1 starHyundai is still a junk car company, with terrible quality, and does not stand by their products. We have a Hyundai Elantra with 75k miles, and the engine has to be replaced. It is 1 year past the 10 year warranty, but Hyundai created an extended warranty because this is a known issue and acknowledged by Hyundai on their own website. However, they denied any repair assistance, and when speaking with the ************************* they tell us they have no way of contacting Hyundai Motors to escalate or appeal the decision. So your own ************************ can't reach someone within the same company? Lies and deceit, and unacceptable customer service. Will never buy another ********************** in our lifetime and will make sure none of our friends or family are fooled by their marketing claims of better quality either.Review fromJordan c

1 star2016 hyundai sanata -The peeling of the paint just started and Hyundai said it will be covered under the txxw white paint concerns warranty- the issue is I can't even find a body shop that will look at my car - they are well aware of this warranty and want nothing to do with it because Hyundai is only trying to do a top layer coat of paint to fix issue and will only pay $1,600-$1,800 when in fact that will not fix the issue and will only put a bandage on the problem because is will do it again- in order to properly fix this in needs to be stripped down all the to the very beginning and Hyundai will not acknowledge this issue so body shops are now turning these jobs awayReview fromHope H

1 starHyundai motor finance removed themselves as lein holder on my title prior to me totaling my car. They claim a payment was made over the phone intially back in 2022 but I told multiple representatives at Hyundai I never paid my car off. I made monthly payments on time the entire time I had the loan. I totaled my 2022 hyundai elantra on 08/12/23 and have been trying to get my loan paid off by ***** since then. Hyundai cashed the certified check from geico to pay off my total loss on 12/13/23 however they still have not listed themselves as lein holder on my title. I was told to mail the title that they mailed to me twice to *********** dmv. I cannot get ahold of anywhere at *********** DMv I have called and mailed them twice over the past few months and they have not sent me a duplicate title in the mail still as I requested over a month ago. I simply need my car loan paid off. This has caused me so much stress, time, and gas going from hyundai Stores in *********, to ********* and flamingo dmv multiple times, my credit being affected, and it's been a nightmare trying to get my title perfected. Hyundai motor finance has shown me horrible customer service. I have been hung up on by multiple representative at Hyundai motor finance and ran in circles trying to get this matter resolved for over a year now. I have even been on 3 way calls with geico representatives and hyundai at the same time and Hyundai would hang up the call as soon as I would complain about service I received by their employees. Its gotten to the point I have a case worker with Hyundai and she still has no information for me other than to tell me I am supposed to still continue to make monthly payments while I wait for loan to be paid off or that It is my responsibility to get the title back from *********** dmv. This is not ok to do to good customers. I am appalled by it all and will let everyone I know to stay away. I have also informed BBB of what is going on because this is out of hand.Review fromCary D

1 star2019 Hyundai ****** second owner purchased vehicle 2021. March of 2023 vehicle had ****** miles was adding 2-3 qrts oil before my vehicle was due for an oil change.March 23,2023 took vehicle to ********************* of *********. Was told inspection need to be done cost would be $150.00 paid by me. I agreed knew something was wrong my hope the issue would be fixed with warranty. End of next day March 24, 2023 I reached out. Was told no information yet. March 27, 2023 got call. Was told a recall was fixed also the catalytic converter not working properly. Reason oil was spilling over into the *** not covered. it is around $3000.00. I insisted an oil issue caused this and it needs addressed. Was told by service drive the car don't add oil and when the engine started to make a knock noise bring it back they would try to get Hyundai to approve an oil consumption test. I followed service instructions on May 3, 2023 approx **** miles from the last service I had my vehicle back it was making the knock noise as instructed. Left vehicle would call with the follow up info. May 6, 2023 I get a call and was asked if I approved an oil change because my car was making that noise was because I did not put any oil in it. Advised this is what I was told to do. Then Hyundai denied my claim because out of warranty mileage to high. It would be $3000.00 for the *** replacement and $4000.00 for a new engine. Asked about extended warranty and was told by service that it did not cover any issues I was having and $7000.00 would need to be covered by me. I feel the ext. warranty should cover the issues. Was told nothing more ********************* could do for me. Since May, I have continued to have oil issues that are getting worse. I feel if ********************* would have addressed the extended warranty issue with Hyundai at the time I would not be in the situation I am in now. I am afraid with the oil consumption issue and the catalytic converter issue I am driving in a dangerous vehicle everyday.Review fromJames M

1 starI purchased a 2023 Hyundai ************** in October 2022. On July 19, 2023 I had to have it towed to the dealership. It has been there ever since. I contacted Hyundai Motor Corp. and asked it be replaced under Oklahomas Lemon Law. They agreed and verified they would be buying it back via email. I have sent all information requested and now they are ghosting me. Only one person responded by email on December 1, 2023 and said they would be offering the buyback settlement soon. Still no word. I cannot reach anyone by phone and have sent multiple emails over several weeks with no response other than one mentioned above. In the meantime I foolishly it seems in retrospect went ahead and bought a **** Hyundai **************. Now Im stuck with 2 payments when I dont even have possession of one and havent since 7/19/23. No one in corporate or customer service will assist in any way. Corporate said I would have to wait on the buyback people. The person I had been dealing with has not responded to emails or phone messages in over a month. I have sent many emails to everyones email I could find and have left many messages, all to no avail.Review fromSteve C

1 starIn early 2018 I bought two new Hyundais. A 2017 Tucson and a 2018 Sonata. At ****** the ** went out on the **** ******. Hyundai would not warrant the car. I paid over $1,000 for a new **. Then the check engine light came on and the cost for a new motor could be $11, 500. Again, I had AAA tow the car in $170 just 43 days apart. No warranty at ****** miles. Hyundai says they have the greatest warranty in the car business, but not for my 83 year old mother with Stage 4 breast cancer. She is penalized because she only shops and drives to church. This is embarrassing, that a brand new car has major problems and Hyundai wont step in with only ****** & ****** miles. *** change every ***** as required to stay under warranty. Hyundai is corrupt. Over ****** left on the factory warranty and Hyundai makes me pay 100% of all the bills on a brand new car with (3) miles on it, and a fake ****** warranty. Dont buy Hyundai. *****Review fromTiffany R

1 starThis company doesnt even deserve one star! Worst..absolutely WORST car company in existence!! Blown motor on my car that only had 84k miles on it. And this company doesnt want to work with their customers. I see so many people who are in my shoes, how do you stay in business when you cant ever EVER.honor warranties or actually fix the issues with your engines?? I will never buy another Hyundai ever again. Worst decision I ever made, with a company who only cares about profits and not about selling s good product to customers who need a reliable & safe vehicle. This company needs to be shut down entirely!Review fromWilliam H

1 starI am having an issue concerning their bluelink, and I cannot get ahold of anyone to actually help. I first sent a message through their online help site. I was then told I had to call. When calling, I was put on hold for over an hour, only to to be cut off. Then I tried online chat only to be told they could not help me as I needed to call or email. I initially emailed the address they gave me 10 days ago, and have seen subsequent follow-up emails with no response. They clearly just want me to give up and not actually help me. I will not be recommending Hyundai to anyone moving forward, and will not be considering Hyundai when it's time to buy my next vehicle.Review fromjulio r
