Just found out I've been charged for the last few months for a $19.99 subscription that I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR. There was NO indication that stamps.com would be charging a monthly rate, and I only caught the charge because I'm trying to reduce some of my monthly expenditures... I only used the service like 4 times. This company is a scam and I want my money back for the subscription service that I did NOT sign up for!Business Response

I gratefully accept the refund as I really did not know I was being charged a membership fee. I probably should have paid more attention to the terms and conditions, and truthfully there should have been an email confirmation that I was being billed for $19.99/month. I always got confirmation when I deposited money prior to shipment, so that's what I was going by. Anyway, thank you for making this right.Initial Complaint

Stamps.com charged me for a subscription Plan when I used the site once to purchase a shipping label. There are 3 tiers of membership which I never reviewed or agreed to. They charged me $22 dollars a month without providing any service. I paid for every shipping label at the full postage rate. I was being charged $22 a month to use their website? This is a fraudulent business practice. I only entered my card to pay for the shipping labels and they used it to charge me a subscription fee. And for a nonexistent benefit.Business Response

I was automatically enrolled into a subscription for a service I have never onced used. I had taken a look at the services they provided, but I chose against doing business with them not knowing that they would solicit fees for merely creating an account with them. I was completely unaware that they're a subscription service and not a storefront retailer.Business Response

I just discovered that stamps.com has been charging my credit card $19.99 a month for 18 months for a subscription that I never started and I never even knew that I had. I initially tried to use their service to print a "free" postage label (I also received a "free" scale from them), but the stamps would not print. I thought this was user error at the time, not part of their scam, and since I did't know I was being charged, I never thought twice about it. I thought they were affiliated with the post office; and I never received any information from them that I would be charged for a subscription, let alone $19.99 per month. Unfortunately, I had given them my credit card information. I definitely didn't sign up for a subscription with them and never got any notice from them regarding signing up. I've paid $19.99 per month for over a year. I only discovered the charge because my spouse, who pays our credit card bill every month, asked me about it when looking into another unauthorized charge on our bill (resolved). I'm requesting a refund of the money they've taken from me without my knowledge. Thank you for any help you can provide with this.Business Response

Stamps.com has been charging me $19.99 a month for an entire year without my consent or knowledge. I have not used their services in that time. I was pricing out shipping in Jan of 2023, but didn't use stamps.com and just found out that they've been charging me ever since. I haven't received ANY receipts or notifications about these charges. I am in shock that a company I thought was reputable has such shady practices.Business Response

I signed up for the Stamps.com trial with the $5.00 of free postage with the understanding that this was a complimentary offer for their service. Lo and behold, a month later, a charge appears on my credit card for $26.32 of a service that I had not used beyond sending a single letter. I had little indication that this subscription would be charged and, frankly, see little reason for a subscription beyond collecting monthly dues from unwary people who thought to send the occasional letter for the price of a stamp in the convenience of their own home. I had no indication throughout the process that there would be a subscription and I am troubled and frustrated to see that I am being charged for a service I only ever intended to use occasionally. I have called in several times only to be bounced around with no sign of a refund in sight. This is extremely disappointing and I just want them to make this right with me.Business Response
