2022 it locked on me. They said "someone" put it in lost mode and they can't get it out. I reached out to the lady who sold it to me. She gave me the proof of purchase and showed me she been removed it from her account. So who out it in lost mode?! I called apple support and they told me I'm basically out of a laptop!!!! I'm so upset

Apple advertised a free $50 gift card with purchase of iPhone 12 or 13. Never received gift card. Mentioned it at pick up and they told me it would be emailed. Never emailed. Went to Apple and after 3 text conversations they finally sent it and acted like they did me a favor. One of the most profitable companies and trying to cheat people out of advertised sales. Scandalous

I purchased an iPhone 7+ in 2017. Not knowing the length of support that slick trick Apple would offer and they don't tell customers that because they are MONEY HUNGRY!! I've had the same on going problems with this crappy phone that I gave Apple $1000 cash when purchased along with an extended warranty. The phone has so many problems there's nothing that can be done per geek squad. All Apple continues to do is replace my Apple phone with the exact same type of problem phone therefore I continued to have the same problems because the problems have NEVER been solved because there are software issues that are no longer supported. In fact, I just found out yesterday from an Apple manager that my phone has become obsolete, yet Apple continues to take Apple care payments from my debit card EVERY month and have been for years. Apple has told me lie after lie after lie. It would just be so easy and simple to just give me the latest iPhone that Apple has released and be done but no they just keep dragging this out for years and I've had it!!! REPLACE MY CRAPPY IPHONE 7+ WITH YOUR NEWEST IPHONE!!! I DONT CARE WHAT YOUR POLICY IS!!!!

I purchased an IPhone 14 and traded a IPhone 12 plus for what they offered, sent the trade in and after 2 months they returned it to me saying the phone had scratches and screen bleed. This is absurd, I sent a perfect condition phone to them and they claim I sent them a defective item. I have been using Apple products but the last generations are very cheaply made, I had an I watch that the screen separated after 1 year and 3 months. Too much garbage being manufactured. I will never buy another Apple product again
